Abstract

Background: A healthy pregnancy requires physical and mental preparation from everymother. Healthy pregnancy planning should be done before pregnancy. A well-plannedpregnancy process will have a positive impact on the condition of the fetus and thephysical and psychological adaptation of the mother for the better. Folic acid is anessential nutrient required for DNA replication directed at cell proliferation. Folic acid isactivated by the MTHFR gene through an enzymatic reaction. Folic acid can be found infoods as well as in supplements. The demand for folate increases during pregnancybecause it is necessary for the growth and development of the fetus.. Pregnant womenneed extra folic acid about 0.4 mg per day in normal cases and high-risk (previouslyaffected) pregnancies this dose is recommended for 1-3 months before conception. Objective: The purpose of this service is to anticipate high-risk pregnancies by preparingwomen of reproductive age by providing counseling on healthy pregnancy preparationand giving folic acid tablets. Method: The activity was held on April 18, 2013 at BPM I, Pondok Jaya Sub District,Cipayung District, Depok City. Result: The implementation from the midwife went smoothly and received enthusiasmfrom the activity participants.Conclusion: It is hoped that women of healthy reproductive age can get more knowledgerelated to preparing for a healthy pregnancy so that later they will be ready for theirpregnancy and babies born healthy.

Abstract

Background: Community midwifery management was to improve the health of mothers and children, toddlers in the family so that healthy and prosperous families are realized in certain communities. In December 2022 Haruman Village has a good health status coverage, K1, K4, Linakes, KF3, KN3, and detection of risk maternity mother was 24%, pregnant women risk was 26%, but in April 2023 there is an increase in detection of women at risk which was 37.5%. Objective: Describe the priority of problems to interventions related to MCH / KB, together with the community through Community Service activities. Method: The data used secondary data from Haruman Village. The method of prioritizing problems uses the Delbeque method through Focus Discussion Group (FGD).  Results:  It was found that about 30 out of 80 pregnant women had a high risk or about 37.5% of them were mild anemia 12.5%, CED 18.75%, and age over 35 years 6.25% Therefore, the group intervened in the form of counseling on CED for pregnant women, which was carried out on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at TPMB Rini Suwarni, the midwife of Haruman Village, and the provision of Moringa leaf pudding nutrition which can help improve nutrition in pregnant women with CEDs. Result: Counseling with the lecture method can increase knowledge about nutrition during pregnancy in preventing and overcoming CED. Empowering midwives and cadres to overcome CEDs can provide additional food in the form of processed moringa leaves. Conclusion: This community service program expected to be followed up elsewhere in the following year to support complementary innovations in preventing and treating CED in pregnant women

Abstract

Background: Health problems receive serious attention from various elements ofsociety. One way to solve health problems in the community is to carry out communityservice. Community service is an activity that aims to assist the community in severalactivities to overcome the problems they face by actively participating in the healthdevelopment process and increasing community empowerment without expecting anyform of reward. Objective: Carry out community service activities by carrying out activities rangingfrom collecting secondary data to conducting interventions and evaluating fieldactivities. Method: The practice of community midwifery carried out by Nasional UniversityMidwife Professional Education Students Batch 5 Group 3 with the practice area at theYusma Medika Clinic which was carried out at the Bina Siswa Utama Middle School,Kotabaru Subdistrict, West Bekasi District, Bekasi City, has been carried out in thefollowing stages: Orientation, Taking Secondary Data, Focus Group Discussion (FGD),Preparation of Planning Of Action (POA), Intervention activities in the form ofcounseling about "Ceria Manise" (Preventing Anemia of Adolescents with NutritiousFood and Fe Supplementation) and giving herbal drink "Ceria Flowers" (Dragon Fruitand Honey Prevents Adolescents from Anemia), and ends with Evaluation and Closing. Result: Community service activities in the form of counseling "Ceria Manise"(Prevent Anemia of Adolescents with Nutritious Food and Fe Supplementation) andprovision of the herbal drink "Ceria Flowers" (Dragon Fruit and Honey Prevent Anemiain Adolescents) are expected to allow adolescents to understand more about anemia andcan take proper prevention, one of which is by consuming dragon fruit and honey herbaldrinks. Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which children under five years of age or toddlers experience growth failure caused by a lack of nutrition received by the fetus/infant. The condition of children who are stunted can be seen from their height which is below the height standard for their age, their bone growth is below the high standard for their age, their bone growth is delayed and their body weight is low for their age. The purpose of doing community service is to apply scientific theories in the health sector to overcome problems that occur in the field so that they can benefit the community, actively participate in the health development process, increase community empowerment in the health sector, increase the ability of the academic community to apply theories science both independently and in groups, helping to overcome problems faced by the government and society with practical scientific methods. Following up on the problems found in Sinarmukti Village, Baros District, Serang Regency, where stunted toddlers were found, it is necessary to carry out health education about stunting, the impact and prevention of stunting by evaluating anthropometric measurements of toddlers and providing pumpkin tray cakes to improve nutrition in toddlers. Service implementation activities run smoothly. Out of the 17 toddlers who took part in the activity, there were 29.4% (5) of them who were stunted. The community is very enthusiastic and appreciates this activity, because they know the importance of maintaining nutrition, growth and development of their toddlers. The strategy to improve nutrition for toddlers is to take advantage of the abundant natural resources in the area, this time by consuming pumpkin trays and increasing parental knowledge in maintaining children's nutrition, growth and development. Abstract

Background: Healthy living behavior is an important activity to be carried out by all levels of society at large. So that in carrying out daily activities can avoid diseases caused by a lack of personal hygiene. In the process of carrying out clean and healthy living behavior activities such as washing hands with soap, not a few people feel bored. The side effect that will be obtained because of this activity is a decrease in work motivation from the community. So, it needs a particular activity to overcome this problem. One of the activities that can be carried out is to provide a support system for fellow citizens in carrying out clean and healthy living behaviors, namely washing hands with soap. Objective: To increase an individual health status will particularly impact community groups and the country. Method: This activity is carried out at least once a week by gathering and telling about daily activities, which always start with washing hands. Result: Mutual support between people working more often outside the home can provide new motivation and enthusiasm for doing their job and a clean and healthy lifestyle. Health education with a peer support approach to the community is more interesting. Conclusion: It has more enthusiasts, so the community will be more obedient to the agreed rules, namely carrying out clean and healthy living behavior activities that can optimize the performance of each individual.

Abstract

Background: Gadgets are one of common technological developments that are usedby all groups,including children. School-age children (6-12 years) use gadgets due toparents who are busy working and gadget prices are getting cheaper due tocompetition in the market.Objective: Reducing the negative impact of gadgets on children, especially schoolstudents.Method: One of the things that can be done is through educational game tools,namely playing snake-ladder games about the negative effects of gadgets. Result: The results obtained are that children's knowledge about the negative effects ofgadgets increases and it is expected to reduce the use of gadgets for school children. Conclusion: This activity was that the results of children's knowledge about thenegative effects of gadgets increased. Furthermore, it can be applied in other HealthCenter Services assisted areas by involving other audio-visual media.

Abstract

Background: In the target area in Gandul Village, there were 59 elderly women for the January–March 2023 period; 81.4% of hypertensive elderly women, and 66% did not routine check their health conditions at the nearest health service. Objective: Diagram the formulation of problems or needs based on the priority of problems related to non-communicable diseases and women's health throughout their life cycle together with the community. Methodology: The data taken was secondary data that we got from Cinere Health Centre. The method for prioritizing problems used the ultrasound method. So we determined problem of hypertension in elderly women was the main problem that occurs in Gandul Village area at this community station. Results: It was found that 81.4% of elderly women suffered from hypertension between January and March 2023. Therefore, the group intervened in the form of counseling on hypertension and providing nutrition for Seru Gasipala Juice (celery, orange, and papaya juice), which can help reduce high blood pressure in elderly women. Conclusion: Counseling on "Increasing the Knowledge of Elderly Women about Hypertension by Giving Celery, Orange, and Papaya Juice in Gandul Village" can help reduce and prevent high blood pressure. Increased knowledge and skills for health counseling participants about juicing with the lecture method. The empowerment of midwives and cadres in blood pressure monitoring expected to be well realized by giving several examples of how to give celery, orange, and papaya juice.

Abstract

Background: Community service is an activity that aims to help the community in several activities without expecting rewards in any form. Purpose: The purpose of community service is to educate mothers about the importance of paying attention to their child's weight. Method: The way community service works is by collecting data, determining problem priorities, preparing educational materials, demonstrations of making innovations, then conducting direct counseling to groups of mothers who have toddlers at RT 08 Kedoya Village. Evaluation is carried out by discussion or question and answer. Result: Based on the results of the implementation of community service counseling, there were 5 mothers who had toddlers with substandard nutritional status (BGM) and 11 additional participants including lecturers, midwives and cadres. This activity is carried out together with the team. The participants were very active during the activity with a question-and-answer session. The participants were also willing to accept innovation in the form of toddler banana smoothies (SMOTBANLIT). Conclusion: Providing innovation of toddler banana smoothies to improve digestion so that appetite increases so that they can increase the weight of toddlers with substandard nutritional status.

Abstract

Background: In the profile of the Pakuhaji Health Center in 2022, there were 3 major problems that occurred, seen from the K1 data for pregnant women, the target was 354 until March 2023, 312 achievements, from this data there is a gap of 11%. In childbirth assisted by health workers, the number of deliveries was 326, with 316 achieved up to March, from this data there was a gap of 14%. In newborns, the number of babies who underwent IMD was 244, 102 babies who received exclusive breastfeeding, from these adta there was a gap of 41.6%. Out of the three problems mentioned above, we conclude that the priority problem is the low coverage of exclusive breastfeeding. Objective: Carry out community service by carrying out activities ranging from collecting secondary data to conducting interventions and evaluating field activities. Methodology: The method used starts from situation analysis, continues with problem identification, and determines problem priorities. Then develop research instruments, surveys/research on problem determinants and collection of health databases, as well as conduct outreach. Results: Community midwifery practice carried out at BPM Hj. Yulyani, Pakuhaji, Tangerang Regency which was held at RT 02 RW 02 Kp. Rawakalong, Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency, has been carried out in the following stages: Regional Orientation, Self-Introduction Survey, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), Preparation of Planning of Action (POA), Intervention activities in the form of exclusive breastfeeding counseling to breastfeeding mothers and provision of snacks with GRADASI innovation (Exclusive Breastfeeding Awareness Movement), and ended with Evaluation and Closing. Conclusion: GRADASI activity is a combination of counseling and education activities about breastfeeding, complementary care practices in the form of Oxytocin massage and breast care in preparation for breastfeeding as well as the introduction of additional food for BOOSTER ASI made from Moringa Leaves. Hopefully the innovations we make can benefit the community.

Abstract

Background: Integrated Development Post (Posbindu) Neighbourhood 10 and 13 in 2023 the coverage of the elderly without diabetes mellitus is 87%, while the expected target of pregnant women who do not have diabetes mellitus is 90%. In the field, it shows the elderly with diabetes mellitus as much as 13%. One solution to overcome anemia in mothers by non-pharmacological means with the innovation of dragon fruit juice and yogurt. Objective: The purpose of community service is to educate the elderly about the importance of paying attention to blood sugar levels. Methods: community service followed by 10 elderly people, for experiments (getting dragon fruit juice and yogurt innovations). As an indicator to measure the success of giving dragon fruit juice and yogurt innovations to prevent diabetes mellitus in the elderly. Results: The implementation of community service activities begins with preparing educational materials in the form of power point materials and demonstrations of making innovations. After being given educational materials, tell pregnant women to make innovations at home so that they can consume them every day. The next 7 days will be observed every day by the implementation team of this community service activity. Conclusion: The innovations provided in the form of dragon fruit juice and yogurt are useful for reducing diabetes mellitus in the elderly.
