Abstract

Health development aims to increase awareness, ability, and willingness to live a healthy life for every individual, enabling the attainment of the highest possible level of health. In other words, it is expected that the community can play a role as actors in health development by maintaining and improving their own health and actively contributing to the realization of community health. Mothers giving birth through Cesarean Section (CS) have been proven to significantly increase maternal mortality. The risk is higher in planned elective CS deliveries (Villar, 2006). In recent years, the incidence of CS deliveries has exceeded the WHO target. Efforts for Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) have relatively low interest (ACOG, 2010). Mothers' fear of undergoing normal delivery is influenced by various factors, including anxiety and lack of knowledge. The objective of this activity is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) and provide prenatal care. The results of the activity show that many pregnant women are enthusiastic about enhancing their knowledge of VBAC. Some pregnant women actively inquire about VBAC and are motivated to follow the procedures. Pregnant women also feel significant benefits from free prenatal examinations.

Abstract

Background: World Health Organization WHO (World Health Organization) 40% of maternal deaths in developing countries are related to anemia in pregnancy, mostly caused by iron deficiency and acute bleeding, not infrequently the two interact with each other. The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in the world is around 14% on average, in industrialized countries it is 56% and in developing countries it is between 35%-75%. Globally, 52% of pregnant women in developing countries experience anemia. In Indonesia, it was found that the incidence of anemia in the group of pregnant women was 48.9% with a proportion according to age, namely 84.6% of pregnant women aged 15-24 years, 33.7% of pregnant women aged 25-34 years, 33.6% of pregnant women aged 35-44 years and 24% of pregnant women aged 45-54 years (Riskesdas, 2018). Anemia can be prevented by consuming balanced nutritious food with sufficient iron intake to meet the body's needs. Natural ingredients that can be used as an alternative to treat anemia and are easy to obtain and cultivate also contain protein, vitamin C and iron. One non-pharmacological method or natural ingredient that can be used to increase Hb levels is red guava juice and honey. According to research (Agustina et al., 2020) that there is an effect of consuming red guava juice on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women at the Saketi Health Center, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province in 2020. Red guava is very rich in vitamin C and several types of minerals which are able to ward off various types of illness and maintaining physical fitness. Purpose: This community service is carried out with the aim of overcoming the priority problem at TPMB Aquirini, namely Anemia in Pregnant Women. Method: The method used in this community service uses lecture, discussion and demonstration methods. Targeting pregnant women who are anemic Result: As a result of this community service, pregnant women understand and understand the counseling and complementary therapy "BUJIRAH MADU" which can be applied to treat anemia. Conclusion: Based on the evaluation carried out after providing counseling and giving Bujirah Honey Juice during community service, the intervention provided went well and was effective with the result that pregnant women were able to answer questions and know how to prevent and manage anemia.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women is a condition in which the body can’t produce enough red blood cells to circulate oxygen to the body's tissues during pregnancy. Beetroot is one of the non-pharmacological treatments that is very useful for increasing hemoglobin levels. The purpose of community service is to help pregnant women with anemia by increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women by giving beetroot juice to pregnant women in the Karyamulya Village area, Batujaya District. This community service was carried out in Karyamulya Village, Batujaya District. The activities of community service go through 3 stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results of the counseling showed that there was a difference in HB levels before and after counseling and intervention in the administration of beetroot juice. Before being given beetroot juice, all respondents 20 (100%) had anemia, while after being given counseling and beetroot juice, most of the respondents did not experience anemia, namely 17 (85%) respondents, and 3 (15%) respondents experienced anemia Counseling and giving beetroot juice for pregnant women with anemia is very effective because it follows health conditions, namely anemia in pregnancy which is experienced by many pregnant women in the region. Abstract

One effort to reduce the rate of population growth is through a family planning program for couples of childbearing age. Implants are a long-term contraceptive method that is highly effective in preventing pregnancy. However, in its implementation, the use of implants is still far from the target. The public's low interest in using implants is partly due to the fear and anxiety of potential acceptors about installing the contraceptive device. One effort to increase interest in using implants can be done through outreach. In this counseling, the method used is providing educational material about implants and continuing with implant installation. This program will be implemented in Sawangan District, Depok City, West Java. It is hoped that this activity can increase knowledge and awareness of women of childbearing age about the importance of long-term contraception such as implants.

Abstract

Triple Elimination is a program held by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia to overcome the transmission of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), Syphilis, and Hepatitis B from pregnant women to their babies. This activity was adopted from the World Health Organization (WHO) program called triple elimination. WHO believes that the transmission rate can be reduced to 5% from 15% with preventive activities in the form of testing for HIV, hepatitis B, and syphilis during antenatal care (ANC). Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health aims to reach zero by 2030 as written in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia number 52 of 2017. The activities carried out aim to increase public knowledge about health, especially about the Triple Elimination program (controlling the transmission of HIV/AIDS, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B) between pregnant women and their babies. By increasing public knowledge, it is hoped that people's attitudes and behavior will be able to change so they can live healthier lives. Pregnant women are willing to have themselves checked for these three diseases (HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B) so that the incidence of disease can continue to be reduced. Health education activities regarding Triple Elimination (control of HIV/AIDS, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B) were carried out on Tuesday 31 October 2023 at Majelis Taklim Asyufi, Tanjung Barat Subdistrict, Jagakarsa District, South Jakarta. The target group is the women of the majelis taklim, numbering approximately 50 people. The counseling took place wisely, the mothers listened carefully. It is hoped that this outreach can increase public knowledge about health and reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B.

Abstract

According to the Central Statistics Agency (2018), to maximize the development potential of children aged 0-6 years, the government has created an early childhood education (PAUD) program. The PAUD program prioritizes children's physical growth and development (fine and gross motor coordination) and children's intelligence, socio-emotional skills, and language and communication, which aim to provide positive stimulation for children's growth and development. Stimulation for children needs to be done as early as possible. Its implementation can be carried out regularly as a prevention because when stimulation is carried out, the hormones needed for children's development can be produced by the body. One of them is by doing sensory play activities. Sensory play is a game that can train children to use one or more senses. Sensory play becomes a stimulus that will enter the child's brain, which then the nervous system will process it by producing a sensation that can encourage the child's senses to move, this is called a stimulus-response. When children get a lot of stimulus, children will get more and more pleasant experiences (Munzilin, et al., 2021). The methods used are lectures and discussions. The implementation of community service was carried out at PAUD Uswatun Hasanah, Bogor Regency on January 8, 2024, with 38 participants. After the community service activity, participants learned the importance of providing stimulation for children's fine motor development.
