Abstract

Organizational barriers in the audit process remain a significant concern because they directly influence supervisory effectiveness, decision-making quality, and the achievement of organizational objectives. Challenges such as inadequate coordination, limited human resources, insufficient auditor competence, and ineffective communication frequently hinder the successful implementation of audit activities. This study aims to examine the development of research on organizational barriers in the audit process through bibliometric mapping and literature review to identify research trends, thematic relationships, and future research opportunities. The study employs a quantitative approach using bibliometric analysis integrated with a literature review. Data were collected from scientific publications published between 2016 and 2026 through Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar using the Publish or Perish application. The collected data were subsequently analyzed using VOSviewer through network, overlay, and density visualizations. The findings reveal that the themes of communication and barrier constitute the most dominant and interconnected topics within the field of organizational audit studies. Research trends indicate a gradual shift from administrative and procedural perspectives toward strategic communication, information quality, technological integration, and stakeholder involvement. Density analysis further demonstrates that topics related to digital transformation, communication technologies, audit strategies, and collaborative governance remain underexplored. These findings suggest that audit effectiveness is determined not only by control and compliance mechanisms but also by the quality of organizational communication and the ability to manage emerging barriers. The study concludes that strengthening communication systems, integrating technological innovations, and enhancing stakeholder coordination are essential for developing a more adaptive, collaborative, and sustainable audit process in contemporary organizational environments.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is the backbone of the national economy but peasants in rural areas are often stuck in the quagmire of structural poverty due to their dependence on middlemen and long distribution chains. Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2025 launched the Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) program as a strategic intervention to build village economic sovereignty. This study attempts to analyze the potential of KDKMP in improving the welfare of peasants from the perspective of the Pierre Bourdieu theory of practice. The present study is qualitative in nature and uses a narrative review of literature design. Data from relevant government legislation, scientific literature and policy documents. The literature was interpreted using Bourdieu's Theory of Practice as the analytical framework. The results of the analysis show that KDKMP is not necessarily successful because of the risk of domination of local elites that can turn cooperatives into new “fields of corruption”. In addition, there is a hysteresis phenomenon, where old farmers experience a devaluation of cultural capital due to their inability to adapt to the forced digitalization of agribusiness. This program risks becoming a mere administrative symbol if it only pursues bureaucratic targets without the substantive participation of the community. Without transparent governance, KDKMP can strengthen power asymmetry and reproduce the initial capital inequality between actors. Further empirical and longitudinal research is needed in various rural areas to verify the real impact of the program on the welfare of farmers and test the effectiveness of financing mechanisms and habitus transformation in the field.

Abstract

Social media proliferation has reshaped the digital public sphere into a new arena for social justice discourse, including Islamic communication practices. Menfess accounts, anonymous message channels on Instagram and Twitter, have become a distinctive phenomenon where da'wah, social critique, and justice narratives are constructed without disclosing the sender's identity. This study maps the message-construction mechanisms of menfess accounts and examines their representation through three Qur'anic communication principles: qaulan sadida, qaulan baligha, and qaulan masyura. Employing a qualitative approach grounded in Hjarvard's mediatization theory, the research analyzed 50 menfess messages on social justice from January to March 2026 through digital observation and content analysis. Findings reveal three dominant patterns: an anonymous-narrative pattern leveraging identity invisibility for critique free from authority pressure; a dialogical pattern reflecting the shura principle to cultivate public reasoning; and a communicative-ethics pattern that consistently internalizes qaulan sadida, qaulan baligha, and qaulan masyura. The results affirm that menfess accounts function as a democratic justice arena, resonant with an Islamic-inflected reading of Habermas's public sphere. This study enriches contemporary Islamic communication theory and offers practical guidance for da'wah media managers designing inclusive, justice-oriented digital spaces.
