Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) comprehending the reading and writing ability of child of dyslexia, (2) Reading and writing resistant factor, and (3). Study model for child of dyslexia. The result of the research shows; (1). Reading ability and writes ability of dyslexia are low, (2). The factor influencing the reading disability are (a). disfunction nerve system, (b). Slow development and lacking of nutrition, (c). Slow short term memory, (d). Lack of family support and supporting facilities for study, (e). less mature of physical, emotional and social. (3). Learning model. In general, Learning process for child of dyslexia in class is equal to other children, but there is special treatment for dyslexia that is they have special requirement, such as special teacher, method and private space and time especially. The treatment was specially given for the improvement of reading and writing ability of child of dyslexia.

Abstract

Expression of juvenile delinquency is often seen in society, for instance: attacking among students, free sex, and theft. The teaching of religious values and morality in teenager life comprehensively, becomes responsibility of family, society, school and government, as effort to solve the juvenile delinquency juvenile delinquency juvenile delinquency.The family requires applying the pattern of Islamic mothering. Society as a control conducts tight inspection to the teenager behavior and action. The school does not only emphasize on intellectual intelligence, it is also important to develop other intelligences, like emotional and spiritual intelligence. In consequence, religious subject is not merely given for memorizing (cognition), but also for being done affectively.Furthermore, the attitude of all elements of society must be good guidance. Parent, teacher, and society have not to disobey religious teaching, social norms and moral. It is the significant matter as effort to solve the juvenile delinquency.Keywords: religion and juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

Psychology as knowledge behavior and psyche or soul, in history, has appeared since Yunani period. At that time, their philosophers try to explain what the soul is and how it works. By the time, the growth of psychology appeared many sects of psychology, such as John Watson, who is to pioneer in behaviorism, John Locke as pioneer of empiricism, Descartes as pioneer of consciousness, etc. Furthermore, psychology, which is usually considered as knowledge about psyche, in fact, it also has to do with other aspects, such as; profession, sport, technical, design, singing, and preventive action in people healthy. Considering how much the important role, which can be handled, psychology scholar should have well and appropriate provisions. That provisions, at least involve three points; 1) expert and professional in knowledge of psychology; methodology and theories, 2) good intelligent, know how to apply and to increase his knowledge, 3) good personality and behavior.Keyword: psychology, knowledge, and profession.

Abstract

Kesulitan membaca atau sering di sebut disleksia merupakan salah satu kesulitan belajar khusus dalam membaca. Membaca merupakan kemampuan dasar yang wajib dimiliki anak dalam menempuh pendidikan. Mengingat pentingnya kemampuan membaca bagi semua orang maka pemahaman kesulitan membaca dan intervensinya melalui berbagai macam pendekatan sangat penting. Tulisan berikut ini akan mendiskusikan pentingnya penanganan kesulitan membaca pada anak berdasarkan pendekatan teori fonologi. Penanganan anak berkesulitan membaca membutuhkan pelayanan yang kompleks, demikian pula pelatihan kesadaran fonologi sebagai salah satu model pengembangan teori defisit fonologi akan lebih efektif bila dikombinasikan dengan pelatihan yang lain, antara lain fonologi dengan ketrampilan bunyi bahasa, ketrampilan huruf dan visual taktil-auditori sensori motorik.

Abstract

Woman’s participation in political arena  is facing marginalization. Although 30%  regulation of women’s proportion in the parlementary has been implemented in 2004 general election, woman’s representative  in political practice is still low. It just reached 11,8% from the targeted proportion (30%).For the next 2009 general election, all parties have not fulfilled the 30% proportion. The effort to reach 30% proportion of women's representative in the parliament should be implemented with the fact that women voter number is higher than men voter number. Through socialization of politics and women's representative issues, discrimination towards women's right maybe eliminated. Designing gender perspective curriculum and encouraging academicians to have gender sensitivity are importand effort too. Women are also expected to develop and to improve their capabilities  including their intelectual and personal quality  will support women's role significantly in political arena. Kata Kunci: Perempuan, keterwakilan perempuan dalam parlemen, politik praktis.

Abstract

This study wanted to test the reading ability of students in grade 5 elementary school and madrasah, aged 9-11 years in terms of gender and type of school. Data collection tool tests the ability to read and the data entry student sex and type of school that consists of Elementary and MI. Research subjects amounted to 71 students from two schools, which consists of 43 elementary school students and 28 students MI. The results of data analysis showed that there was no difference between reading ability between men and women (p 0.05). In review of the types of schools that is students from elementary school and MI (p 00.5) and no difference in reading ability.Key words: Ability to read, gender, type of school

Abstract

Successful motherhood in educating children requires learning how to best care for children. Excellent parenting programs make it easier for mothers to better care for their children. The study aim was to examine the effect of "excellent parenting program" on the authoritative parenting patterns of mothers. A total number of 14 mothers were involved in this study.  A quasi-experimental method was used. Data was collected using the authoritative parenting scale, and analyzed using t-test. The result shows that the excellent parenting program has a positive effect on the improvement of mother’s authoritative parenting. This study concludes that the excellent parenting program provides benefits for mothers to improve their authoritative parenting skills.Key words: Authoritative parenting, excellent parenting program, mother. Abstrak: Sukses menjadi ibu dalam mendidik anak memerlukan belajar bagaimana mengasuh yang terbaik untuk anak. Program excellent parenting membantu memudahkan ibu dalam menerapkan pola pengasuhan anak secara otoritatif. Tujuan penelitian adalah menguji pengaruh program excellent parenting terhadap pola pengasuhan otoritatif ibu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen terhadap 14 ibu. Pengumpulan data penelitian berupa skala pola pengasuhan otoritatif. Analisis data menggunakan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa “program excellent parenting” memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pola asuh otoritatif ibu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program excellent parenting bermanfaat bagi para ibu untuk meningkatkan pola asuh otoritatif.

Abstract

Anxiety is unpleasant feeling happened when someone is depressed or has spiritual conflict. In Al-Quran we can find a lot of verse related to human psychology that theoretically can be used as psychotherapy references to overcome anxiety. Al-Quran offers solution to have serenity through its verses that tell us how to face the problems in life without anxiety.Using qualitative research method and grounded theory approach, this research is aimed to know the Islamic psychotherapy model using verses in Al-Quran to overcome anxiety in Islamic boarding school Luhur and Baiturrahmah Malang. The research is focused on the process of present phenomenon, the conceptual framework is taken from the data, rather than from the former research, although it still gives influences to the result of the research. The research method is done through thorough interview, observation, documentation, and anxiety test. And the data analysis uses inductive approach.The result of the research shows that most Islamic psychotherapy methods using Al-Quran as media to overcome anxiety done by therapist (“kiai” and those who are given the authority to give therapy) in Islamic boarding school Luhur and Baiturrahmah are using self and direct therapy. Both use integrative approach by method of intuition that is done through activities such as praying, fasting, and reading verses in Al-Quran in solitude. The anxiety test shows that after the therapy 95% of students in those Islamic boarding schools have decreased their anxiety level. It indicates that Islamic therapy is very effective.Kata kunci: Kecemasan, psikoterapi, pondok pesantren

Abstract

From the research on the translation of the Quran, in various countries in the center of places of worship, it is known that there are already translations so that it is hoped that it will increase interest in reading and understanding the contents of the Quran. The translation of the Quran is an interpretation of the holy book of Islam in a language other than Arabic. The Quran has been translated into most languages by the translator. The translation of the Quran has always been a troubled and difficult issue in Islamic theology. Because Muslims respect the Quran as a miracle and incomparable (i'jaz al-Quran), they argue that the Quranic text cannot be reproduced in other languages or other forms. The translation of the Quran in its history undergoes a lengthy process, for example from the question of authority or the legitimacy of the translator, the law of translation, coupled with the presence of the translation made by the Orientalists making many differences among the scholars in addressing the translation of the Quran.

Abstract

Children with special needs (ABK) are children who have special characteristics and are different from children as usual, in other words they are not able to show mental, emotional or physical disabilities, which are included in the category of children with special needs including: blind, deaf, mentally retarded, physically disabled, mentally retarded, learning difficulties, and behavioral difficulties. Barriers to the education of children with special needs require the form of educational services that are in accordance with their abilities and potential. The purpose of this study was to examine the description of the perception and role of teachers on the learning of children with special needs. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted in Malang City. The result of this study is that in general, teachers perceive children with special needs as requiring intensive learning. Children with special needs need continuous guidance between teachers and parents. This can be started with home visit activities or home visits. In order to improve the readiness of classroom teachers in dealing with children with special needs and provide a shadow teacher to facilitate children with special needs. The teacher as a teacher in his role also focuses on training the independence of children because children with special needs cannot always depend on others but at least children with special needs can take care of themselves.
