Abstract

Benefits of the Independent Student Exchange Program, FKIP Students, HKBP Nommensen University Medan This study aims to determine the benefits of the Independent Student Exchange Program for Outbound students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, HKBP Nommensen University, Medan, and to measure the level of satisfaction of the Independent Student Exchange Program participants. This study design uses a quantitative research approach with descriptive quantitative data collection techniques through questionnaires, involving a sample of 54 students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, UHN Medan, who have participated in the Independent Student Exchange Program. The description of the research results shows an average questionnaire score of 4.00%, with the questionnaire score categorized as agreeing with the benefits of the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) in developing students' academics, careers, cultural understanding, and soft skills. The benefits of the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) in terms of facilities and institutional support during the PMM at the target university. The benefits of implementing the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) in terms of the learning experience at the target university. The benefits of the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) in terms of students' social and professional development. Thus, the Independent Student Exchange Program benefits students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education's Outbound Program at HKBP Nommensen University

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the types of code-switching and the reasons for using code-switching found on YouTube channels by Indonesian influencers, namely Fathia Izzati Saripudin and Najwa Shihab. This research uses qualitative descriptive research. Data were taken from the transcripts of two YouTube videos featuring FIS and NS. The analysis focused on the types and reasons of code-switching based on Hoffman’s theory (1991), which classifies code-switching into three types: inter-sentential code-switching, intra-sentential code-switching, and tag-switching, as well as seven reasons for its use, namely talking about a particular topic, quoting somebody else, being emphatic about something, interjection, repetition used for clarification, expressing group identity, and intention of clarifying speech content for the interlocutor. The results showed that in FIS’s utterances, intra-sentential code-switching was the most dominant type with 117 data (77.48%), followed by inter-sentential code-switching with 33 data (21.85%), and tag-switching with 1 data (0.66%). Similarly, in NS’s utterances, intra-sentential code-switching was also the most dominant type with 28 data (84.85%), followed by tag-switching with 3 data (9.09%), and inter-sentential code-switching with 2 data (6.06%). Furthermore, in FIS’s utterances, the most dominant reason was talking about a particular topic with 76 data (50.33%), followed by being emphatic about something with 56 data (37.08%), intention of clarifying speech content for the interlocutor with 6 data (3.97%), quoting somebody else with 5 data (3.31%), repetition used for clarification, and expressing group identity each has 3 data (1.99%) and the last is interjection with 2 data (1.32%). In NS’s utterances, the most dominant reason was being emphatic about something with 19 data (57.58%), followed by talking about a particular topic with 6 data (18.18%). Quoting somebody else, intention of clarifying speech content for the interlocutor, and interjection each occurred 2 times (6.06%), while expressing group identity and repetition used for clarification each occurred once (3.03%). This research concludes that code-switching is not merely a speaking style but also serves as an important communicative strategy in digital media, reflecting how influencers manage interaction and adapt their language to audience needs, thereby enhancing communication effectiveness.

Abstract

The increasing use of social media as a public communication space has led to the widespread emergence of hate speech, particularly in Instagram comment sections related to government issues. This research aims to analyze manifestations of hate speech through illocutionary acts on the Instagram accounts @presidenrepublikindonesia and @kemensetneg_ri, classify their forms based on the National Police Chief’s Circular Letter No. SE/06/X/2015, and identify the most dominant types found in the data. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative analysis. The data consists of 200 Instagram comments collected from posts related to public policy and government activities. Analysis was conducted using a pragmatic approach based on illocutionary acts, specifically expressive, directive, and assertive acts as proposed by John Searle, and further classified into categories of hate speech such as insults, defamation, and provocation. The results of the research indicate that expressive speech acts are the most dominant, suggesting that users primarily express negative emotions such as anger, disappointment, and sarcasm. In terms of hate speech classification, insults emerged as the most frequent category, followed by defamation and provocation. Although most of the statements do not fully meet the legal criteria under the ITE Law, they still have the potential to cause negative effects in digital communication. These findings indicate that the line between criticism and hate speech remains unclear among social media users and highlight the importance of understanding language use in a digital context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena Living Qur'an dalam rangkaian tradisi pranikah masyarakat Minangkabau serta peran otoritas Niniak Mamak dalam mengintegrasikan hukum Munakahat Islam ke dalam tatanan adat. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi literatur sepuluh tahun terakhir (2016-2026), riset ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana teks al-Qur'an dipahami, difungsikan, dan direspon dalam praktik sosial-budaya. Kebaruan penelitian ini secara eksplisit terletak pada analisis komprehensif mengenai dialektika antara teks suci dan praktik lokal yang dimediasi oleh otoritas tradisional dalam satu dekade terakhir, guna menutup kesenjangan analisis terkait fungsi spesifik ayat Al-Qur'an sebagai instrumen perlindungan (himayah) dan legitimasi nasab. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik Living Qur'an termanifestasi secara sistematis melalui tahapan ritual seperti Khatam al-Qur'an sebagai prasyarat kedewasaan religius, serta Malam Bainai yang mengalihfungsikan ayat-ayat suci sebagai sarana perlindungan (himayah) dan keberkahan (tabarruk). Ayat-ayat spesifik seperti QS. Ar-Rum: 21 digunakan secara fungsional sebagai fondasi filosofis pembentukan keluarga sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah, sementara QS. An-Nahl: 72 diintegrasikan untuk memperkuat legitimasi nasab dalam sistem matrilineal. Peran Niniak Mamak ditemukan sangat krusial, tidak hanya sebagai pemegang otoritas administratif dalam pemberian izin nikah (model NA), tetapi juga sebagai komunikator budaya yang menjelaskan status hukum pernikahan (Wajib, Sunnah, Mubah, Makruh, Haram) kepada calon mempelai. Secara filosofis, integrasi ini mencerminkan adagium Adat Basandi Syarak, Syarak Basandi Kitabullah, di mana Niniak Mamak bertindak sebagai hakam (mediator) yang menyelaraskan nilai-nilai al-Qur'an dengan kearifan lokal guna menjamin ketahanan moral dan sosial keluarga.

Abstract

Difusi alat kecerdasan buatan generatif (GenAI), khususnya ChatGPT, telah membentuk kembali kemungkinan pengajaran di seluruh sistem pendidikan global, namun integrasi alat-alat ini ke dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (IRE) di tingkat madrasah masih kurang diperiksa. Studi ini menyajikan tinjauan literatur terstruktur yang memetakan percakapan ilmiah saat ini tentang penggunaan AI di IRE untuk pengaturan madrasah primer dan sekunder, dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi temuan konvergen, kesenjangan yang terus-menerus, dan ketegangan yang muncul. Empat puluh satu artikel peer-review yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 dan 2026 diambil dari jurnal terakreditasi Scopus, Web of Science, dan SINTA, kemudian disintesis secara tematik melalui prosedur pengkodean induktif. Tinjauan ini mengidentifikasi enam kluster berulang: integrasi pedagogis, kesiapan guru dan kompetensi AI-TPACK, hasil belajar siswa, masalah etika dan teologis, rekonstruksi kurikulum dan kebijakan, dan integritas akademik dalam menghadapi halusinasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa alat AI mendukung personalisasi konten, keterlibatan, dan persiapan pelajaran, tetapi menimbulkan pertanyaan yang belum terselesaikan tentang akurasi doktrin, dimensi spiritual pembelajaran, dan pembentukan adab al-'ilm di antara peserta didik. Tinjauan ini mengusulkan kerangka kerja tiga dimensi yang menghubungkan pertimbangan teknologi, pedagogis, dan teologis-etika sebagai dasar untuk penyelidikan empiris di masa depan. Implikasi bagi guru madrasah, pengembang kurikulum, dan pembuat kebijakan Kementerian Agama RI dibahas.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed media consumption patterns in Indonesia, including the way audiences discover and engage with films. Social media, creative digital content, and influencer marketing have become essential components of promotional strategies in the film industry, as they enable production companies to build emotional engagement with audiences. In this context, film producers are required to design effective digital promotion strategies to attract viewers and enhance customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital promotion strategies carried out by PT Ruang Visual in promoting the film Rumah Teteh, and to examine the role of social media marketing activities and influencer marketing in shaping audience perceptions and customer satisfaction within the Indonesian film industry.This research employs a qualitative approach using an autoethnographic method, involving eight informants consisting of producers, content creators, audiences, and other stakeholders within the film promotion ecosystem. The findings reveal that digital promotion strategies utilizing platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook effectively increase audience awareness and generate early enthusiasm toward the film. In addition, collaboration with credible influencers strengthens audience trust and creates positive perceptions about the film. The study also finds that audience satisfaction is strongly influenced by the consistency between promotional messages and the actual viewing experience, as explained by Expectation–Disconfirmation Theory. Overall, integrated digital promotion strategies can enhance audience engagement and customer satisfaction in the film industry

Abstract

This paper examines the role of Islamic philosophy, particularly Islamic ethics, as a philosophical framework for conflict resolution within contemporary societies that are increasingly pluralistic, complex, and vulnerable to social conflict. Rapid social transformation, technological advancement, globalization, and the increasing polarization of identities have contributed to the emergence of various forms of religious, ethnic, cultural, and ideological conflicts. In this context, the study aims to examine how Islamic philosophy can contribute to the prevention, resolution, and transformation of conflicts through ethical and philosophical approaches. This research employs a qualitative approach using the library research method, drawing upon both classical and contemporary literature related to Islamic philosophy, Islamic ethics, conflict resolution, and peace studies. The findings reveal that Islamic philosophy possesses rational, critical, spiritual, and humanistic characteristics capable of shaping wise individuals in responding to differences and social conflicts. Islamic ethics, which emphasizes the values of justice (‘adl), compassion (rahmah), tolerance (tasamuh), moderation (wasatiyyah), peace (sulh), and brotherhood (ukhuwwah), has proven to be highly relevant as a moral foundation for fostering reconciliation and social harmony. Furthermore, the teachings of the Qur’an and Hadith provide important principles concerning mediation, dialogue, forgiveness, and respect for human dignity as essential mechanisms for conflict resolution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi sarana dan prasarana ruang kelas serta pemanfaatannya dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Balirejo Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, enam guru wali kelas, dan tiga belas siswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi fisik ruang kelas secara umum baik, ditunjang fasilitas memadai seperti LCD/proyektor, papan tulis, kipas angin, dan buku ajar. Pemanfaatan sarana berlangsung secara optimal dan variatif: guru mengintegrasikan teknologi (laptop, LCD) dengan media konvensional, serta menciptakan media ajar mandiri ketika fasilitas terbatas. Kendala yang ditemukan bersifat parsial, yakni kerusakan meja-kursi kayu akibat rayap pada kelas V, satu kipas angin rusak, dan dinding yang memerlukan pengecatan ulang. Siswa secara umum merasa nyaman dan aktif berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan sarana prasarana yang terencana dan kreativitas guru merupakan dua pilar utama yang menentukan efektivitas pembelajaran. Rekomendasi diarahkan pada perawatan berkala, penganggaran penggantian inventaris, perluasan akses internet, dan pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning outcomes in the science subjects emphasize the competencies of conceptual understanding and process skills. Learning outcomes in science, especially physics, are essentially related to how to systematically find out about nature, so that science is not only the mastery of a body of knowledge in the form of facts, concepts, or principles but also a process of discovery through investigation or experimentation. Investigation or experimentation can train students to acquire scientific process skills. In addition to developing scientific process skills, physics learning is expected to encourage students to become active learners and think critically in analyzing and applying concepts to solve problems in everyday life. Related to the above problem, there is a need for a model that orients learning to real problems that can create student involvement in the teaching and learning process to cultivate, develop scientific process skills and foster conceptual understanding in solving students' problems. Getting used to scientific work is expected to foster habits of thinking and acting that reflect students' mastery of scientific knowledge, skills, and attitudes, so that the learning model will automatically result in increased scientific knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students as a result of learning. The characteristics of the model above are in the Problem-Based Learning Model. One characteristic of problem-based learning is that the problems presented are expected to have no single answer or single solution. This provides a very broad opportunity for students to explore their potential. Students have the freedom according to their nature in different or differentiated ways. Differentiated learning is creating a diverse class by providing opportunities to acquire content, process an idea and improve the results of each student, so that students can learn more effectively. By using the Problem Based Learning model integrated with differentiated learning, it is hoped that it can facilitate students in expressing their freedom in learning. The output to be achieved is publication in a SINTA-accredited journal, which can be cited by other researchers

Abstract

The German language learning process in today's era requires educators to be able to develop better teaching materials. The industrial revolution 4.0 requires educators to be more creative and innovative in implementing the learning and teaching process in the classroom. One of the supports for a good learning and teaching process is innovative teaching materials that increase students' knowledge. Specifically in German language learning, there are four skills that are the focus of learning: speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Speaking and writing skills are included as productive language skills, namely skills that can produce a work/product. Writing skills also require students to think creatively and innovatively. Writing skills (Schreibfertigkeit) cover linguistic material and also discuss various forms of texts/short discourses that at the A2 GER level correspond to themes that intersect with everyday life. In line with this, the development of teaching modules is one of the urgent matters in improving students' writing skills. Modules can foster student independence, because teaching modules contain materials and learning processes that will help students in understanding the learning. In line with that, it is hoped that this research aims to build students' self-confidence after the learning material can be learned from the module, because the teaching module delivered is very close and can be mastered correctly, and is expected to improve students' abilities in doing assignments related to writing skills. The approach in this study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. The type of research used is a development research type with a 4D model, namely define, design, development, dissemination. The subjects of this study were all students of the German Language Education Study Program Semester 3 (three) HKBP Nommensen University Pematang Siantar. The data collection technique is by testing learning outcomes in accordance with the teaching material in learning writing skills (Schreibfertigkeit). The targeted output is publication in an accredited international or national journal
