Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of human resource management (HRM) in enhancing the quality of education at MTs YLPI Ibaadurrahman, focusing on integrating Islamic values into the management system. The objective is to evaluate how effectively HRM practices are aligned with educational goals and the community's expectations. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research gathered data through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research design centered on understanding the impact of HRM practices on educational quality and spiritual development within a madrasah setting. Key findings reveal that HRM at MTs YLPI Ibaadurrahman has successfully improved the educational environment by promoting both academic and spiritual growth among staff and students. However, challenges remain in fully integrating Islamic values into HR management, particularly in performance evaluation and professional development. These findings contribute to the literature by highlighting the importance of contextualizing HRM in religious-based educational institutions. The study suggests that future research could explore mixed-method approaches to quantitatively assess the impact of HRM on educational outcomes. Limitations include the scope of the study, which was confined to one institution, and the reliance on qualitative data, which may limit generalizability. The implications of this research extend to broader educational management practices in Islamic institutions globally.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Erik Erikson's theory of social and personality development within the educational context, which is highly relevant in supporting students' holistic development. The research background is based on the importance of understanding the psychosocial development stages that individuals face throughout their lives, particularly within educational settings. The main objective of this study is to analyze how Erikson's theory can be applied by educators to support students' social, emotional, and intellectual growth. The research methodology employs a descriptive qualitative approach through literature reviews and secondary data analysis from various scientific sources. This study is designed to deeply investigate key aspects of Erikson's theory, such as identity, collaboration, and conflict resolution, as well as how cultural values can influence individual development. The findings indicate that the application of Erikson's theory in education can help educators create learning environments that foster students' identity development, encourage collaboration, and facilitate conflict resolution. The implications of this research are significant for educators in designing a more inclusive curriculum that is responsive to students' psychosocial developmental stages while respecting their cultural diversity and social context.

Abstract

This research aims to explain innovative approaches in character building of students through the development of the local content curriculum of Aswaja (Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah) at SMK Al-Falah Nagreg. The local content of Aswaja is an essential component in Islamic education that aims to integrate Islamic values and teachings of Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah into the school curriculum. This study focuses on how the development of the Aswaja local content curriculum can be an effective tool in shaping students' character. The research method used is qualitative analytical research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results show that innovation in developing the Aswaja local content curriculum can significantly contribute to shaping students' character. Some important findings include: the integration of Islamic values, the development of spirituality, the formation of Islamic identity, the strengthening of tolerance and harmony, and community participation. This curriculum also encourages students' participation in social and community activities oriented towards Aswaja values. This research illustrates the importance of innovation in developing the Aswaja local content curriculum as an effective means in shaping students' character. These results have positive implications for improving the quality of Islamic education and forming a generation with noble character and responsibility in society.

Abstract

This study addresses the stagnation in the teaching methods of Al-Qur'an and Hadith at Madrasah Aliyyah Al-Falah Nagreg, emphasizing the need for innovation. The objective is to analyze the implementation of the Maqomah method, a systematic approach aimed at enhancing the learning materials of Al-Qur'an and Hadith. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive methodology, the research was conducted through literature reviews, classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The design follows a stepwise exploration of the Maqomah method's application and its impact on students’ comprehension. Key findings reveal that the Maqomah method significantly improves students' understanding and internalization of Islamic teachings, contributing to the overall quality of religious education. However, limitations such as time constraints and the specific context of Madrasah Aliyyah Al-Falah may influence the generalizability of the results. Future research should focus on broader applications of the method across different educational institutions and investigate its integration into national Islamic education curricula. The findings of this research provide valuable insights for educators seeking to innovate religious teaching methods in madrasahs and highlight the potential of Maqomah in fostering a deeper engagement with Islamic texts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the design of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Ethics learning and its supporting programs at SMAN 01 Garut, within the framework of the Independent Curriculum implementation. The research approach used is descriptive analysis, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method. The main findings show that PAI and Ethics teachers actively participate in the preparation of various important documents such as syllabi, educational calendars, annual programs, and semester programs, involving all school elements, including committees and parent representatives. This involvement aims to enhance the quality of learning through close collaboration among related parties. This research makes a significant contribution to the literature on the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in senior high schools, particularly in the context of religious and ethical education. However, this study has limitations in terms of the number of respondents and the limited duration of the research. The prospects for developing the results of this study include increasing the use of technology in learning and applying broader collaborative strategies in various school contexts. Further implications indicate the need for ongoing teacher training to optimize the quality of learning and adapt the curriculum to local needs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the management of educational financing at SMP Islam Bakti Asih, where efficient financial management is key to achieving educational goals. The research is motivated by the financial challenges faced by private schools due to limited resources, affecting the quality of education and the welfare of teaching staff. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation on budget planning, fund utilization, and financial oversight. The key findings indicate that the primary sources of funding come from the foundation and government (BOS) funds, which are utilized through detailed budget planning and regular financial audits to ensure transparency and accountability. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of comprehensive and proactive financial management, not only to maintain the school's financial stability but also to enhance the quality of education provided. This study contributes to the literature on educational financial management by providing insights into best practices for managing funds in private schools. Additionally, the limitations of this study include its narrow focus on a single school and the limited number of respondents, which opens opportunities for further research in broader contexts.

Abstract

Religiosity in the context of Islamic religious education can be divided into vertical and horizontal dimensions. A vertical religious atmosphere can be realized through worship activities. On the other hand, a horizontal religious atmosphere links schools more as social institutions, which can be classified based on the structure of relationships between people. The school's efforts to improve students' religious attitudes are carried out through the implementation of Islamic activities. This research uses a literature review method, which involves researching literature and theories that are relevant to the problem being studied. The instrument used is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the literature review analysis, the author will review it in detail in this article, discussing the implementation of student religious development in Senior High Schools (SMA). The implementation of religious diversity in high school students involves systematic efforts such as guidance, providing information, supervision and control. The aim is to improve the quality of students, especially in the religious aspect, in order to form a positive mental attitude and develop good potential. This aims to ensure that students' diversity can develop positively.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Karawang and its impact on achieving educational goals, encompassing the spiritual, academic, and social aspects of students. Against the backdrop of the need to preserve Islamic values amidst the dynamics of changing times, this research aims to analyze the extent to which the implemented curriculum can support the madrasah’s vision and mission in shaping students with noble character. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through documentation and observation. The findings indicate that the curriculum implementation at MAN 3 Karawang has successfully integrated Islamic values into the learning process and student activities, as evidenced by the improvement in their spiritual and moral competencies. The implications of these findings highlight the need for continuous curriculum adjustments to maintain relevance with modern educational needs without neglecting the foundational Islamic values. This research contributes to the development of educational strategies in madrasahs to face contemporary challenges and enhance the quality of Islamic education.

Abstract

The development of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Education curriculum in Senior High Schools (SMA) is crucial amidst increasingly complex social dynamics. This research aims to analyze the curriculum development process of PAI and Character Education, focusing on the implementation of character-based learning methods. The research employs a qualitative approach through literature review to explore relevant theories and concepts. The research design centers on identifying curriculum development principles, including the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The findings reveal that effective curriculum development involves intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, with the primary goal of shaping students with strong moral character and a deep understanding of religion. A holistic curriculum that is relevant to students' needs can strengthen their moral character and mitigate the negative influences from external environments. The implications of this research highlight the importance of collaboration between schools, parents, and the community in developing a PAI curriculum that can address contemporary challenges and prepare young generations to face modern life with integrity.

Abstract

This study indicates that the quality of learning in Indonesia has not met expectations, impacting student achievement, which remains less satisfactory, especially compared to other countries. One contributing factor is the low level of teacher professionalism, particularly in early childhood education institutions. This study aims to analyze the effect of collaboration and cooperation in the professional development of early childhood teachers. The method used is descriptive qualitative, where data is collected without limited categories, allowing researchers to explore specific issues in depth relevant to the research objectives. This study is categorized as library research, where researchers analyze several relevant articles and collect data for further analysis. The results show that collaboration and cooperation significantly influence the development of teacher professionalism. Enhancing teacher professionalism must be carried out continuously in line with developments in science, technology, and society. This approach can be implemented through collaboration techniques, fostering a learning organizational culture, and training activities, both individually and in groups, to improve overall institutional performance.
