Abstract

Talking about modernization, modernism, modernity, especially modernity of Islamic thought (al-tajdid) is a matter of serious discussion. These all are western terminologies which were adopted by Muslim modernists into Islamic tradition, and then by the adoption above, contradiction extremely appeared among them. To be noted some of modern thinkers who thought that the traditional interpretation of Islam does not satisfy many people who have received modern education. Some of these modern thinkers go to extreme and would like to exclude all worldly affairs from the purview of Islam. But, if this is done, Islam will lose all its distinctiveness and superiority. In most cases, according to western society the term modernity, modernization, meant to modernize the idea, ideology, trend and to modify the old tradition, form institutions and etc, and then an adjustment to the new situation which created by science development and modern western technology

Abstract

Islam is an all-encompassing religion that provides Muslims with Divine guidance in all spheres of life. However, in Katsina, a predominantly Muslim society, there are emerging innovations associated with funeral rites (janāzah) and mourning of the dead. Such innovations include, among others, competitions among mourners, discriminatory treatment among the mourners, and sniffing and rubbing the head (especially by elderly women) with the textile material that was used in accompanying the corpse to the grave. These innovations contradict the teachings of Islam on funeral rites and mourning. This paper, therefore, investigates the issues, analyzes them and proffer solutions from Islamic perspective. The paper used library and fieldwork methods. In the former, it widely consults relevant works in studying the teachings of Islam on the concept of janāzah. As for the latter, interview was conducted with relevant informants, and information related to origin, nature and effects of the innovations on the life of the Muslims in the study area were obtained. The paper finally emphasizes on the importance of the Islamic teachings on the practice of janāzah and suggested ways to eradicate the innovations associated with death, funeral rite and mourning in the study area. The paper found out that innovations introduced into practice of janāzah by Muslims in Katsina state have affected them religiously, socially and economically. It is concluded that Muslims need to abide by the true teachings of Islam in all aspects of life.

Abstract

Surah ini disebut sebagai surah Al-Anbiya karena menyebutkan nama para nabi melebihi surah-surah lainnya dalam Al-Quran. Terdapat kurang lebih 16 nabi yang diangkat namanya dalam surah Al-Anbiya ini. Di dalamnya menceritakan tantangan dakwah para nabi dalam mengajarkan ajaran tauhid, keislaman/kehanifan, dan keihsanan kepada kaumnya. Artikel ini membahas seputar dakwah para nabi di dalam surat Al-Anbiya’. Mengapa Allah menjadikan nama surat ini Al-Anbiya’. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menjadikan Al-Quran sebagai sumber utama kajian disertai pendapat beberapa mufassirin tentang dakwah para nabi tersebut dan tantangan yang mereka hadapi disertai ibrohnya.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang oengaruh Islam modernis dan kontemporer terhadap pemikiran kritis para tokoh Islam. Di dalamnya membahas hakekat pemikiran kontemporer dan Mengapa terjadi kecenderungan-kecenderungan dalam model pemikiran Islam kontemporer tersebut. Lalu pembahasan akan dilanjutkan dengan memahami bagaimana pengaruh perkembangan pemikiran tersebut terhadap kemajuan social kemasyarakatan dan keagamaan. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang mengkaji berbagai macam literatur seperti buku dan lenelitiqn para tokoh modernis dan kontemporer. Dalam analisanya ada 5 kecenderungan dalam model pemikiran Islam kontemporer menghasilkan pemikiran yang beragam seperti fundamentalis, tradisionalis, reformis, posttradisionalis, dan modernis. Pengkategorian Islam sperti ini seolah ada kepentingan terselubung yang diprakarsai untuk membuat semakin terpojoknya Islam.

Abstract

Islam adalah agama dakwah yaitu agama yang selalu mendorong pemeluknya untuk selalu aktif melakukan kegiatan dakwah . Maju mundurnya umat Islam sangat bergantung dan berkaitan erat dengan kegiatan dakwah yang dilakukannya. Kegiatan dakwah merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh dai dengan menyeru kepada kebaikan dan mencegah dari hal yang mungkar dalam rangka mencapai kebahagiaan di dunia dan di akhirat. . Artikel ini mencoba menjawab bagaimana bentuk-bentuk perencanaan dakwah yang baik dan menghasilkan yang terbaik sesuai tuntutan syari’ah Dan bagaimana bentuk-bentuk pengorganisasian dakwah yang baik Untuk ini metode kualitatif digunakan dengan menganalisa beberapa literatur yang ada sehingga dapat memehami konsep dan pembahasannaya dengan baik. Rosyad Shaleh mengartikan manajemen dakwah sebagai proses perencanaan tugas, mengelompokkan tugas, menghimpun dan menempatkan tenaga-tenaga pelaksana dalam kelompok-kelompok tugas dan kemudian menggerakkan ke arah pencapaian tujuan dakwah. Jika aktivitas dakwah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip manajemen, maka “citra professional” dalam dakwah akan terwujud pada kehidupan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, dakwah tidak dipandang dalam objek ubudiyah saja, Dari Hudzaifah bin Al Yaman dari Nabi shallallahu ''alaihi wasallam beliau bersabda: "Demi Dzat yang jiwaku berada di tangannya, hendaknya kalian beramar ma''ruf dan nahi munkar atau jika tidak niscaya Allah akan mengirimkan siksa-NYa dari sisi-Nya kepada kalian, kemudian kalian memohon kepada-Nya namun do''a kalian tidak lagi dikabulkan.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang konsep dakwah yang terdapat di dalam surat Al-Kahfi ayat 13 s.d 14. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan menggunakan berbagai macam referensi dari buku dan jurnal yang ada, artikel ini mencoba menghadirkan dakwah yang tertera di ayat tersebut. Di dalamnya mengisahkan bagaimana dakwah yang dilakukan oleh pemuda ashabul kahfi, sifat dan juga aktivitas dakwah yang dilakukan sebagaimana digambarkan ayat tersebut dan patut menjadi contoh bagi pendakwah sebagai alternatif metode dakwah yang harus dilakukan.

Abstract

The Foundation is a non-profit legal entity that is widely established in Indonesia, engaged in social and community fields. Foundations get funding from community donations depending on what field the Foundation is engaged in. Foundations in Indonesia are easy to get donations, supported by the Indonesian people who are known to be very generous, this makes Foundations prone to fraud and violations of the law. One of the things that need to be considered in the management of the Foundation is that there is a strict prohibition in the Foundation Law that the Founders and Organs of the Foundation are prohibited from receiving salaries, wages, or honorariums, even the prohibition is threatened with criminal threats. In its activities, Foundations with the receipt of donations or certain amounts of assets are required to have their financial statements audited, and some Foundations have done so. In the audit of financial statements, the auditor uses auditing standards and one of the standards is SA 250 regarding consideration of laws and regulations in the audit of financial statements. When there is a violation of Article 5 of the Foundation Law, the auditor must act as required by Auditing Standard SA 250, and there are different ways of assessing from the law enforcement side of the Foundation Law and from the auditor's point of view of the violation. This paper is different from previous writings which only look at the provision of salaries, wages, and honoraria from a legal perspective, while in this paper it is associated with auditing standards and the code of ethics of the public accounting profession, where the code of ethics regulates considerations of non-compliance with laws and regulations. new client set in Year 2020.

Abstract

Islamic studies (dirosah islamiyyah) should be carried out and developed dynamically like scientific studies in general. But unfortunately on the contrary, Islamic studies seem to have stagnated or not experienced significant progress amidst various social issues that continue to develop. Even when there are Islamic studies conducted by Muslim insiders, they often appear dull and poor in approach and methodology. Islamic studies should be open to the methods and approaches currently being developed. Ibrahim M. Abu Rabi tries to open up this void through his study of the history of Islamic thought and awakens intellectuals so that they fully understand the role and importance of advancing Islamic studies. The scientific opinion is currently being developed. Problems that are increasingly complicated and complex cannot be explained satisfactorily by classical Islamic research theories that rely solely on textual research. According to him, Islamic studies must be open to contemporary scientific disciplines.

Abstract

Da'wah values ​​are very important in the current era of globalization which tends to be destructive. One of the solutions from globalization is, da'wah bil Qalam is like a book. Through books, the values ​​of da'wah can be transmitted because books are a medium for conveying information and ideas from book authors in a comprehensive and in-depth manner. Da'wah bil Qalam through books has become a common thing done by preachers who deliberately write books about how a Muslim addresses life's problems, improves himself, and gains true happiness, such as the book Notes for Myself. The purpose of this research is to find out and describe the da'wah values ​​contained in the book Notes for Myself by Haidar Bagir. The type of research used in this research is library research with a qualitative approach. The primary data sources used were Notebooks for Myself and secondary data sources, namely books, journals, web articles and other literature. The data analysis used was Miles and Huberman's data analysis with data analysis activities: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification.

Abstract

This paper is a contribution and a piece of Da'wah towards enlightening Muslims on the menace of sorcery and sorcerers. The work has highlighted some of the major reasons why some Muslims with weak Iman seek the help of sorcerers for worldly things thereby harming their fellow being. It is therefore, the application of Islamic Da’wah that would assist in reminding Muslims in avoiding the menace of sorcery. It has been discovered from the interview that sorcerers have destroyed many family relationships and created damage to some marriages, also economic backward to sorcery goers. The paper also found out that some sorcery goers do regret their actions after coming in contact with the truth. This study was conducted using a survey method, and data were collected through in-depth interviews. The results of this study showed the need for a sustainable Da'wah to combat the issue of sorcery and sorcerers that have become a menace among Muslims which have affected their Iman. The study recommended that there was an urgent need for engagement of various stakeholders in Nigeria and beyond, to checkmate the issue of sorcerers and their activities in the society.
