Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan efektifitas, koordinasi dan sosialisasi program Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) telah dibentuk Himpunan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Anak Usia Dini Indonesia (HIMPAUDI) . Meskipun sistem pengelolaan administrasi HIMPAUDI Provinsi Kaltim telah berjalan namun terdapat beberapa kendala akibat sistem pengelolaan adminstrasi yang dilakukan masih bersifat manual. Seperti sulitnya menghimpun data dari kurang lebih 8000 anggota di 10 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Hal ini lah yang perlu ditindak lanjuti dengan membuat sebuah aplikasi berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi dalam upaya membantu administrasi keanggotaan sehingga pengelolaan data menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. IPTEK yang akan ditransfer kepada mitra adalah pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pengelolaan administrasi keanggotaan secara online. Dimana saat ini pengiriman data dan profil keanggotaan dilakukan dengan pengiriman melalui kurir offline dan pengiriman softcopy file melalui email. Cara update data keanggotaan serta broadcast informasi akan dirubah dalam Sistem Informasi Administrasi keanggotaan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrogramaan PHP dan data base MYSQL yang kan ditempatkan pada server web hosting dengan kapasitas yang memadai (Unlimited). Sehingga masing masing anggota akan mendapatkan akun untuk dapat mengisi data profil yang dibutuhkan sekretariat HIMPAUDI KALTIM setiap saat baik melalui PC, Laptop atau ubiquitous technology seperti smartphone. Data base yang terekam dalam server dapat diolah menjadi informasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan HIMPAUDI KALTIM dan HIMPAUDI PUSAT guna berbagai tujuan, seperti pemetaan keanggotaan, perencanaan kegiatan peningkatan kapasitas dan lainnya.

Abstract

Excessive use of hand sanitizers can cause negative side effects on the skin such as irritation. This is because hand sanitizers on the market are made from alcohol. Therefore, the effort that can be done is by making innovative hand sanitizer products that utilize natural ingredients. Community service activities carried out in Tanjung Berulak Village located in Kampar District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province aimed to provide knowledge about training in making natural hand sanitizers from betel leaves and lime. This activity aims to educate the people of Tanjung Berulak Village, especially PKK women so that they can make their own hand sanitizers at home by utilizing materials available in the surrounding environment such as betel leaves and lime with mixing method. The stages of activities carried out in this service program include the socialization stage, the demonstration stage for making hand sanitizers, and the discussion stage. The implementation of the activity of making natural hand sanitizers was demonstrated directly to PKK women in Tanjung Berulak Village. The number of participants who took part in the socialization was 20 PKK women from Tanjung Berulak Village. The results of the service show that the people of Tanjung Berulak Village are very enthusiastic about participating in the socialization of making hand sanitizers from betel leaf and lime and can practice it in their respective homes.

Abstract

Deep eutectic solvents (DES) were intoduced to overcome the drawbacks of conventional catalysts (H2SO4, HCl, H3PO4, p-toluene sulfonic acid) due to several advantages; biodegradibility, cheap raw materials, high thermal and chemical stabilities, low melting point, low volatility, low toxicity, simple preparation as well as its physicochemical properties (melting point, acidity, density, viscosity, solubility and polarity) are easy to modify. DES is a mixture of two or more compounds of hydrogen bonding acceptor (HBA) and hydrogen bonding donor (HBD). The hydrogen bond formed between HBA/HBD mixture resulting to lower lattice energy thus lowering its melting point. Previous authors had reported the application of DES as reaction medium exhibit excellent catalytic activity on product yields, conversions and reusabilities. The aim of this article is to attract attention more comphrehensive studies on the utilization of DES as potential green catalyst.

Abstract

Increasing consumption of fossil fuels and decreasing oil production in Indonesia are the current energy problems. In order to overcome the threat of an energy crisis and optimize the potential of energy resources in Indonesia, research on renewable alternative energy is needed. One of the renewable energy sources is bio-oil. Bio-oil can be produced through the pyrolysis process of palm shell biomass using a ZSM-5 catalyst. In this study, the pyrolysis process was modified by adding hydrogen (hydrogenation pyrolysis), to produce bio-oil which has a higher calorific value. This study aims to determine the effect of pyrolysis temperature and ZSM-5 catalyst ratio on the yield of bio-oil in pyrolysis hydrogenation and to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of the resulting bio-oil. The pyrolysis hydrogenation process uses 50 grams of palm shells measuring -40+60 mesh, 500 ml silinap and a stirring speed of 300 rpm. The highest yield was obtained at a pyrolysis temperature of 320 oC and 2.5% ZSM-5 catalyst with a yield of 70.21%. The results of the physical characterization of bio-oil showed a heating value of 44.00 MJ/kg, a density of 0.972 g/ml, a viscosity of 1.021 cSt, a flash point of 49 oC, a pH of 3.8 and an acidity value of 51.51 g NaOH/g bio-oil. GC-MS analysis showed that the main ingredients of bio-oil were 50.29% acetic acid, 30.39% phenol, 8.19% methyl ester and 5.25% ethanol. The bio-oil obtained can be further processed to become an alternative energy source to replace petroleum.

Abstract

Obesity can decrease the quality of life for those affected. The issue of obesity in female students is not only related to their physical condition but also affects their psychological well-being. Meanwhile, self-concept encompasses an individual's mental representation of themselves, including both physical and psychological aspects. The aim of this study is to understand the self-concept of female students experiencing obesity and the factors influencing it. This research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were obtained through interviews with five female student subjects experiencing obesity. Subjects were selected using purposive sampling technique. The criteria for subjects in this study were active female students at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Kediri, unmarried, with a body mass index (BMI) classification indicating obesity (BMI > 25.0 according to WHO). The results of this study are as follows: (1) The self-concept of female students experiencing obesity at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Kediri is that they can describe their current physical and psychological conditions. Slimness is considered the beauty standard in their environment, although the subjects have their own beauty standards and make efforts to achieve them. Obesity does not hinder them in carrying out daily activities but affects their health. Female students experiencing obesity receive negative treatment and comments from their surroundings. They feel sad, regretful, self-blaming, and self-loathing about having an obese body. They also experience anxiety related to their health and lack confidence when looking in the mirror. In interactions, they may appear relaxed or embarrassed, but they still fulfill their daily roles effectively. (2) Factors influencing the self-concept of female students experiencing obesity include body shape, nicknames, unsuccessful weight loss attempts, and social support.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian adalah rendahnya aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar yang mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar pada muatan PPKn Tema 7 materi Peristiwa Dalam Kehidupan. Hal ini disebabkan pembelajaran kurang melibatkan keaktifan siswa, Salah satu upaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Numbered Head Together. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam II siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Tanipah 2 Barito Kuala, berjumlah 11 siswa terdiri dari 6 siswa laki-laki dan 5 siswa perempuan, semester II tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh skor 63% dengan kriteria “aktif” dan meningkat pada siklus II mencapai skor 82% dengan kriteria “sangat aktif”. Hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif pada siklus I mencapai 63% dengan kriteria “baik” dan meningkat pada siklus II mencapai 100% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Pembelajaran muatan PPKn Tema 7 Peristiwa Dalam Kehidupan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dan Numbered Head Together disarankan penggunaan model tersebut sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low student learning outcomes. To overcome these problems, researchers used the Problem Based Learning model. The purpose of this study was to describe teacher activities, analyze student activities and learning outcomes. The approach used in this study is qualitative research with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were fifth grade students at SDN 1 Batu Meranti, Tanah Bumbu Regency, for the 2022/2023 school year, with a total of 22 students. The type of research data is qualitative and quantitative data. Data analysis uses descriptive, tables and graphs. The results of this study indicate that there was an increase in teacher activity in the first cycle to get a score of 19 which was presented to 79.2%, in the second cycle it increased to 100% to get a score of 24 with the "Very Good" criterion. This increase in teacher activity affects student activity where in cycle I with a percentage of 63.6% it increases classically in cycle II to 90.9% or student activity meets the established criteria, namely ≥80% of the total number of students. It can be concluded that teacher activity, student activity and student learning outcomes have increased significantly by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model so that teachers and other researchers can use it as an alternative to improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims improve student learning outcomes PBL and NHT models in grade V SDN Lok Rawa Barito Kuala, this study involved 14 students. This study uses Classroom Action Research Technique which qualitative approach for two cycles. The information used qualitative information measurable observation of student and teacher participation in educational activities, information form of learning outcomes obtained by individual written tests end cycle. According to the results study, teacher activity scored 21 with the "Good" criterion in first cycle and rose to score of 26 with "Very Good" criterion in second cycle. First cycle, student participation was 54%; in the second cycle, it rose to 85%. In cycle I, the learning outcomes students in the cognitive domain were 15%; in cycle II, it rose to 92%. Given the findings research, learning PBL and NHT mathematics from block volume materials, can improve student activities, teacher activities, and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

In this study, the problem lies in the fact that students tend to be passive and do not ask questions when learning mathematics with the material of the volume of space, namely blocks. When the teacher asks students questions, they only answer with the answers that are already listed in the book. Students tend to answer based on what they remember and what they know. Researchers tried to find solutions to these problems by using a learning model called problem-based learning. The research approach used in this study is qualitative research, namely action research. The types of data presented in this research are quantitative and qualitative data. Observations with observation sheets provide qualitative data about teacher and student activities during the teaching and learning process. Students' learning outcomes, measured by written tests at the end of each session, provide quantitative data. At UPTD SDN Kurau, this research took place in the even semester of Class V in the 2023/2024 school year. The results showed that teacher, student activities and learning outcomes improved in each cycle with the categories "Very Active" and "Completed" after the action research process was carried out for two meetings in the class. This shows that the problem-based learning model describes successful learning.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Mathematics, specifically in the addition of fractions. The causes include an uninteresting learning atmosphere, one-way teaching methods, and minimal student involvement, which lead to boredom and difficulty in understanding the material. The researcher provides a solution to this problem by using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This study employs classroom action research as its method, which is qualitative. The types of information presented in this study include subjective and quantitative data. Qualitative data were collected through observation sheets on teacher and student activities during the teaching and learning process, while quantitative data were obtained from students' learning outcomes through written tests at the end of each meeting. This research was conducted at SDN Pasar Lama 6 Banjarmasin during the 2023-2024 academic year, in the even semester of grade V. After two cycles, the results showed that teacher activity reached a score of 20 with the criteria "Very Good." Student activity obtained a score of 100% with the criteria "Very Active." Learning outcomes reached a score of 100% with the criteria "Complete." This demonstrates that the use of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model has proven to be effective.
