Abstract

Background: The quality of the hospital as an institution that produces health service technology products, of course, also depends on the quality of medical services and services provided to patients. Nurses are health service providers who provide 24-hour care. This also shows that the time spent by nurses to interact with patients is the most compared to other health workers. Therefore, therapeutic communication, attitudes and performance of nurses in the profession are very important in maintaining patient satisfaction. Purpose: The aim of the research is to find out the relationship between therapeutic communication and nurse performance attitudes towards patient satisfaction in the internal care room at the Lansinrang General Hospital, Pinrang Regency in 2022. Method: This type of research is a quantitative study using the correlation method, namely connecting between two variables in a situation or group of subjects using Cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used propulsive sampling with a total of 60 respondents. Collecting data using a research questionnaire. Chi-square test analysis with a significance level of α=0.05. Results: The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between nurse therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction with ρ=0.000 < α = 0.05, there was a relationship between nurse attitudes and patient satisfaction with ρ= 0.000 <α= 0.05 and there was a relationship between nurse work and patient satisfaction with ρ=0.000 < α = 0.05. Disscusion and Conclusion : Then we can translate that there is a relationship between therapeutic communication, attitude and performance of nurses on patient satisfaction in the internal treatment room of the Lansinrang General Hospital, Pinrang Regency, in 2022.

Abstract

Background: Tanaman kopi robusta (Coffea canephora Pierre ex A. Froehner) tergolong dalam famili rubiaceae, daun kopi robusta teridentifikasi mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin, kuinon, steroid, triterpenoid dan kumarin. Senyawa fenolik lain dalam daun kopi adalah asam klorogenat. Kandungan asam klorogenat pada kopi robusta jauh lebih tinggi daripada jenis arabika. Purpose: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daun kopi robusta (Coffea canephora Pierre ex A. Froehner) dapat diformulasikan ke dalam bentuk sediaan lotion yang pada konsentrasi tertentu dapat memberikan kelembaban kulit dan tidak menimbulkan iritasi. Method: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental, memakai bahan uji daun kopi robusta (Coffea canephora Pierre ex A. Froehner). Ekstrak etanol daun kopi robusta diformulasikan dalam sediaan lotion dalam konsentrasi 1%, 1,5%, 2%, dan 2,5%. Evaluasi mutu fisik sediaan meliputi uji homogentitas, uji tipe emulsi, pengukuran pH sediaan, uji stabilitas sediaan, uji kesukaan, kemudian dilakukan uji iritasi dan uji perbandingan kemampuan sediaan lotion dalam melembabkan kulit sukarelawan dengan menggunakan alat Skin moisturizer detector (SG-7DÒ). Results: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daun kopi robusta (Coffea canephora Pierre ex A. Froehner) dapat diformulasikan kedalam sediaan lotion merupakan sediaan homogen dengan tipe emulsi minyak dalam air (M/A), stabil selama penyimpanan 12 minggu, serta dalam konsentrasi 2,5% memiliki kelembaban 48,8% hampir mendekati lotion pembanding (Marina) dengan kelembaban 50,1% termasuk kategori “lembab”. Discussion: Lotion ekstrak etanol daun kopi robusta (Coffea canephora Pierre ex A. Froehner) memiliki pH sesaat setelah dibuat sebesar 5,5-5,9, dan pH setelah 12 minggu 5,4-5,8. Dan hasil uji kesukaan terhadap sukarelawan formula B (1%) dan formula C (1,5%) memiliki nilai dengan kategori “Suka” sedangkan formula D (2%) dan formula E (2,5%) memiliki nilai dengan kategori “Cukup Suka”. Conclusion: Formulasi sediaan lotion ekstrak etanol daun kopi robusta (Coffea canephora Pierre ex A. Froehner) tidak menimbulkan iritasi pada kulit.

Abstract

Background: The Lolofitu Moi Inpatient Health Center UPTD is one of the Community Health Centers (UKM) in Lolofitu Moi District which has a working area of 4 (four) villages. In addition to services inside the building, the Lolofitu Moi Inpatient Health Center UPTD also provides services outside the building, namely UKM (Community Health Efforts) services. One of the UKM services that is routinely carried out is Posyandu services. In terms of services at Posyandu, the Lolofitu Moi Inpatient Health Center UPTD is inseparable from weaknesses and shortcomings. The community complains about the attitude of nurses who do not respond to patient complaints, sometimes they are not friendly and uncommunicative, the team of nurses in out-of-building services is lacking, they often arrive late at the Posyandu, the confidence of nurses in taking action is still lacking, for example when administering immunization injections some are a bit doubtful, the creativity and independence of nurses' actions at Posyandu also still need to be improved. Purpose: to find out how the Soft Skills of Nurses are in UKM services in the work area of the UPTD Lolofitu Moi Inpatient Health Center. Method: This research is a qualitative research with a grounded research approach. Location The research was conducted at Posyandu in the working area of ​​the UPTD Lolofitu Moi Inpatient Health Center. The research samples were mothers carrying babies immunized at Posyandu, village heads and Posyandu cadres and nurses on duty at Posyandu. Sampling was carried out by means of purposive sampling and the method of data collection was through focused group discussions, in-depth interviews and observation. Results: Nurse's soft skills applied in UKM services in the working area of ​​the Lolofitu Moi Inpatient Health Center UPTD include team work, therapeutic communication, discipline, self confidence, honesty and integrity, strong work ethic, creative and independent. Of the 8 components of nurse soft skills that are applied, team work, honesty and integrity, strong work ethic, creative and independent are the dominant soft skills nurses practice and what has not been done optimally are therapeutic communication, discipline and self confidence Disscusion and Conclusion: The soft skills of nurses in UKM services in the working area of ​​the Lolofitu Moi Inpatient Health Center UPTD that are dominantly practiced are team work, honesty and integrity, strong work ethic, creative and independent. Nurse's soft skills which include therapeutic communication, discipline and self-confidence have not been optimally applied.

Abstract

Background: Antenatal Care during pregnancy aims to detect the occurrence of high risk of pregnancy, labor and also reduce maternal mortality and monitor the condition of the fetus. Based on data of ANC in 2016 at Health Center Blangkejeren Gayo Lues Regency K1 = 82% and K4 = 78%, while target of Minimum Service Standard about health according to Minister of Health Decree no. 43 years 2016, K1 = 100% and K4 = 95.9%. This can be prevented by regular pregnancy checks to detect risks. Purpose: The purpose of this study is the relationship of maternal attitude attitudes and access with the visit of pregnancy examination in Puskemas Blangkejeren Gayo Lues District. Method: The type of research used is analytic with cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all 3 trimester pregnant women at Blangkejeren Community Health Center of Gayo Lues Regency obtained in September 2017 as many as 311 people. The sample of this research is 75 people by using accidental sampling technique. The collection of research instruments in the form of questionnaires. Results: Data analysis was tested by chi-square knowledge of pregnant mother of majority good (52%), attitude of majority of positive (66,7%) and access of majority service easy to reach as much (64%). There was a correlation between pregnant women's knowledge with prenatal visit (p = 0,030) p <0,05, there was correlation between attitude of pregnant mother and pregnancy visit (p = 0,008) p <0,05, p = 0,011) p <0,05. The result of analysis using multiple logistic regression is known that most influential to visit of pregnancy examination that is attitude with value p = 0,004 and OR 4,571. Disscusion and Conclusion: For puskesmas it is suggested to improve counseling to pregnant mother about pregnancy test.

Abstract

Background: Health services are an important factor in improving the health and welfare of every human being throughout the world. Good health services are a community need and often become a benchmark in the success of development. Patient satisfaction in assessing good service quality is an important measurement that is fundamental to service quality. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to patient satisfaction with services at the Titi Papan Health Center, Medan Labuhan District. Method : The design of this study uses descriptive analysis with a cross sectional approach. The population is all new patients who come for treatment at the Titi Papan Health Center in August-September 2017. The sample in this study is 115 respondents who come for treatment at the Titi Papan Health Center which is determined by the case accidental sampling technique. Results: The results of the study were analyzed with SPSS using the chi square test. The results showed that the majority of patients' perceptions of services at the Puskesmas were good and the majority of patients' satisfaction with services at the Puskesmas were satisfied. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a relationship between direct evidence (p=0.000), reliability (p=0.000), responsiveness (p=0.000), assurance (p=0.000), and empathy (p=0.000) with patient satisfaction. Disscusion and Conclusion : The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy with outpatient satisfaction at the Titi Papan Health Center. Suggestions to the Puskesmas for the future can compile and adopt policies to make it easier for services in an effort to improve the quality of Titi Papan Health Center health services.

Abstract

Medication for the exposure to HIV infection is antiretroviral (ARV) therapy which means that curing HIV can be done by some medicines. ARV does not kill virus; it can only slow down its growth. The objective of the research was to analyze the correlation of knowledge and family support with adherence to ARV therapy in HIV/AIDS patients. The research used cross sectional design. It was conducted at RSUD dr. Pirngadi, Medan. The population was 743 patients treated by ARV from January until June, 2018, and 90 of them were used as the samples. The data were gathered by distributing questionnaires, processed by starting by editing, coding, entry, and cleaning the data, ad analyzed by using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with chi square test. The result of the research showed that there was the correlation of knowledge (p = 0.001) and family support (p = 0.001) with adherence to ARV therapy in HIV/AIDS patients. It is recommended that HIV/AIDS patients adhere to and spend their time in having ARV therapy according to doctors’ orders and not postponing the schedule of ARV therapy.

Abstract

Purpose: Corona Virus or COVID-19 is a large family of viruses that can cause pain or death in humans, the virus was first reported in December 2019 in wuhan city, China and spread to other countries starting in January 2020. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship of knowledge and attitude with the prevention of the spread of covid 19 in krakatau market area medan by 2020. This type of research is analytical research to find out the relationship of knowledge and attitude with prevention of the spread of covid-19 in the Community at Pasar Pendidikan, Medan Perjuangan District in 2020. Method: This research was conducted in the working area of krakatu market. The study was conducted during August 2020. The population of this study is the sales in the Community at Pasar Pendidikan, Medan Perjuangan District in 2020 as many as 90 respondents. Research samples are conducted with a total sampling technique that is the entire population used as a research sample. Processing using editing, coding and tabulating and data analysis of univariate and bivariate using Chi-square test. Results: The results of the study have a link between knowledge and covid-19 prevention measures in the community at the Pasar Pendidikan in Medan Perjuangan sub-district in 2020 with a value of p =0.000< 0,05. There is a relationship between attitudes and covid-19 prevention measures in the community at Pasar Pendidikan in Sub-District, Medan Perjuangan District in 2020 with a value of p = 0.002 < 0,05. Disscusion and Conclusion: Advice for sales needs to be aware of sales to adhere to health protocols in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic with behavior changes namely using masks, physical distancings and healthy and clean living behaviors. In addition, the importance of the role of socialization and monitoring health officers in the community in the prevention of COVID-19. For tax officials, it is best for officers to pay more attention to sales people, especially reminding officers to follow health protocols to avoid covid-19

Abstract

Purpose: The research was conducted to determine the miss management of the supply of pharmaceutical drugs in Gunungsitoli Nias Hospital. Method: This research is a type of case study qualitative research. The informants from this study were the head of the pharmaceutical warehouse, the pharmacy warehouse officer and the head of the Farmasai Installation as the validity of the data. Data collection techniques in research use observation and in-depth interviews. Results: The results of this study found that the process of managing drug supplies in Gunungsitoli Regional Public Hospital was due to problems due to frequent out of stock of drugs caused by delays in delivery from providers, increased use of drugs by doctors to patients, changes in occupation by doctors, empty medicine needed in the market and location distant geographical. The stock of drugs that are often erratic is caused by several causes, one of them is the length of time the items ordered and the empty drugs needed on the market are empty. Disscusion and Conclusion: Conclusions from the results of interviews obtained from informants that if the stock of drugs in the hospital is exhausted, the hospital will offer drugs with the same class, effects and content almost the same but the name is different to the patient. Based on observations by researchers, most pharmacists offer patients without contacting a doctor. If this continues to eat it will have a hazard for patients, doctors and hospitals.

Abstract

Salah satu penyulit dalam persalinan adalah kala I yang berlangsung memanjang. Proses persalinan kala I dapat dikatakan memanjang ketika melebihi 24 jam pada primigravida dan 18 jam pada multigravida, dimana kontraksi uterus atau his tidak adekuat sehingga dilatasi serviks menjadi lambat dan persalinan membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Penyebab utama terjadinya kala I memanjang adalah his tidak adekuat yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor 3 P (Passage, Power dan Passanger) yang merupakan faktor utama dan 4 P (Posisi, Psikis, Plasenta dan Penolong) yang merupakan faktor pendukung dalam persalinan. Komplikasi yang ditimbulkan dari persalinan kala I memanjang pada ibu perasaan gelisah, lelah, yang mengakibatkan ibu tidak kuat mengejan pada kala II. Pada akhir persalinan beresiko menyebabkan ruptur uteri, robekan jalan lahir, dan cidera otot-otot dasar panggul, hingga adanya perdarahan yang dapat merenggut nyawa ibu. Pada janin mengalami asfiksia karena kekurangan oksigen dan meminum air ketuban yang bercampur mekonium. Kepala janin mengalami trauma yaitu adanya caput succedaneum akibat penekanan yang lama di dasar panggul. Persentase kejadian persalinan lama di Indonesia yang menyebabkan AKI sebanyak 16% dan AKB sebesar 9% sesuai hasil Survei Kesehatan Rumah Tangga (SKRT) tahun 2012. Asuhan kebidanan yang diberikan pada Ny ”S” dengan partus kala I memanjang menggunakan pendekatan manajemen Hellen Varney dan Subjektif, Objektif, Assesment, Planning (SOAP) bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor resiko yang menyebabkan terjadinya partus kala I memanjang dan penatalaksanaan yang tepat terhadap kasus.

Abstract

Purpose: One of the risk factors for maternal mortality and morbidity is the undetected danger signs during pregnancy due to irregular ANC visits. The coverage of health services for visits by pregnant women K1 and K4 at the Berastagi Health Center has not reached the target set by the Karo District Health Office. Based on data for the last 3 months at the Berastagi Garden Health Center in 2019, the coverage of ANC services with the target number of pregnant women was 1158 (100%) (K1 and K4), namely in April K1 87 (7.5%) and K4 81 (7.0%), in in May KI 82 (7.1%), K4 80(6.9%), in June K1 80 (6.9%) K4 79 (6.8%). This coverage has not yet reached the minimum district/city health service standards. This study aims to determine whether "Determinants of Utilization of Antenatal Care Services by Pregnant Women at the Berastagi Health Center in Karo District in 2019". Method: This study used the Cross Sectional method with an analytical survey, with a total sample of 71 people. This study used the chi-square test data analysis method to determine a significant relationship between knowledge, husband/family support and health worker support. Results: The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge, husband/family support (p=0.000), and health worker support (p=0.001) towards the utilization of antenatal care services where the p-value is below 0.05. Disscusion and Conclusion: In response to this, it is suggested to health workers, especially midwives, to remain active in providing support and motivation as well as counseling about the benefits of routine prenatal checks for pregnant women so that pregnant women have the willingness to have their pregnancies checked at the puskesmas.
