Abstract

Employee performance is the quality and quantity of work results achieved by an employee in carrying out it in accordance with the responsibilities given. Efforts to improve employee performance include paying attention to the level of workload experienced by employees. Is there a relationship between the mental workload between age and the length of time working for Daily Check employees and is there a relationship between the level of fatigue between age and the length of time working for Daily Check employees? What management efforts can be made to reduce the mental workload and fatigue levels of DC employees? This research aims to determine the mental workload and fatigue levels of daily inspection employees using the DRAWS Method and SOFI Method. The research also wanted to find out whether there was a relationship between mental workload, age and length of service for daily check employees. The results obtained by the research show that the mental workload of daily check employees is included in the overload category. The level of physical fatigue of employees is at a moderate level. There is a strong negative relationship between work mental load and age and length of service. Recommendations for reducing the mental workload of daily check employees are to provide training, time management, stress management skills, recognition, appreciation and regular evaluation.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce learning media mobile interactive on the Basics of Electronics Engineering subject which is valid and practical for class X students at SMK Negeri 2 Solok. The method used in this research is method Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model consisting of 4 stages, namely Define (Definition), Design (Planning), Develop (Development), and Disseminate (Dissemination). This research uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. This questionnaire will be filled out by material experts and media experts in the validity test and filled in by students in the practicality test. Based on data acquisition and processing, this research obtained the following results. First, the results of material validation by material experts are in the "Valid" category with a total validity value by the three material validators of 0.967 and the results of media validation by media experts are in the "Valid" category with a total validity value by the three media validators of 0.967. Second, at the practicality test stage by students involving 15 students obtained a practicality percentage of 95.67% which was categorized as "Very Practical". Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that interactive mobile learning media using Smart App Creator is suitable for use as interactive learning media in learning because it has been proven to be valid and practical.

Abstract

: Fire is one of the most detrimental hazards to the community, therefore a fire prevention system is needed to reduce the impact and losses caused by fire. This study aims to design a fire protection system that has a high level of reliability, capable of detecting various types of fires, this study aims to find out whether the provision of equipment in building A of Universitas PGRI Palembang has met the requirements according to the technical requirements of the fire protection system in buildings and the environment according to the regulation of the Minister of Public Works No.26/PRT/M/2008. The planning of the fire protection system in building A of the University of PGRI Palembang includes, planning the detector system, sprinklers, fire alarms, water volume and pumps. The results of the planning of this fire protection system are 22 detector points, 50 sprinkler points, a water volume of 190 m3, a water tank volume of 164 m3, a pump power of 112 kW, and a GWT capacity of 92 m3.

Abstract

Pan Brothers Tbk is one of the garment companies that adopted garment production in the form of 3D VR (Virtual Reality) as a garment prototype in Indonesia. In the process of making 3D VR products, many defective products must be revised. The study aims to implement the Six Sigma method and suggest improvements to reduce defects in 3D VR garment products using the Six Sigma method with the stages of defining, measuring, analyzing, improving, and controlling. In the define stage, the identification of the production process using the SIPOC diagram and identifying the type of defect. In the measure stage, the DPMO and sigma value calculations are carried out. The most defects are fitting not balanced and properly with a DPMO value of 269619.2 and a sigma value of 2.11. In the analysis stage with a fishbone diagram shows the factors that cause defects, namely man, machine, material, method, and environment. In the improvement stage, suggestions for improvements are given to reduce defects in 3D VR garment products. In the control stage, quality control is carried out by conducting internal training, upskilling, creating inspection report forms, adding teams to the QC division, and adding SOPs for the 3D VR producing process.

Abstract

Freon is one of the refrigerants used in refrigeration systems. The refrigeration system has a very important role, namely to preserve food ingredients so that food can last longer. The use of freon is not only used in ships but is widely found in home appliances in refrigeration systems used in freezers, air conditioners, refrigerators, and dispensers. If more freon is used, the negative impact that arises is greater, namely the depletion of the ozone layer and global warming which can have a bad influence on health, the life of living things and the environment. The purpose of this researcher is to create a tool to reduce the negative impact of freon use, namely by using peltier as a cooling medium with environmentally friendly thermoelectric modules. This study uses trial and error methods. Where the trial process is carried out by turning on one of the working push buttons and observing the temperature value. Then it is processed by the control system, namely Arduino Mega which will later provide a PWM output signal to the IRF540 mosfet when the output temperature value is in line with the reference value and vice versa. The test of this tool was carried out by comparing measurements between the author's prototype tool and the standard measuring tool, namely the digital thermometer. Based on the test results, this device can produce a minimum temperature of 140C at 30-minute intervals without any media. The trial using 330ml bottled water can reach a temperature of 170C within 30 minutes in the cooler box. This tool is also equipped with an automatic monitoring system using a PWM signal in the form of a change in fan speed, which is 255 RPS maximum speed and when getting a PWM signal it changes to 50 RPS. The percentage of errors resulting from the comparison of standard measuring instruments and sensor values had the highest and lowest percentages of 2.37% and 0.84% in cold dispersion conditions without charge. Then the highest and lowest error percentages were 1.69% and 0.72% in the state of containing a load of 1 330ml mineral bottle. This ptototype uses data recording using Micro-SD as a data logger.

Abstract

The tourism sector in regional development, especially in Klaten, contributes significantly to income through various tourism potentials. The Klaten regional government is trying to increase this potential by developing facilities, providing comprehensive information, and increasing accessibility. The development of information and communication technology also encourages innovation in the tourism system. Apart from that, this study also highlights the phenomenon of queuing at public service facilities, such as in Umbul Pelem, which is caused by an imbalance between the number of customers and service capacity. With an average of 20 customers per day and a service time of 5-10 minutes per person, the system currently uses two service counters.

Abstract

This study focuses on the design of the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for a pizza shop application using the Design Thinking method. Aiming to enhance convenience and efficiency in the ordering process, the method involves five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The UI design is developed to ensure an attractive and user-friendly interface, while the UX emphasizes ease of navigation and user satisfaction. The resulting prototype includes essential features such as product menus, shopping cart, and order tracking. Usability testing shows that the application effectively simplifies online pizza ordering, improving the overall shopping experience for users.

Abstract

The selection of campus ambassadors at Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis is one of the activities carried out annually. The selection of campus ambassadors aims to prepare the best students to become student representatives in internal and external campus activities. The campus ambassador assessment process is carried out in three stages, namely pre-quarantine, quarantine and grand final. A websitebased Decision Support System for campus ambassador finalist candidates is needed to help the committee and judges in the finalist selection process to be faster and more accurate. This system uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method which has weights on each criterion. The result of applying the SAW method to the system is to display rankings that can help in determining the campus ambassador finalist champion. From 31 field data, the application of the SAW method on this system has an accuracy of 96,6%. The software development method used is the Rational Unified Process (RUP).

Abstract

As time goes by, technology is developing very rapidly, especially in education, technology can be used to support learning. For example, at SDN 04 Sukoharjo, the author found a problem or obstacle that in science learning, photosynthesis material still uses the lecture method, using LKS books, so it is still monotonous, making students bored and not interested, because photosynthesis material is a biological process that cannot be seen directly. Therefore, researchers utilized technology, especially in multimedia, to create 2D animated learning videos of the photosynthesis process. The research method uses the ADDIE method, namely (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The final result of this research is a 2D animation learning video of the science lesson process of photosynthesis.

Abstract

Pondok Baru Furniture Store located in Makamhaji Kartasura is a business that operates in the field of manufacturing and selling furniture. There are problems in managing sales transaction data, stock of goods, and sales reports which still use manual methods, sometimes resulting in errors in recording. The current purchasing system which requires coming to the shop to see and buy the products being sold is very troublesome. And consumers want to know about the products being sold without having to come to the shop directly. Therefore, researchers created a web-based sales information system to overcome this problem. The method used in system development is the prototype method with data collection through interviews. The result is a web sales information system design that makes it easier for buyers to access products offered anywhere and carry out purchase transactions online. This system design is expected to produce more accurate data in processing sales data and sales reports.
