Abstract

The role of parents is one of the determining factors for the success or failure of children in the educational process. Parents play a crucial role in supporting their children's education as well as their growth and development. The success of children heavily depends on their parents and the surrounding environment. This is particularly true for children with special needs, who have unique potential and abilities compared to their peers but should still receive equal treatment and opportunities. Parental involvement in the learning process is crucial to create effective learning environments for children. This research aims to examine the role of parents in the education of children with special needs. The research utilized a survey method, and the findings indicate that the role of parents in the education of children with special needs at TK Dharma Melonguane, Talaud Islands District, falls into the low category, with 20% or 3 out of 15 parents involved in their child's education. Abstract

ABSTRACT Teachers play a crucial role in helping develop the optimal abilities of learners. One of their current roles is to provide services needed by learners with special needs. Children with special needs are those experiencing developmental issues, requiring educational services that cater to their early childhood needs. Special education services for these children aim to maximize their potential from an early age. This research aims to explore the role of early childhood education (ECE) teachers in providing educational services for children with special needs. The research methodology used in this study was a survey method, and the findings indicate that the role of ECE teachers in providing educational services for children with special needs at PKG PAUD Melonguane is 22.38%, involving 15 out of 67 ECE teachers. Abstract

Teachers have four competence that is pedagogic competence , competence personality , competence social , and competence professional . According to Director General Regulation No. 2626 of 2023 on Competency Professional there are 3 indicators that is knowledge content learning and methods teach it , characteristics and ways Study participant education , and curriculum and methods use it . The teacher 's abilities become not quite enough the teacher answers to become a competent teacher . BASIRU digital media is one media that helps increase teacher skills in method teach specifically teach literacy read write . Research that uses method study descriptive qualitative . Data collection techniques used is do interview to kindergarten teachers in the South Jakarta area. Data analyzed with reduce data. Based on results study that BASIRU digital media is effective can improven competence professional teachers because In BASIRU there are learning videos related Skills teaching teachers in teach literacy read write , book pocket literacy read writing , and teacher self -assessment in teach literacy read write . So that content the can enrich method teach teacher. It is hoped that teachers can think creative in develop self in increase competence professional .

Abstract

The purpose of this development is to develop instruments Early Childhood Naturalist intelligence in East Luwu Regency South Sulawesi Province, valid and reliable. Operationally, this study is to describe (1) the development of instruments Naturalist intelligence Childhood, (2) constructing instruments Naturalist intelligence Early Childhood valid and reliable. This study was conducted in 10 public elementary schools in East Luwu Regency. Conceptually, construct naturalistic intelligence consists of seven dimensions, namely: (1) Sensitivity to nature, (2) ability to identify, classify and distinguish some species in large quantities, including flora, fauna and the environment, (3) The food chain, (4) Love of nature, animals and plants, (5) the ability to distinguish living matter with inanimate objects, (6) Interested in the world of animals or plants, and (7) Care about the environment, pay attention to nature and easily adapts to nature. Based on the review and validation of expert panelists interrater coefficient values obtained for the seven dimensions are reliable. Data analysis using SEM with 8.80 lisrel software model of first order confirmatory analysis. In the first empirical test validation results are 26 items that dropped while in the second stage of empirical testing of all items that as many as 29 items were declared valid. Reliability test results construct empirical tests first and second stages show all dimensions reliable. At GOF size mostly shows a good fit (good fit), so the instrument Naturalist intelligence Childhood in East Luwu regency of South Sulawesi Province has developed a valid and reliable and can be used as a measuring tool that is reliable.
