Abstract

The crime of illegal sand mining is a problem that requires the attention of various parties. The current phenomenon is that illegal mining is rampant among individuals and companies. Based on data from the Central Lampung Police, illegal mining crimes occur every year, while data from Walhi Lampung and the Environmental Service shows that there are still very few mining activities that have IUPs. This shows that illegal mining crime is a problem that must be handled by various elements. The research method used is a Normative Juridical and Empirical Juridical approach. Sources and types of data in research were obtained from field studies with interviews and literature studies. This research was conducted at the Central Lampung Police, lecturers at the Faculty of Law, Unila University, Walhi Lampung, and the Environmental Service. The results of this research describe that the police do not only focus on law enforcement, but also focus on preventative efforts to tackle illegal mining crimes. Even though Law Number 3 of 2020 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining, the Police does not contain the authority of the Police in mining crimes. However, the police as the front guard of law enforcement officials must make countermeasures. This includes pre-emptive efforts to identify potential risks that cause illegal mining to occur. Monitoring efforts are carried out actively and periodically and are routinely used as an effort to detect potential crimes before they develop into real crimes. The preventive approach involves outreach and education activities in areas where there is potential for mining to increase public awareness about the negative impacts of illegal mining crimes. Then the last one is repressive efforts as a form of providing legal certainty

This theory examines messages in the form of new ideas or thoughts, which cause social change. From the research results, this innovation communication has 4 stages, namely. In this research it can be concluded based on the results of the analysis using Roger's theory which has 4 points, This innovation distribution explains that the involvement of communicators provides information in the form of socialization in the form of a content that states information about how to claim or submit compensation from Jasa Raharja. A communicator does not only work alone, this communicator is the Head of Public Relations, Jasa Raharja, who works together with the compensation service staff to collaborate with the community to make it easier and more affordable. With new innovations, since 2009, compensation services for accident victims have gone from conventional forms to online services. This communication channel uses social media, namely in the form of Instagram and Tik Tok, then uses print media, television media and radio media. By implementing the Innovation Division, it has made progress, but of course there are still new innovations, of course this is influenced by factors that hinder the establishment of this innovation, one of which is awareness. The awareness of users or local people who use vehicles in traffic, whether land, sea or air, of course they do not have awareness.

Abstract

The background of this research focuses on the impact of climate change in Australia, caused by extreme temperature fluctuations that have resulted in various social, environmental, and economic consequences. This study is analyzed using Green Politics theory and Propaganda theory, both of which play a significant role in shaping policies and public perceptions related to these issues. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, which guides the investigation to explore or capture the situation to be studied comprehensively, broadly, and in depth, specifically through the analysis of Green Party propaganda from the perspective of Green Politics concerning the impact of climate change in Australia. Data were collected through public documents, books, scientific journals, mass media, and websites accessed from the internet. The findings indicate that Green Politics theory provides an effective framework for understanding how environmental policies in Australia can be influenced by political ideologies and economic interests. Meanwhile, propaganda theory reveals that the propaganda techniques used by the Australian Green Party, as proposed by Harold Lasswell, have proven to significantly increase public awareness and support for more progressive climate policies, despite facing inherent challenges. This study concludes that the integration of these two theories offers deep insights into the political dynamics underlying responses to climate change in Australia.

This research is an effort to find out how to analyze the recruitment of prospective legislative members in the 2024 elections (Case Study of the Golkar Party, Bogor Regency). Therefore, the method considered appropriate to use in this study is qualitative, descriptive analysis. The data collection technique through interviews is by asking a list of questions directly to the informant with the aim of obtaining data and information related to the Recruitment Analysis of Candidates for Legislative Members in the 2024 Election (Case Study of the Bogor Regency Golkar Party). The data collection instrument used to collect data is an interview guide containing a list of questions using a direct question and answer method with informants who are authorities on the object under study. Observation (observation) is a data collection technique, where the researcher makes direct observations of the research object to look closely at the activities carried out. This research found that from the three characteristics of the recruitment process above, the recruitment process carried out by the Bogor Regency Golkar party DPD was mixed in nature, combining top-dwon and bottom-up. We can see from the selection procedures listed in the DPP Decree Number: JUKLAK - 11/DPP/GOLKAR/V/2018 that the selection procedures begin with the selection team submitting a form of willingness to be nominated as a Candidate Member of the Regency DPRD to all members of the functionary cadre who have attended functionary orientation either organized by the Golkar Party DPP or the Regency Golkar Party DPD.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to find out how the policy for preventing and handling sexual violence is implemented for students on UMJ campus. The theory used is from of T.B. Smith which consists of several indicators, namely a) Idealized Policy; b) Target Group; c) Implementing Organization; and d) Environmental Factors. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data obtained by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that: 1) Idealized Policy, Muhammadiyah University Jakarta has derivative regulations, but they have not been massively informed; 2) Target Groups, namely this regulation is intended for students, but its implementation is not yet optimal; 3) Implementing Organization, UMJ has a PPKS institution which has a program concept, but students as a whole are not yet aware of the existence of this institution; 4) Environmental Factors, Permendikbudristek No. 30 of 2021 cannot be said to be completely in line with the Islamic campus cultural environment because the regulation contains the phrase 'without the victim's consent' which is biased in meaning. Apart from that, the shift in Islamic culture at UMJ was also caused by many factors, such as social, economic and political factors involving power relations.

Abstract

Access to mental healthcare, especially psychopharmacological treatment, for people with psychosocial disabilities (ODDP) remains a significant challenge in Indonesia. Discrepancies between regulations and their implementation, coupled with limited availability of psychiatric medications, pose major obstacles. This research analyzes the collaborative efforts of the Mental Health Association (PJS) and its strategic partners in advocating for increased access to medication for ODDP. The research focuses on the stages of advocacy, the roles of each partner, the collaboration process, and the outcomes of these advocacy efforts. Employing a qualitative approach, this research involved in-depth interviews with PJS officials to explore the roles of partner institutions in advocacy. The findings reveal that PJS has systematically engaged in advocacy, collaborating with various strategic partners such as BPJS Watch, WHO Indonesia, and PDSKJI. This collaborative effort has proven effective in identifying issues, formulating solutions, and driving policy changes. However, challenges such as limited resources and the complexity of the issues persist. The research concludes that collaboration among partner institutions is key to improving access to medication, particularly psychiatric medications, for ODDP. Sustained and measurable advocacy is necessary to ensure that ODDP can obtain equitable and accessible quality mental health services.
