Abstract

Pemodelan komputasional semakin penting dalam pembelajaran fisika modern karena mampu menghubungkan konsep abstrak dengan visualisasi fenomena fisika secara dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa melalui integrasi pemodelan komputasional berbasis Python pada materi difraksi gelombang serta mengidentifikasi indikasi awal praktik berpikir komputasional dalam aktivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one-group pretest–posttest dengan melibatkan 15 mahasiswa pendidikan fisika yang mengikuti mata kuliah Gelombang dan Optik. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pemahaman konseptual, lembar aktivitas pemodelan komputasional, dan refleksi mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, paired sample t-test, serta N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 67,50 pada pretest menjadi 71,73 pada posttest dengan perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik (p = 0,012). Nilai N-gain sebesar 0,127 menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman konseptual berada pada kategori rendah. Analisis kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa 73% mahasiswa mengalami perubahan penalaran dari penjelasan deskriptif menuju penalaran berbasis parameter model. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan low-threshold computational modeling dapat menjadi langkah awal yang efektif untuk mengintegrasikan praktik komputasi dalam pembelajaran fisika bagi mahasiswa yang memiliki pengalaman pemrograman terbatas.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning activity of fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Sekuro, which was assumed to be caused by learning models that were less varied and did not sufficiently involve students in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of applying the Jigsaw learning model assisted by Crossword Puzzle media on students’ learning activeness in the IPAS subject. The research employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument consisted of a learning-activeness questionnaire that had been tested to have it validated by an expert validator to ensure its feasibility. The results showed that the average score of students’ learning activeness increased from 65 in the pretest to 83 in the posttest, with a Paired Sample T-Test significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This indicates a significant difference in students’ learning activity before and after the implementation of the Jigsaw learning model assisted by Crossword Puzzle media. This study suggests that the implementation of the Jigsaw learning model assisted by Crossword Puzzle media is effective in IPAS learning because it can enhance students’ active participation, strengthen group collaboration, and create more meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences.

Abstract

The Vocational Training Center, as a government-organized training institution, plays a strategic role in improving workforce competency through computer training programs. This study aims to analyze the Management of the Computer Training Program at the Roudlotul Falaah Srumbung Magelang Vocational Training Center. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study indicate that; it can be concluded that this program has been implemented through a systematic and integrated management approach. The program's foundation is built through a thorough and data-driven planning process. The effectiveness of this program is then supported by structured organization through appropriate resource allocation, clear delegation of authority, and the preparation of an efficient organizational framework. During the implementation stage, this program runs according to theoretical operational standards so as to be able to build ready-to-use technical competencies effectively. The holistic evaluation aspect, encompassing all management functions and learning components, acts as a quality assurance mechanism and a basis for continuous improvement.

Abstract

This article examines multicultural education in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) through a critical analysis of the perspectives of Martin J. Beck Matuštík and Judith M. Green. The study is motivated by the increasing cultural and social diversity of contemporary societies, which requires IRE to move beyond a purely normative orientation toward a more inclusive, dialogical, and justice-oriented approach. Using a qualitative library-based research method, this article analyzes the key works of both scholars and relates their ideas to the foundational values of Islamic education. The findings indicate that Matuštík emphasizes dialogical ethics, moral responsibility, and critical engagement with structural injustice as essential components of multicultural education. In contrast, Green highlights inclusivity, democratic participation, and critical awareness of power relations within multicultural contexts. These perspectives align closely with Islamic teachings that promote justice, compassion, and tolerance as core principles of social life. Therefore, integrating the ideas of Matuštík and Green into Islamic Religious Education can strengthen the development of an educational framework that is responsive to diversity and committed to fostering a harmonious and equitable society.

Abstract

English language instruction at the junior high school level often faces challenges due to the separation of writing and speaking skills, which limits students’ productive communicative competence. This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of the Integrated Writing and Practice Cycle (IWPC) model in improving junior high school students’ writing and speaking skills. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants were eighth-grade students from SMP Muhammadiyah 6 and MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Al-Munawwaroh Malang. Data were collected through classroom observations, questionnaires, interviews, and writing and speaking tests. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were applied to examine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the model. The findings reveal that the IWPC model is highly valid based on expert judgment, practical according to teacher and student responses, and effective in enhancing students’ writing and speaking skills. Learning improvement was indicated by Normalized Gain (N-Gain) scores ranging from moderate to high levels. Qualitative results also demonstrate positive changes in students’ learning behavior, particularly increased writing autonomy, speaking confidence, and active classroom participation. In conclusion, the IWPC model serves as an effective integrative and reflective instructional model for English language learning at the junior high school level and aligns well with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

Contemporary social research increasingly relies on survey research and document analysis, yet these methods face growing challenges arising from digitalisation, cultural diversity, data proliferation, and heightened ethical concerns. Traditional methodological frameworks, originally developed for more stable and homogeneous research contexts, are often ill-equipped to address issues such as declining response rates, interpretive bias, digital exclusion, and the epistemic implications of automated data processing. The purpose of this research is to critically examine survey research and document analysis in contemporary social research and to contribute conceptually to their methodological adaptation and innovation. Rather than generating original empirical data, the research adopts a conceptual and methodological research design grounded in critical-interpretive analysis. It draws on systematic critical engagement with existing methodological, theoretical, and interdisciplinary literature, employing conceptual synthesis and methodological critique as its primary analytical strategies. The findings reveal that many limitations associated with survey research and document analysis stem not only from technical constraints but from underlying epistemological assumptions embedded in standardisation, neutrality, and scale. The analysis further identifies emerging methodological innovations, such as adaptive survey design, AI-assisted document analysis, and reflexive ethical frameworks, as promising but requiring careful governance and contextual sensitivity. The research concludes that methodological renewal in social research must move beyond technical optimisation toward reflexive, inclusive, and ethically grounded approaches. By offering a structured conceptual framework and practical methodological guidance, this research advances methodological discourse and supports researchers in adapting established methods to complex contemporary research environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi strategi One Day One Ayat (ODOA) sebagai model akselerasi tahfiz di Pondok Pesantren Qur’an Tahfidz Centre Lumajang. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif pasif, wawancara mendalam dengan pengasuh dan pengurus, serta studi dokumentasi, yang divalidasi melalui triangulasi sumber. Analisis data mengacu pada model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan ODOA disusun secara adaptif berbasis kesiapan kognitif santri, dengan target satu ayat per hari dan prasyarat kelancaran bacaan Metode Ummi. Pelaksanaan program terintegrasi dengan jadwal akademik melalui tiga sesi setoran harian, pendampingan intensif, dan mekanisme muraja’ah berpasangan yang memperkuat retensi memori. Evaluasi dijalankan secara berlapis, mencakup supervisi harian oleh Kyai, validasi kolaboratif, hingga ujian tasmi’ komprehensif sebagai prasyarat wisuda. Temuan ini mengungkap bahwa ODOA berfungsi sebagai ekosistem pembelajaran terukur yang mengoptimalkan beban kognitif dan menjamin keberlanjutan hafalan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan tata kelola program tahfiz yang terstandarisasi, humanis, dan dapat direplikasi.

Abstract

Inclusive education demands equality of spiritual access, yet prayer learning for Children with Special Needs (CSEN) often still neglects pedagogical design that is responsive to the diversity of students' capacities. This study aims to analyze the implementation of prayer learning transformation for CSEN through an inclusive approach, as well as its challenges and relevance to contemporary Islamic education values. The research method uses an instrumental qualitative case study at SLB Bhakti Wanita Lumajang. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, then processed using an interactive analysis model. The results show that the transformation of prayer learning was successfully realized through differential pedagogical adaptation, non-discriminatory personal assistance, and the creation of an accessible worship ecosystem in the school environment. Despite limitations in adaptive media and teacher competence, the application of multimodal strategies and process-based assessment proved effective in sustainably improving understanding, spiritual motivation, and consistency of worship practice. These findings affirm that worship inclusivity is a real manifestation of maqashid syariah and the principle of rahmatan lil 'alamin. This research fills an empirical gap in Islamic education literature that still lacks structured discussion on the implementation of inclusive prayer learning, offering novelty through the integration of multimodal strategies and process-based assessment that operationally translates the principles of maqashid syariah and rahmatan lil 'alamin into pedagogical practices in schools.
