This study aims to analyze the relationship between family function and anxiety of GGK patients undergoing Hemodialysis in the Hemodialysis Room of a Hospital in Malang. Observational design: The respondents were all HD patients in the Hemodialysis Room of the Hospital in Malang, totaling 80 respondents determined by purposive sampling. Data were collected by questionnaire. Data analysis using Spearman Rho test. The results showed a significant relationship between family function (p=0.002 or p<0.05)x and anxiety level. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between family function and the anxiety level of hemodialysis patients. It is recommended that nurses facilitate forming family groups of patients with GGK to build communication networks, mutual support, and information bridges with health workers.

Abstract

Chronic renal failure is a condition of progressive decline in kidney function over months or years. The final stage of chronic renal failure is often referred to as End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). If a patient has developed a severe stage of chronic renal failure, temporary therapy in the form of dialysis or hemodialysis is required to maintain their life. A major problem that contributes to hemodialysis failure is the problem of client compliance. This study aimed to determine the effect of Hemodialysis Program Education on Patient Compliance Undergoing Hemodialysis at Lavalette Hospital Malang. This study used a pre-experimental design method with the type of pre-test and post-test one-group design. With a total sample of 20 respondents. The results showed that most of the respondents in the Hemodialysis Room of Lavalette Hospital Malang City had moderate compliance before being given education, as many as 16 respondents (80%). Most of the respondents in the Hemodialysis Room of Lavalette Hospital Malang City had moderate compliance after being given education, as many as 13 respondents (65%). The Wilcoxon test results obtained a p <0.05, namely p = 0.002, which means that there is an Effect of Hemodialysis Program Education on Compliance Following the Hemodialysis Program at Lavalette Hospital Malang. It is recommended that HD nurses create a WhatsApp group as a medium for delivering information and can help remind patients to carry out the hemodialysis program when not at the dialysis center (at home) to increase compliance and improve the quality of life of patients undergoing HD.

The results of the data analysis showed the effectiveness of health education using leaflets on dietary compliance of hypertension patients at the heart disease polyclinic of Gatoel Hospital, Mojokerto, as evidenced by the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test which showed that p value = 0.005 or <α (0.05) so that H1 was accepted. The conclusion of the results of this study is that health education using leaflets is effective. Hypertensive patients are expected to implement a hypertension diet so that blood pressure can be controlled.

Abstract

Compliance with hypertension treatment is important because hypertension is an incurable disease but must always be controlled or managed so that complications that can lead to death do not occur. This study is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional study design. The researcher used a cross-sectional design because in this study, observation or measurement of variables was carried out at a predetermined time with a population of 757 respondents. The sampling used in this study was purposive sampling with a sample size of 30 respondents. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the last level of education factor with a sig value of 0.000), f age factor with a sig value of 0.016, duration of hypertension with a sig value = 0.000, has a relationship with compliance in undergoing hypertension treatment. Compliance is a form of behavior that arises as a result of interaction between health workers and patients so that patients understand the plan with all its consequences and agree to the plan and carry it out. Hypertension treatment is a long-term treatment, maybe even lifelong, treatment using standard triple therapy (STT) is the basis for hypertension treatment. The goal of hypertension treatment is to reduce morbidity rates so that efforts to find antihypertensive drugs that meet expectations continue to be developed.

Abstract

Mental disorders are behavioral patterns that are usually accompanied by symptoms of limitations or disorders in one or more of the main human functions, such as psychological, behavioral, biological, or disruptive functions that involve interaction with others or with the community. This study is a case report with a nursing care management approach that includes assessment, data analysis, formulating nursing diagnoses, interventions, implementation and then evaluation. This family nursing care is provided based on Evidence-based Nursing Practice after determining the diagnosis based on the assessment data, then the intervention is prepared by reviewing several literatures that report on murottal therapy for clients at risk of violent behavior. The results of the literature review are then applied to nursing care. The collection of nursing care data was carried out using an assessment form and interviews. After murottal therapy was carried out 3 times within a period of 3 days, before the intervention, Mr. M had a threshold score of 5. The higher the threshold score, the more the anger level peaks and is uncontrollable. After murottal therapy, the anger threshold score was 1. The results of the application of murottal therapy in nursing care with patients who have a risk of violent behavior show that murottal therapy can have an impact or increase anger control.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the education sector, leading to the adoption of online learning through various applications. Online learning can affect learning interest, which can cause boredom in adolescents. Parenting patterns influence the sustainability of the online learning process, especially in children's interest and motivation in forming learning habits. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and adolescent learning interest in the online learning process amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The research methodology employed in this study is a correlational analysis survey using a cross-sectional approach, and the sample was selected using simple random sampling. The study involved 93 respondents, including parents and adolescents aged 13-18 years, from Wirokerten Village, Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency, the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research data analysis used the eta correlation test and was interpreted using the Pearson correlation coefficient scale. The study findings revealed a weak relationship between the two variables, with the eta correlation test results ranging from 0.213 to 0.261. In conclusion, this study affirms the existence of a relationship between parenting patterns and adolescents' learning interests in the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is suggested that future researchers focus on exploring factors that influence parenting patterns, such as cultural and environmental factors, in the psychological development of adolescents. Additionally, analyzing cross-data between parenting patterns and psychological factors, as well as considering the perspectives of both parents and children, could provide valuable insights for further research.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a non-natural disaster that can have an impact on mental and psychosocial health and can be experienced by all groups, especially adolescents. Adolescence is a transitional stage from childhood to adulthood where adolescents experience many psychological, social, and biological changes at this stage. In addition, adolescence is a vulnerable age stage and is very at risk of emotional and behavioral problems because it is in the development stage. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on increasing anxiety problems, sleep disorders, social isolation, depression, and stress experienced by adolescents. This is because the COVID-19 pandemic has forced adolescents to limit social interactions with friends of the same age, causing adolescents to interact a lot online, and adolescents have to be sent home to avoid the spread of COVID-19, limited activities outside the home, frustration, boredom, fear of infection, and inaccurate information about COVID-19. Based on the description above, researchers want to see the actual phenomenon to obtain data related to changes in adolescents' mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in Samarinda.
