Abstract

In today's digital world, data security is crucial for communication and document storage, especially for text files containing sensitive information. The focus of this research is the use of modern cryptographic algorithms Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) in text file encryption. The research process includes the creation of a prototype application that uses (AES). After developing the prototype, we tested its performance both in terms of processing speed and security level. From there it is known: AES is much more efficient than Vigenère. Vigenère may have strong encryption, but unfortunately it is easily broken by cryptographic analysis.

Abstract

Hotel is one of the service sectors that provides lodging services for the community. In its operations, there are currently several hotels that still carry out the reservation process manually, such as ordering by telephone and recording guest data conventionally. This can hamper service efficiency and accuracy. This research intends to design a web-based hotel room reservation system that can digitize the booking and room management process. The method includes needs analysis, literature study, system analysis, system design with Unified Modeling Language (UML) model, interface mockup, testing, and implementation. The innovations developed include online room reservation features, room data management, and reporting systems. The system was designed using various Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams such as use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and class diagram, along with user interface (UI) design. This research is expected to play an important role in increasing the efficiency of hotel operations, making it easier for customers to make reservations, and minimizing errors in recording booking data.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop and build an online information system for making a Certificate of Inability to Pay (SKTM) to overcome the problem of manual service procedures in Bercak Village. The approach used in building this system is the waterfall model which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, literature reviews, and documentation. Through this system, the community can apply for SKTM online, making it easier for administrators to verify and village heads to issue SKTM. In addition, WhatsApp is also used to send notifications when the letter has been completed. The results of the blackbox test show that each feature runs as expected. This method is believed to be able to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of village administration services.

Abstract

Doa Ibu Rice Agent Shop is a business that focuses on food processing production, especially rice production. However, the sales system at rice agent shops still uses traditional methods. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to design website-based e-commerce that has effective user interaction with the use of e-commerce features that are easy to use and understood by users.  The data collection methods used in this research are interviews, observation, documentation, literature study and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the system development method created is using a prototype. The results of this research are in the form of a website-based e-commerce website at the Ibu Tambaksari Kidul Doa Rice Agent Store. Based on the results of a questionnaire to 10 respondents, the percentage of 78.4% was in the "agree" interval scale, so it can be concluded that the website created was in accordance with what was expected.

Abstract

Ainayah Al Fathiyyah (19210306) Hilmiah (1921030721), UX and UI Analysis of the PKS Faction Aspiration Website Based on the Delone & Mclean Information System Success Model The Aspirasi Information System Website of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) is a digital platform designed to facilitate public participation in conveying aspirations directly to legislative representatives. The success of such an information system is not solely determined by its technical functionality but also by its visual quality, ease of user interaction, and perceived security. This study aims to analyze the influence of website quality, features, and security on user satisfaction, using the DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model combined with User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) principles.This research applies a quantitative approach through a survey method by distributing questionnaires to respondents who have used the PKS aspiration website. The research instrument is based on a Likert scale and includes several independent variables such as design and interface, features and functionality, and information and accessibility, which are analyzed for their influence on the dependent variable, namely user satisfaction. The data analysis techniques used include validity testing, reliability testing, descriptive statistics, and multiple linear regression analysis. This study is expected to contribute to the evaluation and development of public digital information systems, particularly in the context of political aspiration services that emphasize transparency, participation, and user comfort in online interactions.

Abstract

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the healthcare sector in Indonesia, including the number and distribution of healthcare workers. Entering the recovery phase in 2022, various changes occurred in the healthcare employment system, which could affect the number of healthcare workers in different regions, including East Java Province. This study aims to analyze the differences in the number of healthcare workers in East Java between 2022 and 2023 using the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) method. In this study, multivariate normality was tested using Mardia's method, while the homogeneity of the covariance matrix was analyzed through Box's M test. The results of the tests indicated that the data met these assumptions, allowing MANOVA to be properly applied to identify the variables influencing the differences in the number of healthcare workers in East Java. These findings are expected to assist policymakers in designing a more effective distribution plan for healthcare workers.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the Sido Makmur Village information website to improve the quality of public services, expand access to information, and encourage community participation in village development. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis used an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and inductive conclusion drawing. The results showed that the development of the village website had a positive impact on administrative service efficiency, faster information delivery, and increased citizen engagement, particularly among the younger generation. The website also served as a strategic platform for documenting activities, presenting financial reports, and promoting village potential more widely. Despite challenges such as limited digital infrastructure and technical capacity of human resources, the desa-sidomakmur.com website proved to be an innovative solution in strengthening transparent and participatory village governance based on information technology.

Abstract

PT. Indo-Rama Synthetics Tbk is a company that manufactures Polyester Filament Yarns, “Polyester Stapel Fibers Pet Resin:, Polyester Chips and Polyester Filament Fabrics, where the company started commercial production in 1976 with a cotton spinning factory in Purwakarta which has around ± 1000 employees with various departments and positions. However, the leave application system is still manual. Where employees must make a written leave application and follow several processes that must be carried out. The design and development of the employee leave system uses the rapid application development software development method with stages (requirements planning, user design, construction and cutover), the design uses a unified modeling language (UML) with 4 (four) diagrams, namely use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams, program coding using the PHP framework Codeigniter. The results achieved from this study are an employee leave system for employees by providing several existing features including employee information, submission of leave for employees, and other menus. With the web and mobile based system,  it is hoped that it will make it easier for employees to apply for leave.

Abstract

 Scientific writing skills (KTI) and Microsoft Word proficiency are essential for students starting in junior high school. This community service activity aims to improve the student council (OSIS) of Ibrahimy 3 Sukorejo Junior High School's (SMP Ibrahimy 3 Sukorejo) ability to structure scientific papers using Microsoft Word features. The training lasted two hours, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. WIB (Western Indonesian Time), using a demonstration approach and hands-on practice. The activity included a needs survey for participants, material preparation, two training sessions (theory and practice), and evaluations based on interactive quizzes and individual practice. The training materials covered the structure of scientific papers and the use of Microsoft Word features, such as headings, margins, page numbering, and an automatic table of contents. Evaluation results showed that 80% of participants were in the "Good" to "Very Good" category, with satisfaction scores ranging from 3.6 to 3.9 on a scale of 4. These findings indicate that the training was well-received and effective in improving participants' academic literacy and digital skills

Abstract

This study aims to design a LAN network topology that suits the needs and environmental conditions, both at home and in small to medium-scale educational institutions. The methodology used includes hardware requirements analysis, network topology selection, and simulation using software such as Cisco Packet Tracer. The design results show that the use of a star topology for home networks and a combination of star and extended star topologies for schools provide optimal performance in terms of speed, scalability, and ease of maintenance. This design also takes into account aspects of security, cost efficiency, and ease of future development. The development of information technology drives the need for reliable and efficient computer networks, especially in home and school environments. The design of Local Area Networks (LANs) is an important solution in supporting integrated
