Abstract

In the process of health care, serving patients who seek treatment is very important. Service must be done very quickly. In order for the service process to be carried out quickly, a simulation is needed in the service queue process. Monte Carlo simulation is a queue simulation that is very suitable to be applied in this service process. Because of this Monte Carlo simulation, the calculation uses mathematical theory to process the completion of each patient service queue. So that the queue service process can be calculated more accurately and minimally from errors. Monte Carlo simulation can also be done manually by using calculations in Ms. Excel and can also be made in the form of an application that is easy to apply. With this monte carlo simulation, information is obtained for the calculation process of each queue in patient care can be done quickly and the errors caused in each calculation process are very minimal. The results of the information that will be obtained from this simulation are the average time for patient service to come to be served, the average time for patient service in the queue system until the patient is finished being served. It can be concluded that this Monte Carlo simulation is suitable to be applied to the Patient Queue System Service System Using Monte Carlo Simulation at the Bertha Primary Clinic.

Abstract

Every business is expected to at the very least know how much it spends on capital, how much it makes in profits, and how much it spends on operating expenditures. As a result, business owners can assess the capability of their organization and make development plans for it based on the data that is recorded. Empowering Medium-Sized, Small-Sized, and Micro-Enterprises (MSMEs) is crucial for the economy. MSME development calls for a comprehensive and ecosystem-wide strategy that addresses at least six factors: policy, market access, human resource capability, assistance, and culture. Combining these six elements and boosting MSME development initiatives even more depends on digitalization. The Paluh Manan Village community of UMKM performers is the service's intended audience. Ten people participated in the dedication function, which was held on November 8, 2022, at Paluh Manan Village. According to the evaluation's findings, this community service project's outcomes and advantages included helping participants learn how to create simple financial reports on Android for use in their day-to-day operations.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 2 is one of the State Junior High Schools located in Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. This school has approximately 20 teaching teachers. The school is located at Jalan Pasar 2, Tandam Hilir II Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. Because it is a little far from the city, the development of technology in terms of teaching is still little known. Merdeka Learning is a policy program from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud RI) which was launched by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia for the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, Nadiem Anwar Makarim. The essence of freedom of thought, according to Nadiem, must be preceded by teachers before they teach it to students. Nadiem said, in the competence of teachers at any level, without a translation process of the basic competencies and existing curriculum, there will never be any learning that takes place. For this reason, the institution forms a team that will provide material on making moving animations for training at the school. The author as one of the presenter team uses power point slides in the form of presentations, direct practice of accessing the independent learning web application using each teacher's account. From before, the understanding to access and use the independent learning modules for approximately 20 teachers who attended the training was only 10%, but after attending the training it increased to 80%. Understanding is obtained by doing upload module tests, create classes, create quizzes and exams, and also absent students to teachers after being given the training. The training carried out by the Main Potential University Institution team is also an embodiment of the Lecturer's Tri Dharma, namely Community Service.

Training on the Utilization of Microsoft Excel software applications in Processing Student Attendance and Money Management is a spreadsheet processing application program which is one of the most popular computer programs used today. MS Excel has complete facilities and features for data processing purposes. Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) aims to produce graduates who are ready to enter the workforce independently as entrepreneurs (entrepreneurs). For this reason, entrepreneurial characteristics in vocational schools need to be conditioned both through intra-curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The application of entrepreneurial character in SMK can be done through learning activities. The method is carried out in the classroom using slides and presentations in front of the room. Based on questions and answers and direct observation during the activity, this community service activity yielded the following results: Students at SMK Mayjend Sutoyo SM Medan understand the interest and spirit of entrepreneurship to become strong entrepreneurs. Several factors that support the implementation of this community service activity are the amount of interest and enthusiasm of the participants during the activity, so that the activity takes place smoothly and effectively. Based on the analysis of the results of the activity, several things can be concluded, such as: knowledge and understanding of students about the interest and spirit of entrepreneurship at SMK Mayjend Sutoyo SM Medan as a solution to giving birth to strong entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Technology is becoming increasingly inseparable from daily human life, including accessing information related to learning in school. Students are often asked to actively participate in learning by completing assignments using the internet. Unfortunately, the development of the internet also brings negative impacts. Various criminal dangers are also growing through the internet media. This training aims to provide an understanding to students of SMA Nurul Hasanah about the dangers and negative effects of the internet, as well as how to use the internet in a healthy and appropriate manner.

Abstract

The ability to communicate using English is very important in supporting English language learning. Duolingo application is an application that is very helpful in providing new experiences for students to be directly involved in learning activities. Duolingo application effectively increases students’ vocabulary mastery with features and online tests that support students’ vocabulary mastery. Target of this service activity is students of Amalyatul Huda Junior High School. Method of implementing activities is through delivery of material and usage of Duolingo and then doing tests. Results indicated that there was an increase in students' vocabulary mastery using Duolingo application through questionnaires and test. Questionnaire results show that 92% of students understood to use Duolingo application. Students' test results show that average score of students' vocabulary mastery is 80 points. From results, it can be concluded that the use of Duolingo application can improve students’ vocabulary mastery of Amalyatul Huda Junior High School.

Abstract

In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the development of technological advancements is transforming increasingly sophisticated. The involvement of technology is felt from various aspects of activities and services that utilize information systems through the implementation of using a system. It becomes a threat that creates a crime that places a target on the security of personal data. So that provision and a strong foundation are needed to ensure the integration of data security and confidentiality in responding to threats of attacks and exploitation of information system security from irresponsible parties. Cryptography is a science that studies security techniques in information consisting of various algorithms such as ROT13 and Caesar Cipher. This study used the observation method through community service conducted at SMKN 13 Medan, literature study and mixed methods. The results of this study are able to provide an understanding regarding the security of students' personal data by optimizing the use of the ROT13 and Caesar Ciper algorithms. Through this research, it is hoped that it can become a source of reference on the importance of understanding personal data security so as to increase anticipation of information system security concerning personal data

Abstract

Information technology is very developed in society, generally information technology is a technology that is used to manage data, process, store and manipulate data in various ways and procedures to produce quality and high-value information. Such technology is needed by SMK Tarbiyah Islamiyah Harapan Mekar Schools. It is school's hope to process new student data so that it can be stored in a database and make it easier for the school to carry out the process of registering new students. Manual or conventional registration systems that use physical forms are considered ineffective and efficient, many obstacles are faced including: requiring a lot of paper, prone to making mistakes or writing cannot be read, requires a lot of storage space, and takes a long time to find the desired data. This information system is also designed to assist the public in obtaining information about the SMK Tarbiyah Islamiyah Harapan Mekar School. This information system is designed on a mobile basis where using a mobile can make it easy for students, teachers and the public to find information anywhere and anytime. Because of this, the author carried out the activity of creating a school information system with students at the SMK Tarbiyah Islamiyah Harapan Mekar School. The Students have good will and competence in carrying out activities for making school information systems. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants and the success in carrying out these activities. It is hoped that this activity can improve the ability of students to create school information systems, especially those used as promotional media

Abstract

Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage does not yet have a computerized system for managing daily and monthly financial reports. Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage still uses paper media in making financial reports, this causes the financial reports owned by Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage to be irregular. Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage also does not know how much their monthly expenses and income are. The paper media used to record financial statements is also vulnerable to several things, such as getting wet, torn, dirty, and also burning. The preparation of financial statements is basically used to provide information about the condition of an entity that will be useful to the majority of users of financial statements and to meet the needs of internal and external parties of an entity. At present, financial reports have been compiled in digital form so that it can make it easier for business people to view and check the financial reports of the business units they own. Financial reports made in digital form can be processed easily by users. In addition, financial reports that are created digitally can also be stored properly because they do not require a physical form, can be duplicated quickly, and can be accessed from various gadgets. Based on some of the problems described above, the servant wants to carry out a community service activity at Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage. The activities carried out are training on the use of Microsoft Excel in managing financial reports.
