Abstract

Permasalahan sosial perkotaan seperti gelandangan, pengemis, anak jalanan, dan lansia terlantar memerlukan intervensi kebijakan yang tidak hanya bersifat karitatif, tetapi juga berorientasi pada rehabilitasi sosial yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Program Rehabilitasi Sosial di Rumah Perlindungan Sosial (RPS) Kota Medan serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitasnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, serta teori implementasi kebijakan Van Meter dan Van Horn (1975). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program telah berjalan pada aspek perlindungan sementara, pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar, dan penanganan awal penerima manfaat, namun belum optimal pada tahap rehabilitasi berkelanjutan. Temuan empiris menunjukkan adanya keterbatasan sumber daya manusia profesional, belum tersedianya program pelatihan keterampilan yang sistematis, lemahnya monitoring pascarehabilitasi, serta belum optimalnya koordinasi lintas sektor. Kondisi ini menyebabkan penerima manfaat berpotensi kembali pada kondisi kerentanan sosial. Penelitian ini berkontribusi menegaskan pentingnya integrasi kapasitas sumber daya, penguatan monitoring berkelanjutan, dan pengembangan pemberdayaan ekonomi sebagai faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan implementasi kebijakan rehabilitasi sosial di tingkat daerah.

Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi masalah kesehatan serius di Kota Medan, terutama di wilayah Medan Belawan dan Medan Labuhan yang menunjukkan angka kejadian relatif tinggi. Kondisi ini mendorong perlunya kolaborasi lintas sektor, termasuk keterlibatan sektor swasta melalui program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi CSR PT Pertamina (Persero) dalam penanganan stunting melalui program BAAS (Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting). Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan model implementasi kebijakan yang mencakup organization, interpretation, dan application. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program CSR telah berjalan secara sistematis melalui kegiatan edukasi gizi, pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT), serta pemantauan tumbuh kembang balita. Temuan lapangan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan partisipasi posyandu hingga sekitar 60–70% pada wilayah yang aktif menerima intervensi program, serta peningkatan pengetahuan gizi orang tua berdasarkan hasil wawancara kader kesehatan. Namun, efektivitas program belum merata, terutama di wilayah dengan modal sosial rendah seperti Medan Belawan. Perbedaan ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor koordinasi stakeholder, kepemimpinan lokal, dan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, CSR PT Pertamina berkontribusi signifikan dalam mendukung penurunan stunting, tetapi masih diperlukan penguatan koordinasi lintas sektor dan pendekatan berbasis wilayah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program secara berkelanjutan. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penguatan model implementasi CSR berbasis kesehatan dengan pendekatan sosial-spasial di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of Glad2Glow’s brand personality in the endorsement content of the cast of Asmara Gen Z as a public relations practice on TikTok. The study is motivated by the increasing use of popular culture figures in digital brand communication, particularly in the fast beauty industry, where brands are required to establish identities that are relevant to Generation Z audiences. This study applies Aaker’s brand personality framework, which consists of five dimensions: sincerity, excitement, competence, sophistication, and ruggedness. This research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis methods. Primary data were obtained from 65 TikTok endorsement videos uploaded by eight cast members of Asmara Gen Z promoting Glad2Glow products. Secondary data were collected from journals, books, and relevant literature. Data collection techniques included non-participant observation and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, categorization, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Glad2Glow’s brand personality is represented through repetitive content patterns integrated with popular TikTok trends. The excitement dimension emerged as the most dominant characteristic, portraying the brand as energetic, trend-aware, and closely connected to Generation Z digital culture. The findings also indicate that the cast endorsements function as a public relations practice through brand humanization, message standardization, and the creation of emotional closeness with audiences. This study confirms that digital endorsement functions not only as a promotional tool but also as a strategic mechanism for brand identity construction on social media.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have encouraged local governments in Indonesia to adopt the concept of smart cities to improve the quality of public services. In Makassar, implementation is carried out through e-government, digital service portals, and public applications. This implementation still faces obstacles in the form of low public participation, limited digital literacy, and less optimal policy socialization. This research aims to analyze the role of strategic communication in increasing public understanding and participation in digital services. The method used is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies of the government, service managers, and the community. The results of the study show that strategic communication through digital media, direct socialization, and community collaboration increase awareness and use of services. Participatory approaches have proven effective, although low digital literacy and information inconsistencies are still barriers. This study concludes that strategic communication plays an important role in the successful implementation of smart cities through inclusive and sustainable strategies.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital media has significantly influenced children’s interaction patterns within the family, particularly among Generation Alpha who have been exposed to technology from an early age. This condition has contributed to the emergence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), defined as a feeling of anxiety about missing important social experiences. This study aims to examine parental communication patterns in addressing FOMO among Generation Alpha children in family environments in Medan Johor District. This study employs a qualitative approach using a phenomenological method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving parents who have experience accompanying their children in using digital media. The findings indicate that FOMO in children manifests through a desire to follow trends, imitate viral content, and emotional responses such as tantrums, emotional instability, and dependency on gadgets. The results also show that parental communication patterns tend to fall into two main orientations: conformity orientation, characterized by rules and restrictions, and conversation orientation, characterized by dialogue and education. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on FOMO among Generation Alpha children within the context of family communication, which remains underexplored in previous research. The study concludes that a balanced combination of firmness and openness in parental communication contributes to helping children manage their digital experiences in a healthier way.

Abstract

This study discusses the relationship between corporate legal form and the application of Return on Equity (ROE) as a financial performance indicator in corporate management. Using a normative legal approach, this study shows that the legal form of a company greatly influences the use of ROE in managerial practices and sustainable corporate governance. ROE is used to measure the effectiveness of equity capital in generating profits, which forms the basis for evaluating profitability and managerial efficiency. In the Indonesian legal context, although ROE is not explicitly regulated in legislation, its application is supported by various regulations that emphasise transparency, accountability, and integrity in financial reporting. This study also highlights the role of ROE in strategic decision-making such as investment, dividend distribution, and business expansion, as well as the legal risks arising from ROE manipulation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe language attitudes in efforts to maintain the Sasak language in the Jempong Village community, Mataram City, with a focus on adolescents. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method with a sociolinguistic approach. Data consisted of the speech, views, and language behavior of Sasak speakers, obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique involving adolescents, adults, and community leaders. Data analysis was based on Garvin and Mathiot's language attitude theory, which encompasses language loyalty, language pride, and awareness of language norms. The results indicate that the language attitudes of the Sasak community in Jempong Village tend to be positive, characterized by the use of Sasak in family and community settings and a sense of pride in the regional language as a cultural identity. However, among adolescents, a tendency toward language shift was observed, particularly in education and social settings, due to the dominance of Indonesian and foreign languages. This study concludes that the maintenance of the Sasak language is ongoing, but requires strengthening the roles of the family, education, and social environment to maintain positive language attitudes among the younger generation.

Abstract

Perluasan pedagogi digital di sekolah-sekolah Islam telah mengintensifkan ketegangan antara transmisi nilai-nilai agama dan pemenuhan persyaratan akademik dan berbasis kompetensi dari kurikulum nasional Indonesia, namun bukti empiris tentang bagaimana guru benar-benar mendamaikan keduanya di tingkat kelas masih langka. Penelitian ini meneliti bagaimana guru di MTsS Minhajul Ishlah Tebo, sekolah menengah pertama swasta Islam di Provinsi Jambi, menegosiasikan nilai-nilai Islam dan tuntutan kurikulum nasional melalui praktik pembelajaran digital. Desain studi kasus kualitatif digunakan, berdasarkan data dari 14 informan, kepala madrasah, enam guru mata pelajaran agama dan umum, dan tujuh siswa dari kelas VIII dan IX yang dipilih secara sengaja. Data dihasilkan melalui 14 wawancara semi-terstruktur selama 45-60 menit, 12 observasi kelas menggunakan protokol terstruktur, dan analisis 21 dokumen perencanaan pelajaran dan bahan ajar digital. Analisis tematik mengikuti model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña, dengan kredibilitas yang terjamin melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode dan pemeriksaan anggota. Lima tema yang saling terkait muncul: konvergensi kurikulum terjadi pada tingkat implementasi pedagogis daripada revisi dokumen formal; guru bertindak sebagai mediator nilai di seluruh mata pelajaran agama dan umum; media digital (grup WhatsApp, video instruksional, dan e-modul) berfungsi sebagai pembawa pesan moral dan agama; pembelajaran digital memperkuat motivasi siswa, pembentukan karakter, dan literasi digital; dan integrasi terkendala oleh kesenjangan infrastruktur dan kompetensi digital guru yang tidak merata. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa negosiasi tingkat kelas, yang didukung oleh agensi guru dan mediasi digital, menawarkan model yang layak untuk pengembangan pelajar holistik di sekolah-sekolah Islam dan menunjukkan perlunya pengembangan kapasitas kelembagaan.

Abstract

The proliferation of digital technologies has reshaped contemporary classrooms, yet Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in Indonesian schools largely retains lecture-based instruction that frequently fails to sustain learner engagement. Prior studies have examined educational technology broadly, but syntheses focused on how digital media shape motivation within IRE remain limited, particularly regarding the typologies of media most effective for spiritual and moral content. This study aimed to map the influence of digital media on IRE learning motivation, identify the most effective media typologies, and document the principal barriers to adoption. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 protocol. Peer-reviewed publications issued between January 2019 and December 2024 were retrieved from Scopus, ERIC, DOAJ, and SINTA-indexed databases using Boolean strings combining "digital media," "interactive media," "augmented reality," "virtual reality," "learning motivation," and "Islamic education." Of 318 records identified, 46 articles met the inclusion criteria, with inter-rater agreement of κ = 0.84 (substantial agreement). Thematic content analysis revealed that audiovisual media particularly animated videos were associated with motivational gains in 39.1% of the corpus; interactive applications and gamified platforms increased classroom engagement; and immersive AR/VR, although appearing in only 13.0% of studies, produced the largest reported gains for spiritual and historical narratives. Recurring obstacles included infrastructural limitations (60.9%) and insufficient teacher digital-pedagogical competence (54.3%). Digital media exert a positive influence on IRE motivation when integrated through pedagogically grounded designs that embed Islamic ethical values, addressing cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions concurrently.

Abstract

Character-related competencies have become a central concern in Indonesian schooling under the Merdeka Curriculum, which mandates the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) across school subjects. While prior research has examined P5 implementation in primary schools and in general subject areas, empirical evidence on how its values are embedded in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the junior secondary level remains limited, particularly with respect to the pedagogical mechanisms that translate spiritual content into character outcomes. This study examined how Pancasila Student Profile values are integrated through P5 in PAI learning at SMP Negeri 2 Jujuhan, a public junior secondary school in Bungo Regency, Indonesia. A qualitative descriptive design was applied, drawing on classroom observations across six PAI sessions and four P5 project sessions, semi-structured interviews with the principal, two PAI teachers, the P5 coordinator, and twelve students, and document analysis of teaching modules and school records. Data were analyzed through interactive analysis (data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing), with source and method triangulation, member checking, and audit-trail maintenance used to verify trustworthiness. The findings indicate that integration occurs across three phases—planning, enactment, and evaluation—organized around four operative dimensions: faith and devotion, mutual cooperation, independence, and critical reasoning. The faith-and-devotion dimension was the most salient, while critical-reasoning competencies emerged more gradually and required intensive teacher scaffolding. Constraints centered on instructional time and uneven teacher readiness. The study contributes a religious-contextual integration model linking spiritual content with civic competencies, offering a structured pathway for character formation in Islamic education at the junior secondary level.
