Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the topic of "Rules and Safe Play Areas" to enhance science and technology literacy among first-grade students in class 1C at SD Negeri Kauman 1. The research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, conducted in two cycles involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results show that the application of PBL significantly increases student engagement and understanding of science concepts related to safety in play. In the first cycle, students faced challenges in connecting scientific concepts with real-life safety rules. However, improvements were made in the second cycle, where clearer connections were established, leading to better participation and understanding. The study concludes that PBL can effectively improve science and technology literacy in early-grade students.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to enhance the critical thinking skills of grade VI students at SDN Kauman 1 Malang through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on energy topics. This research employs a quantitative approach with a classroom action research design conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were 28 grade VI students of SDN Kauman 1 Malang in the academic year 2024/2025. Data on students' critical thinking skills were collected through written tests in the form of essay questions before and after the action in each cycle. Data analysis was performed using descriptive quantitative methods to observe the improvement in the average critical thinking skills scores of students between cycles. The research results indicate an improvement in students' critical thinking skills after the implementation of the PBL model.

Abstract

Abstract: This classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of gravitational force through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by comic media in class IV SDN Kauman 1 Malang. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through tests, observations, and field notes. The findings showed that students' learning outcomes improved significantly in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, only 42.8% of students reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), increasing to 71.4% in cycle I and 89.3% in cycle II. The use of comic media made abstract concepts more concrete and enhanced students’ engagement. The study concludes that PjBL with comic media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in science subjects. Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' creativity in making persuasive posters using the Canva application through the application of project-based learning (PJBL) models. The subjects of the study were 28 students of class 6C of SDN Kauman 1 Malang City. This study focuses on the development of creative thinking skills, digital literacy, and the ability to convey persuasive messages through visual media. The study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation of the learning process, analysis of poster products produced by students, and interviews with students. The results of the study showed that the implementation of PJBL effectively encouraged increased student creativity, which was reflected in aspects of design uniqueness, clarity and strength of persuasive messages, and attractive visual aesthetics. In addition, the use of the Canva application as a digital media also strengthened students' technological literacy and creativity in the context of 21st century learning. These findings provide important implications for designing innovative learning strategies that combine technology and constructivist approaches, in order to foster students' essential competencies holistically.

Abstract

The purpose of the researcher in conducting the research was to determine the application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) to improve learning outcomes. The procedure used by the researcher in the research was classroom action research with four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The research participants were 32 students of class X MPK 3 SMK Adhikawacana Surabaya. The research data came from the analysis of the average pretest and posttest of students. Through this research, it can be seen that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can help improve learning outcomes, as evidenced by the average pretest and posttest of cycle 1 experiencing an increase in learning outcomes indicated by an average of 60.1 to 80.2. The results of the cycle 1 posttest showed that out of a total of 32 students, 26 of them had completed and 6 had not completed. Cycle 2 also experienced an increase in learning outcomes indicated by the average pretest and posttest values ​​of cycle 2 which increased from an average of 66.2 to 84.1. In the results of the posttest of cycle 2, it was found that of the total number of students, 27 of them had achieved completion and 5 had not achieved completion.

Abstract

This research intends to describe the function of ninth-grade instructors within enhancing students' intrinsic motivation, especially It seems that you have submitted an incomplete phrase context of issues of the digital age like overreliance on social media and online gaming. The study employs a qualitative method using a descriptive approach. Methods for gathering data involve participant observation and detailed interviews with two ninth-grade teachers, and documentation. The findings indicate that teachers engage in a strategic function in fostering students' inner drive to learn through adaptive teaching approaches, purposeful use of technology, and a supportive classroom environment. Teachers also pay close attention to students' emotional and social conditions, establish positive communication, and promote learning awareness through personal engagement. These strategies have proven effective in minimizing the negative effects of media distractions while encouraging students to remain focused and actively involved in learning. Therefore, the role of the teacher extends beyond merely delivering material-they act as motivators who guide students to reach their full potential

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Biologi materi sistem gerak manusia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya dengan subjek penelitian kelas XI MIA. Kelas XI MIA 1 semester I tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dilaksanakan dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 25 orang. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Biologi materi sistem gerak manusia. Alat pengumpul data adalah daftar nilai siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni teknik deskriptif komparatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar pada siklus I masih belum mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Rata-rata hasil belajar siklus I adalah 32,64%. Namun setelah dilakukan tes siklus II terlihat bahwa hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan dan pembelajaran telah mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Rata-rata hasil belajar siklus II adalah 81,8%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Biologi materi sistem gerak manusia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Biologi pada materi Substansi Genetik terhadap siswa kelas XII SMA. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 semester ganjil. Sasaran penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XII MIA 2 sebanyak 26 orang. Tahapan penelitian dilakukan 2 siklus yang dimana disetiap penutup siklus dibagikan tes untuk mengidentifikasi hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian membuktikan pelaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Biologi materi Subtansi Genetik. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan oleh hasil rata-rata tes pada siklus 1 yaitu 69 dan hasil presentase kentutasan siswa 27% sedangkan hasil rata-rata tes pada siklus 2 yaitu 82 dan hasil presentase ketuntasan siswa 81%. Dari data yang didapatkan dari siswa pada siklus 1 dan 2 dapat menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw

Abstract

Abstrak: Kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah menjadi topik perbincangan di berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan. Dengan kemajuan teknologi. Makalah ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam penilaian bahasa. Studi ini menganalisis penelitian terkini mengenai penilaian siswa berbasis AI dan potensi dampaknya terhadap pendidikan yang menerapkan AI, serta metode penilaian kualitas yang digunakan dalam studi penilaian bahasa berbasis AI. Makalah ini menyoroti potensi AI dalam membantu guru dalam penilaian siswa dan memberikan umpan balik. Hal ini juga berkontribusi pada pemahaman tentang bagaimana AI dapat dimanfaatkan dalam penilaian bahasa di bidang pendidikan dan memanfaatkan potensi penuh AI dalam pendidikan. Makalah ini memberikan wawasan berharga mengenai kondisi penelitian terkini dalam penilaian pendidikan berbasis AI. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis AI berpotensi mengatasi keterbatasan metode penilaian tradisional, seperti keterbatasan waktu dan akurasi. Katakunci: Penilaian Bhs. This paper explores the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in language assessment. The study analyzes the current state of research in AI-based student assessment and its potential impact on education where AI is applied, and the quality assessment methods used in AI-based language assessment studies. The paper highlights the potential of AI in assisting teachers in student assessment and providing feedback. It also contributes to the understanding of how AI can be utilized in language assessment in education and harnesses the full potential of AI in education. The paper provides valuable insights into the current state of research in AI-based educational assessment. The findings suggest that AI-driven approaches have the potential to overcome limitations in traditional assessment methods, such as time contraints and accuracy. Abstract

ujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu, mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis tulisan peserta didik berdasarkan hasil ulangan harian pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar serta mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis lisan peserta didik berdasarkan hasil ulangan harian pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deksriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Pengambilan subjek menggunakan purposive sampling dari nilai tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Enam subjek terpilih dengan ketentuan dua subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi, dua subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis sedang, dan dua subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Kemampuan komunikasi matematis tulis untuk subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi memenuhi lima indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis tulis, subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis sedang memenuhi tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis tulis dan subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis rendah memenuhi dua indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis tulis. (2) Kemampuan komunikasi matematis lisan untuk subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi tinggi mampu memenuhi lima indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis lisan, subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi sedang mampu memenuhi empat indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis lisan, dan subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis rendah hanya mampu memenuhi tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis lisan.
