Abstract

This study developed a web-based information system for the BERSERI, Adiwiyata, Eco-Pesantren, and ProKlim programs at the Banyuwangi Environmental Agency (DLH). Currently, the data collection process has been done manually, resulting in data duplication, delays in reporting, and difficulties in information integration. The method applied is the Waterfall model of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with data collection through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The result of this study is a system design using PHP and MySQL with features for data input, searching, generating automatic reports, and providing integrated storage. This system is expected to improve efficiency, accuracy, and support the digitalization of public services in the environmental sector.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has brought a significant impact on administrative management, particularly in the field of education. Web-based information systems function not only as a medium for presenting data but also as an interactive tool that supports decision-making processes. However, document archiving at MTI Ibrahimy Sukorejo is still carried out manually using agenda books and physical storage, which often leads to issues such as document loss, duplication, and difficulties in retrieving older records. This study was conducted through a Field Work Practice (PKL) using observation and interviews with the administrative office of MTI Ibrahimy Sukorejo. The objective is to design a web-based archival information system to support the recording of incoming letters, outgoing letters, and diplomas. The system was developed using the waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results indicate that the system can accelerate data processing, simplify document retrieval, and reduce the risk of record loss. Thus, it is expected to enhance administrative efficiency and provide tangible benefits for educational institutions

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based information system for the Fire and Rescue Department of Banyuwangi Regency to enhance the effectiveness of the mobile asset checking process. Currently, the process of checking assets such as operational vehicles and fire-fighting equipment is still done manually using printed forms. This manual method causes many issues, including data loss, inaccurate reports, and inconsistencies due to human factors. To overcome these problems, an information system was designed using a systematic waterfall method, starting from requirements analysis and system design with Unified Modeling Language (UML), to the implementation and testing phases. The designed system allows field officers (teams) to digitally report the condition of assets via mobile devices or computers. These reports are then validated by the section head before being forwarded to the head of the department for approval. Thus, this system is expected to be an effective solution to support the operational efficiency of the Banyuwangi Regency Fire and Rescue Department.

Abstract

This project aims to develop a web-based solution that simplifies the submission of POKMAS certification letters for Muslim Communities under the Departement of Social Affairs (Kesra) of Banyuwangi Regency. The system is designed to enhance accessibility, speed up the process, and improve transparency from the application to the approval stage. By using modern technology, the development of this system aims to improve performance and user comfort. The community can submit applications online, which will then be processed by Kesra Banyuwangi through a more efficient an structured workflow. Previously, the submission of certification letters often took a long time and involved many manual steps, but with this system, the process becomes faster and clearer. Additionally, the system provides automatic notifications to both applicants an officers, minimizing delays or oversights. As a result, the manual workload is reduced, and administrative services become faster and more convenient. The system also allows for real-time tracking of application statuses, providing certainty for the public an increasing trust in the services provided. Furthermore, the system can generate periodic reports that help Kesra in evaluating an improving services. Ultimately, this sytem not only makes it easier for the community to access services but also enhances the overall operational efficiency of Kesra Banyuwangi administration.

Abstract

B Banyuwangi Regency, as one of the regions with a strong commitment to the  implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), has developed a Cooperation Sub-Section within the Banyuwangi Regency Regional Secretariat. The system functions to record, manage, and report cooperation data with both internal and external stakeholders. Although it has contributed to the digitization of administration, the system still has several limitations, particularly regarding its outdated user interface and the absence of an online cooperation submission feature. As a result, the process remains partly manual and less efficient. Based on these conditions, this research focuses on analyzing, designing the interface, adding online-based cooperation submission features, and providing more integrated monitoring features. The research employs the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method using a prototype model. It is expected that the resulting system design will be more modern, professional, interactive, and user-friendly, thereby improving the quality of public services, enhancing the government’s digital image, and supporting transparency within the Banyuwangi Regency Government.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have provided significant opportunities to improve the efficiency of various aspects, including learning evaluation in education. This research aims to design and develop a web-based E-Rapor application to support student grade management at the Ibrahimy Sukorejo Madrasah Ta'hiliyah (MTI) Situbondo. The previously manual evaluation process presented various challenges, such as the risk of data errors, processing delays, and a lack of transparency. This application was designed using the Waterfall method, utilizing PHP and MySQL technology to manage data centrally and efficiently. The results show that the E-Rapor application can improve grade management efficiency, facilitate teachers' data recapitulation, and provide transparent online access for students and parents. This implementation supports the Independent Curriculum policy of adopting digital technology in the educational environment. This application is expected to positively contribute to a more effective learning evaluation process and inspire other educational institutions to implement similar innovations.

Abstract

Wahana Indra Komala (19242542), Andri Yansah (19242561), Resti Pebrina (19242563), Implementation of C4.5 Classification Algorithm Customer Review in Transactions at PT. Dapoer Mamih Dapoer Mamih is a company engaged in the culinary field and is committed to providing the best service to its customers. One way to radiate service quality and customer satisfaction is by analyzing customer Reviews. This study aims to classify customer Reviews in transactions using the C4.5 classification algorithm. The C4.5 algorithm was chosen because of its ability to form an effective Decision Tree in handling categorical and numeric data and handling missing data values. The data used in this study came from customer Reviews collected by the company. The analysis process begins with the data preprocessing stage, attribute selection, model training, and evaluation of model classification performance. The results of the study show that the C4.5 algorithm is able to group customer Reviews into certain categories such as positive, neutral, and negative with an adequate level of accuracy. These findings can be the basis for companies to make strategic decisions in improving service quality and customer experience. Abstract

As reliance on cloud computing for data management grows, the issue of user data security when accessing services via public networks is a critical concern. This study investigates the implementation of the free-tier version of ProtonVPN on the Windows operating system as a mechanism to reinforce secure access to cloud platforms. ProtonVPN was selected for its offered high-level cryptographic protocols, user-friendly nature, and zero-cost availability. The methodology involved installation, connection configuration, and access testing on major cloud platforms (Google Drive and OneDrive). Results show that using the VPN effectively obfuscates the user's IP address and secures data traffic through encryption, significantly enhancing protection when interacting with cloud services. Despite limitations such as reduced speed performance and limited server choices, this solution proves efficient in elevating the security posture of cloud computing access on Windows devices.

Abstract

The PPID Web Portal of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of South Sumatra serves as a primary platform for providing public information in a fast and transparent manner. To ensure that the portal truly meets the needs of its users, an evaluation of user satisfaction is required. This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with the portal using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method, which assesses five key dimensions: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 104 respondents who had previously accessed the PPID Web Portal. All research instruments were confirmed to be valid and reliable based on the validity and reliability tests. Regression analysis shows that four variables accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness have a significant influence on user satisfaction. In contrast, the content variable does not show a significant effect, indicating that the information provided on the portal does not yet fully meet user needs or expectations. The simultaneous F-test demonstrates that all EUCS variables collectively have a significant impact on user satisfaction, with an Adjusted R² value of 0.839, meaning that most variations in user satisfaction can be explained by these five variables. Overall, the portal has provided adequate information services, particularly in terms of data accuracy, interface design, usability, and timeliness of updates. Nevertheless, improving the quality of content should be a priority to ensure a more comprehensive and user-aligned information service experience.

Abstract

Administrative services in government institutions require fast, accurate, and well-documented processes. At the Integrated One-Stop Service (PTSP) of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of South Sumatra, the letter numbering process is still carried out manually, resulting in delayed document issuance, numbering duplication, recording errors, and difficulties in tracking and archiving documents. This study aims to design a web-based digital letter numbering information system capable of automating the process of assigning letter numbers, storing digital archives, as well as searching and tracking official documents to improve administrative performance. The prototype method was applied through several iterative stages including identifying user needs, designing system prototypes, collecting user feedback, improving features based on evaluations, and testing functionality. The results show that the developed system can automatically generate structured and non-duplicated letter numbers, store letter archives digitally, accelerate document retrieval through keyword search and preview features, and visualize statistical reports of issuance data through graphical dashboards. Role-based dashboard separation between employees and administrators ensures data security and system flexibility, while the Help and Complaint features support practical feedback and issue reporting. System testing indicated that all functions run well without major errors, suggesting the system is ready for limited implementation. Overall, the digital letter numbering information system successfully improves administrative efficiency, service speed, and supports digital-based public service modernization in PTSP.
