Jurnal Psychospiritual berfokus pada integrasi antara psikologi dan spiritualitas untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana aspek-aspek psikologis dan spiritual saling mempengaruhi dan berinteraksi. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan penelitian, teori, dan aplikasi yang menghubungkan dinamika mental dengan pengalaman spiritual dalam konteks kesehatan, kesejahteraan, dan perkembangan pribadi. Dengan menggabungkan kedua disiplin ilmu ini, jurnal ini bertujuan untuk memperdalam pemahaman tentang bagaimana interaksi antara psikologi dan spiritualitas dapat mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Scope jurnal ini mencakup berbagai area, termasuk pengembangan teori psikospiritual, model-model holistik, dan penelitian empiris yang menilai dampak praktik spiritual terhadap kesehatan mental. Jurnal ini juga meliputi teknik terapeutik yang mengintegrasikan prinsip psikologis dan spiritual, serta evaluasi efektivitasnya dalam konteks klinis dan non-klinis. Selain itu, jurnal ini membahas pengaruh budaya dan sosial terhadap pengalaman psikospiritual, strategi pengembangan pribadi dan spiritual, serta isu etika dan kebijakan yang relevan. Jenis artikel yang diterima meliputi artikel penelitian, tinjauan literatur, studi kasus, opini, dan refleksi pribadi, yang ditujukan untuk peneliti, praktisi, dan mahasiswa di bidang psikologi dan spiritualitas.

Abstract

Innovative learning with Augmented Reality technology today is a trend in modern schools, in Indonesia and abroad. As technology develops massively in education, it will affect students' cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor development. Then this article will examine, as technology develops in education, how this affects the development of grit in students. Saving researchers have two important questions, first, how Augmented Reality technology as learning in the world of education. Second, how the development of grit in the education world. The method used is qualitative with the library research approach of primary data sources from books on augmented reality and grit as well as secondary data from internationally renowned scientific articles, methods of analysis are descriptive analytical, by implicitly describing and analysing how innovative learning as grit development in students. The results of this study prove first Augmented Reality has been shown to enhance student interest, understanding, and involvement in the material of the lesson, so that the grit in the student can unconsciously grow. Second, the concept of grit development includes perseverance, and the spirit in facing the challenge, can be enhanced through learning experiences that require exploration and problem solving, in the use of Augmenting Reality students are able to think creatively and critically in receiving the material.

Abstract

The birth of down syndrome children can affect parents' daily activities, the pattern of parental relationships with the surrounding environment, and parents' mental health. Parents must have selfadjustment in order to survive in these circumstances. This study aims to analyze the adjustment of parents with down syndrome children using theories from Siswanto. A person's self-adjustment can be seen through five indicators, namely accurate perception of reality, ability to cope with stress, having a positive self-image, the ability to express feelings, and good interpersonal communication skills. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study research design. The results showed that all five participants had been able to adjust to having a child with down syndrome, but with different stress coping strategies, namely emotional focus coping and problem focus coping.

Abstract

Adolescents' knowledge of reproductive health is a crucial aspect of overall health, encompassing physical, mental, and social well-being. Adolescents aged 15-18 are in a stage of physical, emotional, and cognitive development that is not yet fully mature but characterized by high curiosity. This study aimed to describe the level of knowledge about reproductive health among adolescents at SMA X Jember. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through a Google Form questionnaire distributed to 103 students from grades X and XI at SMA X Jember in June 2024. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical methods to depict the level of adolescents' knowledge about reproductive health. The results showed that 91.3% of the 103 respondents had a good level of knowledge about reproductive health, consisting of 47 females and 56 males aged between 15-18 years. All respondents (100%) had been exposed to reproductive health information from various sources. The study concluded that the level of knowledge about reproductive health among adolescents at SMA X Jember was good for both females and males. Easy access to information from various sources strengthened this level of knowledge.

Abstract

The life that a prisoner lives while in prison causes prisoners to face various psychological problems, including loss of family, loss of self- control, and loss of support. The aim of this research: First, to describe the psychological well-being of female prisoners at Prison II A Jember. Second, to describe the impact of psychological well-being on the activities of female prisoners at Prison II A Jember. This research is qualitative research with a field study approach. The technique for determining research subjects uses purposive techniques, while the data collection technique uses observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity test used is source triangulation and technical triangulation. The conclusions from this research are as follows: The description of the psychological well-being of female prisoners at Prison II A Jember shows that there are still obstacles that hinder the fulfillment of optimal psychological well-being. Factors supporting the psychological well-being of female prisoners are social support, positive interactions and spirituality. Meanwhile, factors inhibiting psychological well-being are personality, cultural differences,, and infrastructure.

Abstract

Suicide incidents that have occurred in recent years have become a serious problem related to mental health and have received global attention. The phenomenon of suicide usually begins with the process of emergence of thoughts about ending one's life. These thoughts are often triggered by various factors that vary in each individual. The aim of this research is to find out and describe the causal factors and forms of suicidal ideation that arise in the minds of final year students at the Faculty of Dakwah Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq State Islamic University, Jember. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The data collection technique uses observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this research show that the factors that cause suicidal ideation are psychological disorders, such as childhood trauma, sexual abuse trauma and low self-acceptance. Meanwhile, the forms of suicidal ideation that arise in the minds of final year students at the Faculty of Dakwah are jumping from heights, injuring the body with sharp objects, stabbing the body using sharp objects and crashing their bodies into vehicles.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of educational games as an innovative medium to enhance students' learning outcomes, focusing on cognitive abilities, learning motivation, and social skills. The scope of this research includes analyzing the short- and long-term impacts of educational games on elementary and secondary education levels. Utilizing library research, the study examines articles, books, and research reports from the last decade. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key themes surrounding the benefits and limitations of educational games. The findings reveal that educational games significantly enhance cognitive skills, especially in problem-solving and critical thinking. Games also boost learning motivation through interactive and engaging content, providing instant feedback and progressive challenges. Furthermore, collaborative educational games improve social skills, including communication and teamwork. However, excessive screen time poses potential drawbacks, emphasizing the importance of balanced game usage. This research concludes that educational games are effective as supplementary tools in learning but require careful integration into educational practices to maximize their potential benefits.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine whether emotion regulation is associated with academic burnout. According to theory, academic burnout is closely related to negative emotions. Emotional regulation is considered a way to overcome academic burnout. In this study, the independent variable of focus is emotional regulation, while the dependent variable is academic fatigue. Academic burnout refers to the theory of Maslach and emotional regulation is based on the theory of Gross. The research method employed is quantitative research with a correlational approach. Using a research sample of 35 students from the Tahntri Tahfidz Islamic boarding school Annuqayyah Latee Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. The sample method used is saturation sampling due to the research population being less than 100 individuals. The data collection technique employed in this study was the use of a research questionnaire with scales for emotional regulation and academic burnout. The Pearson product-moment correlation is used for data analysis in this study. The results of this study indicate that emotional regulation is related to academic burnout in Santri Tahfidz Islamic boarding school Annuqayyah Latee Guluk-Guluk Sumenep, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of -.529. This means that there is a correlation between the emotional regulation variable and the academic burnout variable, with a moderate strength of association. This is based on the guideline categories in the range of 0.41-0.60. As a result, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Globally, santri are people who are studying Islamic religion at Islamic boarding school institutions. If classified, santri are divided into two types, namely mukim santri and kalong santri. However, in this research, there is one more classification related to santri, namely santri who devote themselves to caregivers either for the benefit of the santri or caregiver. The research method used is a qualitative method with a grounded theory approach. The data collection process in this study was carried out by interviewing research subjects. The results of this research are that the meaningfulness of life of serving students can be seen from: 1) Social pressure, 2) Self-formation, 3) Grounding techniques, 4) Spirituality.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools offer more intensive education than regular schools so that they can put pressure on students, especially teenagers. The aim of this research is to describe stress management strategies for teenage students at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. Data analysis was carried out through transcription, reduction, presentation, inference and review. The stress coping strategies used by the informants include problem-focused coping, self-control, instrumental social support, emotional coping, and religiosity. It is recommended that Islamic boarding schools implement psychological counseling programs to help school administrators and students choose effective coping strategies and manage stress. We We hope that future researchers can apply the same theory to different objects or adapt other theories.

Abstract

Loneliness is a negative emotional state experienced by individuals due to the lack of satisfying social interactions. In response to this issue, the government has established nursing homes that aim to address social problems, particularly psychological challenges among the elderly, such as feelings of loneliness. This study aims to explore the underlying factors contributing to loneliness among older adults residing in a nursing home and to examine the institutional efforts and facilities provided to mitigate such emotional experiences. A qualitative research approach with a descriptive design was employed in this study. The participants consisted of three elderly residents and one staff member from the nursing home, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection methods included observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the processes of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that most elderly residents in the nursing home experience loneliness. Key contributing factors include the loss of a spouse, limited social interaction, feelings of abandonment, and a perceived lack of purpose. The psychological impacts of loneliness identified in this study are categorized into emotional loneliness and social loneliness.
