Abstract

This study aims to develop a STEM-based science learning module using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach to improve students' problem-solving skills. The research design follows the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. A total of 31 students from a single class participated in the learning process using the developed module. The data collected included pretest and posttest scores, as well as student response questionnaires regarding the module. The analysis results indicate that the STEM-based PjBL science learning module is highly valid, with a score of 0.80 based on Aiken's V calculation. Additionally, there was a significant improvement in students' problem-solving abilities, as shown by the increase in average pretest scores from 57.65 to 79.61 after using the module. This suggests that the developed module is effective in enhancing students' problem-solving skills. Furthermore, student feedback on the module was positive, with a total score of 85%, indicating that it is very practical and beneficial for the learning process. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of innovative and effective teaching methods.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Lubuk Pakam to improve efficiency in dynamic mapping of distribution substations and electrical distribution networks, which are essential aspects of asset management and power system planning. This study aims to analyze and dynamically map substation infrastructure and distribution networks using the MapSource software. The methods used include spatial data collection, data processing using GIS tools, as well as visualization and location-based analysis of distribution networks. The results show that the integration of these two software tools enables real-time monitoring, identification of network vulnerabilities, and optimization of electrical infrastructure development planning. With this approach, stakeholders can make geospatial data-driven decisions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the electricity distribution system.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the influence of science process skills in the context of student entrepreneurship through the application of the ecopreneurship concept in learning entrepreneurship courses among science education students at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM). Using a quantitative approach by applying a quasi-experimental method and using a one group pretest posttest design where ULM Science Education students act as research subjects. Sample selection used purposive sampling technique. Analyzed using the N-Gain statistical method, Paired Sample t-test, and correlation test to identify relationships between variables and to assess the extent of the influence of applying the ecopreneurship concept in training students' entrepreneurial KSP (science process skills). The results of the analysis show that the application of the ecopreneurship concept has a significant influence on students' entrepreneurial science process abilities, as seen from the significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is below the limit of 0.05, carried out through the distribution of questionnaires for all indicators of science process skills, showing that the application of the ecopreneurship concept in learning not only improves the students' learning process, but also prepares them to become entrepreneurs who are responsible and oriented towards environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Plant population structure includes density, distribution, age classification, and conservation status. This study analyzes the population structure of Excoecaria agallocha L. (buta-buta) in the mangrove area of Tabanio Village, South Kalimantan, based on age classification by Odum (1993) and rarity status by IUCN (2014). The survey was conducted from September 2024 to June 2025 using 10 × 10 m quadrats and descriptive analysis. Results show a stable population with densities of 607 individuals/ha (pre-reproductive), 433 individuals/ha (reproductive), and 187 individuals/ha (post-reproductive). The age structure forms a broad-based pyramid, dominated by young individuals, indicating good natural regeneration. According to the IUCN, the species is classified as Least Concern, suggesting it is not at immediate risk of extinction. Nevertheless, ongoing protection and sustainable mangrove habitat management are essential to maintain population stability. This study contributes to mangrove ecological understanding and supports more sustainable conservation strategies in South Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study examines the strategies of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in utilizing technology and digital learning media in the digital era. The main issues discussed include the types of digital media used in PAI learning, effective learning strategies, the role of teachers in digital environments, as well as the challenges and solutions faced by teachers. The purpose of this study is to analyze how teachers optimize technology to improve the quality of learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method by analyzing various relevant scientific sources. The results show that the use of digital media such as e-learning platforms, interactive applications, and audiovisual content can enhance student engagement and understanding. Teachers play an important role as facilitators, motivators, and controllers of technology use. However, challenges such as limited digital competence, infrastructure constraints, and misuse of technology still exist. Therefore, continuous training, strengthening digital literacy, and effective supervision are needed as solutions to optimize technology-based learning in Islamic education.
