Abstract

SMA Ibrahimy 1 adalah sebuah institusi pendidikan yang bernaung di bawah Pondok Pesantren, dan saat ini masih mengalami kendala dalam pemanfaatan serta perkembangan teknologi informasi. Keterbatasan dalam pembaruan teknologi berakibat pada rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam beradaptasi dengan sistem dan teknologi informasi yang terus berkembang. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia digital dengan mengadakan seminar teknologi, terutama mengenai penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel adalah salah satu perangkat lunak pengolah data yang umum digunakan di banyak sektor, termasuk pendidikan, bisnis, dan pemerintahan. Seminar ini menyediakan pembahasan praktis untuk siswa agar bisa menggunakan Microsoft Excel, mencakup materi seperti pembuatan data absensi, pengolahan data, dan pembuatan grafik. Pelaksanaan seminar ini dilakukan secara tatap muka dengan melibatkan lembaga, terutama dalam lingkungan SMA Ibrahimy 1. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem informasi yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami dapat meningkatkan kesiapan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran di era digital. Dengan kata lain, penguasaan Microsoft Excel menjadi langkah penting dalam mendukung transformasi digital dan pengembangan keterampilan teknologi siswa di SMA Ibrahimy 1.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan dan membangun Sistem Informasi Absensi Karyawan berbasis web pada Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Sumatera Utara (BPS Provsu). Absensi karyawan merupakan aspek kritis dalam menentukan kedisiplinan dan kinerja pegawai, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan teknologi informasi untuk mencatat absensi secara real-time dan efisien. Saat ini, BPS Provsu masih menggunakan metode manual untuk absensi, yang rentan terhadap kesalahan dan kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan sistem informasi absensi berbasis web menjadi solusi yang relevan dan mendesak. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall, yang merupakan model terurut dan sistematik terdiri dari tahapan pengumpulan dan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan penerapan. Dalam aplikasinya, terdapat dua peran utama, yaitu User (karyawan) dan Admin. User melakukan absensi melalui aplikasi setelah login, dan memiliki akses untuk mengajukan izin absensi secara online. Admin bertanggung jawab untuk memonitor aplikasi, mengelola data karyawan, absensi, jabatan, dan keterangan izin, serta memastikan validitas data yang masuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini memberikan kemudahan bagi karyawan dalam melakukan absensi dan mengajukan izin, serta meminimalisir kesalahan pencatatan data. Website sebagai bagian dari sistem informasi memberikan informasi yang mudah diakses oleh pengguna yang ingin mengajukan absensi izin atau sakit. Implementasi aplikasi ini juga membantu Admin dalam memonitor dan mengelola data dengan lebih efektif, serta menghasilkan laporan absensi yang akurat dan dapat diandalkan. Penggunaan aplikasi absensi berbasis web meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, meminimalkan risiko kehilangan data, dan memperbaiki proses pengelolaan absensi di BPS Provsu secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

The primary issue in this study is that fifth-grade pupils' learning outcomes in mathematics with reference to cuboid volume are subpar. A one-way learning approach, a dearth of successful learning models to boost student involvement, and low student engagement that makes learning dull and challenging are the culprits. The researcher suggests using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) paradigm as a remedy. Classroom action research, which falls under the qualitative research category, was the methodology employed in this study. Both quantitative and subjective statistics are included in the offered content. The outcomes of student written examinations at the conclusion of each cycle provided quantitative data, while observation sheets of teacher and student behavior during the learning process provided qualitative data. This study was carried out at SDN Kuin Cerucuk 3 Banjarmasin during the even semester of class VB of the 2024–2025 academic year. Following two cycles, the results demonstrated that learning outcomes achieved a score of 100% using the conventional criterion of "All Students Completed," instructor activity achieved a score of 28% with the criterion of "Very Good," and student activity achieved an 89% score with the criterion of "Very Active." These results show how well the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach works to enhance learning outcomes.

Abstract

Students face obstacles in solving problems or problems related to learning materials, especially materials related to calculations, especially in science learning. Based on this, this research is aimed at making LKPD with a STEM approach in learning effort and energy material that is in accordance with the validity, practicality, and effectiveness assessment indicators so that it is designed to improve students' ability to solve problems. The method applied is the R&D approach with stages adapted to the ADDIE model. The trial implementation was applied to 30 students in class VIII E at SMP Negeri 5 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques involved LKPD validation instruments, learner response questionnaires, and cognitive tests to measure problem solving skills. The results of the study showed the following: (1) the validity level of STEM-based LKPD products obtained a value of 0.76 which was declared valid, (2) the practicality value of 72.08% showed a practical level, and (3) the effectiveness obtained a value of 0.62 which met the effective category. Based on the results of the study, STEM-based LKPD on effort and energy can be applied in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the activities of teachers, analyze student activity during the learning process and analyze learning outcomes. The approach applied is qualitative and Class Action Research (PTK). Data analysis techniques were collected through observation sheets and written tests. The results showed that the first meeting teacher activity achieved a score of 22 increased until the fourth meeting with a score of 35. The activity of students at the first meeting reached 50% increased until the fourth meeting reached 100%. Learning outcomes cognitive and affective aspects of the first meeting achieved a 36% increase until the fourth meeting reached 100% and psychomotor aspects of the first meeting achieved a 39% increase in the fourth meeting reached 100%. With this it can be concluded that the use of PBL, GI and Snowball Throwing models can improve activity and learning outcomes. The advice for principals, teachers and other researchers is to be able to improve the quality of education, the quality of learning and as a reference in applying the learning model.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of Curriculum Management in enhancing teacher readiness for the Deep Learning Curriculum at SD Negeri 4 Bondo, Jepara. The research highlights the critical need to strengthen the principal’s role in supporting teachers to adapt to educational reforms requiring innovation and independent learning. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews and literature analysis. The findings indicate that effective Curriculum Management significantly improves teacher readiness. The principal provides strong moral, spiritual, and material support, including monthly teacher learning communities (KOMBEL), access to technology, and budget allocation for professional development. Additionally, the principal actively motivates, mentors, and ensures teachers have access to relevant learning resources. Despite these efforts, challenges remain, such as limited technological infrastructure, insufficient teacher competence in media development, and resistance to curriculum changes. The study concludes that Curriculum Management contributes positively to teacher preparedness for the Deep Learning Curriculum. However, continuous improvement is required in facility support, ongoing teacher training, and strategic leadership to overcome implementation barriers and sustain educational transformation.

Abstract

School financial management is a vital component in supporting the effectiveness and quality of education. However, the implementation of accountability principles at the elementary level often faces various challenges, such as limited administrative skills, lack of transparency, and low stakeholder participation. This study aims to examine the implementation of accountability principles within the framework of School-Based Management (SBM) in managing school finances at SD Negeri 1 Tanjung, Jepara. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation. Research subjects included the principal, treasurer, teachers, and school committee. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, and data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources and methods. The results show that the school has applied several accountability procedures, including participatory planning through RKAS, digital financial reporting via ARKAS, and public transparency efforts such as financial disclosures in meetings and notice boards. Nonetheless, the school still encounters challenges such as delayed government funding disbursements, limited financial administration skills, and passive community involvement. This study provides valuable insights for improving financial governance in schools by recommending regular capacity-building training, the use of user-friendly digital systems, and increased community participation in financial oversight. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for similar schools and inform local education authorities in developing more accountable school financial management practices.

Abstract

This study aims to design and produce a 3D animation titled AM BAND as an educational medium based on interactive multimedia. AM BAND is a virtual band that performs the song “Animasi UNP” with digitally animated characters synchronized to the music. The production process includes stages of modeling, rigging, animating, texturing, lighting, rendering, and editing, utilizing Blender and Mixamo. The development method employed is the linear (Waterfall) model, supported by SWOT analysis techniques. The final result demonstrates strengths in visual and educational aspects, although certain technical challenges remain. This product is expected to serve as a creative and inspirational reference for digital animation learning within academic settings.

Abstract

The objective of this investigation is to examine the extent to which the use of the paper-based Quizizz platform impacts the learning process in improving students’ academic achievement and critical thinking skills. This research employed a pre-experimental approach utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample was randomly selected from one of the seventh-grade classes. Data were collected through pretest and posttest instruments to assess learning outcomes, along with a critical thinking test. The analysis revealed an average N-Gain score of 0.82, which falls into the high category. Statistical testing using the Paired Sample T-Test yielded a significance value of 0.00, indicating a statistically significant improvement in learning outcomes. A separate One Sample T-Test also revealed a significance level of 0.00 for critical thinking, confirming a significant enhancement in students’ critical thinking abilities. Further analysis of each test item demonstrated that all questions were effective in measuring various aspects of critical thinking, including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and drawing conclusions. These findings suggest that implementing paper-based Quizizz as a learning tool can effectively foster comprehensive critical thinking and deepen students’ understanding of the subject matter.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven digital transformation in various fields, including the higher education sector. One technology that plays a crucial role in this process is cloud computing, which offers elastic, flexible, and efficient computing services over the internet. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe and analyze the implementation of cloud computing technology in higher education institutions based on a literature review from various relevant sources. The study focuses on the benefits gained, challenges faced, and possible implementation strategies. The analysis shows that cloud computing technology can improve operational efficiency, expand access to data and academic services, and strengthen collaboration among academics. However, several obstacles need to be anticipated, particularly those related to data security, network infrastructure reliability, and human resource readiness. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for higher education institutions in planning effective and sustainable cloud computing implementation.
