Abstract

Arabic is a language that is difficult to learn because of the minimal methods teachers use when teaching, or the difficulty of students focusing when learning Arabic. For this reason, effective teaching media is needed in Arabic language lessons. This research aims to determine the application of crossword puzzle game media to improve vocabulary memorization in teaching Arabic to students at "Jannaturroichan" Middle School in Peterongan Jombang. Therefore, this research applies the crossword puzzle game media. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The qualitative approach focuses on the design, use, management, and evaluation stages, as well as data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation, research reveals that crossword puzzle media in Arabic language teaching has supporting and inhibiting factors. The supporting factors are the quality of teachers who are educative, innovative, and have teaching certificates. And the inhibiting factors are students who lack motivation so they are not enthusiastic about learning Arabic. This study also found that the media of crossword games in teaching Arabic can increase students' enthusiasm for learning because the learning process is exciting and not boring. In this study, the researcher wants to share experiences in the application of crossword game media in teaching Arabic to increase students' vocabulary.Keywords: Cross gaming, Descriptive qualitative, Improved Arabic language

Abstract

Learning is a process in which a person changes his behavior as a result of experience. Therefore, researchers are interested in researching the Institute of Youth Education, Pacul Gowang Jombang. The focus of research in writing this thesis is: (1) How is Surugan Takreer applied in the Youth Education Institute? (2) How do students at the Institute for Youth Education understand Arabic texts? (3) What are the motives and obstacles in applying Surugan Takreer to increase Arabic texts in the Youth Education Institute? The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The study data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and in-depth documentation. While analyzing the data used are Miles and Hubermin's theory which is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. This study also validated the data with expanded participation, continued monitoring, and triangulation of sources and techniques. The search result is (1) Applying the Surugan and Takreer method through the Yellow Book (a) The purpose of using the Surugan and Takreer method will be easier to justify if there are errors. In reading Arabic texts in the Yellow Book (B) Preparation for learning to read Arabic texts by nderes first before Surujan. (c) In practice, students read in front of the teacher and the teacher listens while making corrections. Advantages of the Surujan method: (a) The objectivity of this method, in addition to facilitating reading, is more important for preserving and preserving the reading that the reader possesses (b) Preparing for learning to read the Yellow Book by the repeating method, that is, repeating the reading until it is completely memorized. (c) Application of learning to read Arabic texts in the yellow book, i.e. students present their reading before the teacher so that the teacher can justify if there is an error in the reading. (d) Evaluation is carried out by bringing evidence of stored reading, at which time the teacher gives grades.

Abstract

Third regular students made various forms of Arabic conversation and writing errors when using numbers (‘adad ma’dud). There are as many errors as when using ‘adad ma’dud. Given this situation, few learners make various mistakes when using ‘adad ma’dud for daily conversations or writing. The purpose of this study is to understand the forms and causes of errors, as well as how to solve the problem of students using quantity and counting in Third regular students in the boarding school of tarbiyatul mu’allimin al-islamiyah prenduan. Researchers used qualitative methods and descriptive types to collect data in a triangular manner through observation, interviews, and testing, in order to identify errors made by Third regular students in the boarding school of tarbiyatul mu’allimin al-islamiyah prenduan when using ‘adad ma’dud. The theme of this study is Third regular students in the boarding school of tarbiyatul mu’allimin al-islamiyah prenduan. The last thing about writing this study is that Third regular students made mistakes when using ‘adad ma’dud, and they were unable to distinguish how to use singular and additive numbers, positive numbers, ordinal numbers, and mentioned numbers, Number of women. The reason is that girls lack understanding of quantity, quantity, and its rules, schools lack interest in cultivating girls, students use incorrect learning methods, students have difficulty learning Arabic, and their practice of using Arabic is reduced. The decrease in the number, quantity, and interest of students in using teaching aids in the classroom teaching process, as well as the decrease in students' enthusiasm during the classroom teaching process. The solution is to develop teaching methods, increase the time allocation of learning materials, and develop teaching methods.

Abstract

There are twenty-two countries that use Arabic as their mother tongue, and there are many non-Arab countries that learn the language, one of which is our country Indonesia. In schools in Saudi Arabia, the way they teach Arabic is different from the way they teach in Islamic boarding schools and schools in Indonesia, because of different methods in teaching. The focus of this research study is on the method of teaching Arabic spoken in Saudi Arabia. The research method used is a literature study approach (Libarary Reaseach). The results of the study concluded that in Saudi Arabia there are two types of schools, namely, International and Ahliyah schools whose teaching methods use slightly different Arabic teaching methods, where International schools use six methods, while Ahliyah schools use five Arabic learning methods.

Abstract

Arabic has four language skills. Reading skills (maharah al-qiro'ah) are one of the four skills that are quite difficult for students to master. In this skill, apart from students having to be able to sound out letters and words well, students also have to be able to understand the content of the text they read. To overcome these problems, various efforts are needed in an effective teaching process. The research aimed to improve the reading skills of Class IX students at MTS Tauhidiyah 2 Gondang Bojonegoro using the Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method. The qualitative approach focused on the design, use, management, and evaluation stages. The research revealed that the Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method has both supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include its ability to help students determine sentence positions and translate them, its detailed nature, its ability to understand grammatical rules, and its ability to improve Arabic language abilities. However, inhibiting factors include a lack of time efficiency in learning, students' understanding of sentence meanings, and the difficulty of grammatical analysis. The study also found that the Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method can be challenging for those who don't understand the language, as it may be more about learning about the language than the language itself. Overall, the research provides valuable insights into implementing the Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method in Arabic language education.Keywords: Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method, qualitative approach, Reading skills

Abstract

Vocabulary which is the most important tool in Arabic language education, students can understand Arabic because they have enough vocabulary. Therefore, students' vocabulary mastery has a great impact on Arabic language education. The research questions of this study are: (1) What is the result of "vocabulary mastery" for ninth grade students at Mts "Al- Washoya" Ngoro jombang?. (2) How was the result of "Arabic text reading skills" for ninth graders in MTs" Al-Washoya" Ngoro Jombang? (3) Is there any connection between vocabulary mastery and teaching Arabic text reading skills to ninth graders in MTs "Al- Washoya" Ngoro Jombang?   In this study, a quantitative approach was carried out. The methods of data collection are: test documents and studies. The data analysis method for this study is the Verson (person) test. The results of the study that can be summarized are: (1) the results of mastering the vocabulary of the ninth grade in MTs " Al-Washoya" Ngoro Jombang. (2) As a result of teaching the skill of reading Arabic texts students in the ninth grade in MTs "Al-Washoya" Ngoro Jombang. (3) There is a relationship between mastering vocabulary and teaching the skill of reading Arabic texts to them, and this depends on the results of SPSS using analysis (Verson). From this analysis it is known that the value is 0.000 which means that the value is less than or less than 0.05, so it can be concluded that the null hypothesis HA is rejected and the alternative hypothesis HA is approved.

Abstract

In this research, the researcher paid attention to a learning going on in pondok pesantren Al-Amin Prenduan. In an effort to improving ability of Arabic language student in this boarding school applying various kinds of learning methods, one of them was learning methods with using Arabic as introduction of learning. In an effort to improving student’s skill in using Arabic, every teacher who was teaching must be using a methods or strategy learning, that was one of them  by using Arabic as introduction of learning. Which was made a touched upon in this research towards ability of maharah istima’ (Listening)Students. In this research,  the aim was to find out the effect of Arabic language made as introduction of learning towards  istima’ ability of student  at grade II A Marhalah Tsanawiyah TMI Al-amien Prenduan. In this case the researcher used quantitative approach by type rating scale. Population in this research were at grade II A man that is 26 Student, and the instrument in this research , the researcher used questionnaire and test, questionnaire for variable X and test for variable Y. For data analysis in this research used SPSS, by using  Ttest (simple regression test), which is to dicovered the effect of variable X towards variable Y. After doing the analysis afterwards appeared the result which was 0,05 < 0,05 / 32,069 > 1, 70562, from the result could be drawn conclusion that there was the effect of made Arabic as introduction of learning towards istima’ ability of Student at grade II A man Marhalah Tsanawiyah TMI Al-amien Prenduan. And the strong of effect Arabic as introduction learning  towards istima’ ability of Student at grade II A man Marhalah Tsanawiyah TMI Al-amien Prenduan was in the amount of 7,9% and included into good category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the Quizizz application in learning Arabic to improve maharah Qiro'ah which will be used as a diverse and fun learning alternative that includes planning, use and evaluation. This research is a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods. The data used is in the form of information sourced from second semester students in class B majoring in Arabic Language and Literature, State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. As for the data analysis technique used in this study using the data analysis model developed by Miles & Huberman: namely data collection, condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that this application is very relevant and very supportive for Arabic learning assessment activities, especially in maharoh Qiro'ah. Likewise, with the use of this application, learning outcomes increase which can make it easier for students to understand the material, learning becomes more fun, increasing motivation and interest students and their independence, and students are more active in learning. Although not all of Quizizz's free features can be used as a means of evaluation media and can be complained about with interactive learning materials.
