Abstract

Fixed asset management is a crucial component in supporting the performance of local governments. However, the Polewali Mandar Regency Government still faces obstacles in managing assets conventionally, such as the risk of recording errors, duplicate data, and difficulties in field data verification which is time-consuming. This study aims to design and build a Web-Based Fixed Asset Management Information System integrated with Quick Response Code (QR Code) technology as a digital solution for real-time asset data collection, tracking, and monitoring. The approach taken for system development is known as the Waterfall approach, encompassing the phases of analyzing requirements, system design, execution, evaluation, and ongoing support. The creation of the system was carried out utilizing the PHP coding language, the MySQL database system, and Tailwind CSS to achieve a mobile-friendly interface. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and literature studies at the General Affairs Division of the Regional Secretariat of Polewali Mandar Regency. The result of this research is a fixed asset management information system featuring the generation of unique QR Code labels for each asset, category and location management, and reporting features divided into three access levels: Admin, Operator, and Verificator. Based on the system testing results, an average score of above 4.00 was obtained for indicators of ease of use (user-friendly), access speed, and information accuracy. In conclusion, the implementation of this QR Code-based system is proven to increase the efficiency of the asset identification process in the field, minimize manual input errors, and improve accountability in regional asset management in Polewali Mandar Regency.

Abstract

Dengue fever is a disease commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions. This disease can cause severe symptoms, such as very high fever, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, and leukopenia (decrease in white blood cells). This infectious disease, known as dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), is a viral infection transmitted by the Aedes Aegyppti mosquito. This study aims to classify dengue-prone areas using the K-Means Algorithm, and to classify the factors that cause dengue in Purwodadi District, Grobogan Regency. The clustering results using the K-Means algorithm with Rapidminer tool from 266 data produced 3 clusters: cluster 0 (blue) with 138 patients dominated by Kuripan, Purwodadi, Ngambak villages, cluster 1 (green) with 31 patients in Ngraji, Nambuhan, Cingkrong villages, and cluster 2 (orange) with 97 patients in Danyang, Kalongan, Pulorejo villages. This study is expected to provide additional information for stakeholders in controlling dengue cases and increase awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness as a preventive measure.

Abstract

Soft skills are essential competencies for Informatics Engineering students besides academic and technical abilities. One learning approach that supports soft skill development is the implementation of constructive feedback in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of constructive feedback in improving the soft skills of Informatics Engineering students, particularly in interpersonal communication, teamwork, self-confidence, and the ability to accept criticism positively. The research applied a descriptive qualitative method through literature studies and observations during interpersonal learning activities. Data were collected by observing classroom discussions, group assignments, and interactions among students. The findings indicate that constructive feedback provides positive contributions to the improvement of students’ communication skills, emotional control, and collaborative attitudes within teams. Students became more confident in expressing opinions and more open to receiving criticism and suggestions from others. In addition, the implementation of constructive feedback created a more active, supportive, and interactive learning environment. The results also show that constructive feedback helps students conduct self-evaluation and continuously improve their interpersonal skills. Therefore, constructive feedback is considered effective in supporting the development of soft skills among Informatics Engineering students in higher education environments.

Abstract

CV Anugerah Interindo is a company engaged in interior design, providing various products such as curtains, upholstery fabrics, and wallpaper. Currently, the company does not have a system to record and manage customer data in a structured manner. As a result, customer data management and interaction history are still handled manually, leading to difficulties in recording, searching for customer information, and monitoring the sales process. The purpose of this internship project is to design a web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application to help the company manage customer data and sales processes more effectively. The development method used is the SDLC Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, design development, implementation using Laravel as the framework and MySQL as the database, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was conducted through observations and interviews with the company’s operational manager. The project scope includes eight main features: (1) customer contact management, (2) a Kanban-based sales pipeline, (3) activity management and follow-up scheduling, (4) customer interaction history, (5) quotation management, (6) sales reports, and (7) data export to Excel. The expected result is the development of a CRM system capable of storing and managing customer data, facilitating interaction recording, and helping monitor the progress of the sales process in a more structured manner.

Abstract

Koperasi Syariah Benteng Mikro Indonesia is a microfinance institution that manages member data, financing, and financial transactions. Currently, data processing is still largely conducted using unstructured Excel files, which often leads to data duplication, formatting errors, information inconsistency, and delays in database integration. The objective of this internship project is to design and develop a web-based system for importing and transforming Excel data to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in data management.The development method uses the SDLC Waterfall model, which consists of analysis, design, implementation using Python Flask and MySQL, and testing. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and literature studies involving administrative staff and the IT division of the cooperative.The system scope includes eight main features: (1) Excel file upload; (2) data preview; (3) interactive column mapping; (4) automatic data validation; (5) data format transformation; (6) import process simulation; (7) data import into a MySQL database; and (8) logging and reporting of import results.The expected outcomes are to reduce data errors by up to 85%, accelerate data entry processes, improve database consistency, and support structured and integrated digitalization of cooperative data.

Abstract

In stock investment, determining a portfolio that offers attractive returns while maintaining acceptable risk remains a major challenge. Portfolio optimization algorithms can assist in identifying suitable stock combinations; however, the optimization process becomes increasingly complex as the number of possible combinations grows. This study analyzes the trade-off between computational efficiency and portfolio solution quality using the Brute Force and Greedy algorithms. The dataset consists of historical daily adjusted closing prices from 472 S&P 500 companies during the 2025–2026 period. The methodology includes data preprocessing, annualized return and volatility calculation, covariance matrix construction, and portfolio evaluation using the Sharpe ratio. The results show that the Brute Force algorithm consistently achieves higher Sharpe ratios, reaching 4.3619 compared to 3.6470 obtained by the Greedy algorithm for four stock portfolios. However, its runtime increases substantially from 0.0425 seconds for two-stock combinations to 670.7102 seconds for four stock combinations. In contrast, the Greedy algorithm maintains a stable runtime of approximately 0.0015 seconds while producing solutions that remain relatively close to the optimal results. These findings demonstrate a clear trade-off between computational efficiency and solution quality in portfolio optimization.

Abstract

The development of information technology and social media has accelerated the spread of information in society. However, this convenience has also increased the spread of hoaxes and misinformation in digital spaces. The rapid circulation of unverified information may trigger social conflict, reduce public trust, and influence users’ psychological conditions. This study aims to analyze the spread of hoaxes on social media from the perspective of information technology ethics. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach by collecting data from scientific journals, proceedings, books, and other relevant academic sources related to hoaxes, misinformation, digital literacy, and social media ethics. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify the causes, impacts, and prevention efforts related to the spread of hoaxes on social media. The findings indicate that low digital literacy, cognitive bias, Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), and social media algorithms are the main factors contributing to the spread of misinformation in digital environments. In addition, recommendation systems on social media strengthen echo chamber and filter bubble phenomena, making users more vulnerable to unverified information. From the perspective of information technology ethics, spreading hoaxes contradicts the principles of honesty, responsibility, and truthfulness in digital communication. Therefore, improving digital literacy, critical thinking skills, and ethical awareness in social media use is necessary to create a healthier and more responsible digital environment.

Abstract

The rapid development of mobile photo editing applications has increased the need for applications that provide a positive user experience. Pixellab is one of the most widely used mobile photo editing applications due to its comprehensive design and typography features. However, the availability of numerous features does not always guarantee user satisfaction. This study aims to evaluate the user experience of the Pixellab application using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. The research employed a quantitative approach involving 69 active Pixellab users in Indonesia. Data were collected through the standard UEQ questionnaire consisting of six dimensions: Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The collected data were analyzed using the UEQ Data Analysis Tool to obtain the mean score for each dimension. The results indicate that Pixellab provides a positive user experience, with the highest scores achieved in Efficiency and Dependability dimensions. Nevertheless, the Novelty dimension obtained a relatively lower score compared to other dimensions, indicating the need for interface innovation and feature enhancement. The findings of this study can serve as recommendations for developers in improving the overall user experience of the application.

Abstract

The development of information technology drives digital transformation in various sectors, including public services. However, the public still faces various obstacles in accessing public services, such as difficulties in obtaining information, ineffective complaint processes, and a lack of transparency regarding the status of submitted services. This study aims to design a prototype of a digital public service application that can assist the public in accessing service information, submitting complaints, and monitoring report status more effectively. The method used in this study is Design Thinking, which consists of five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 13 respondents from the general public to identify user needs. Based on the requirements analysis, an application prototype named LaporKu was designed, featuring main components such as a dashboard, public complaints, report tracking, public service information, and user profiles. The prototype was then implemented as a website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The prototype testing results showed that the application achieved an overall average score of 4.78, falling into the "Excellent" category. These results indicate that the application is easy to understand, has a clear interface, provides comprehensible information, and is capable of helping users access public services more effectively. Thus, the designed digital public service application prototype is considered a viable solution to support the digitalization of public services and improve accessibility for the community.

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based incoming mail registration system to improve the effectiveness of document archiving at BRI KCP Jelutung. Currently, incoming mail records are managed manually using an agenda book, resulting in slow archive retrieval and increasing the risk of document damage or loss. The research was conducted through observation and user requirements analysis of the incoming mail management process. The result is a web-based system design capable of recording incoming mail data in a complete and structured manner. The system is also equipped with an integrated document scanning feature, allowing physical documents to be digitized and stored automatically in a database without requiring a separate upload process. Scanned documents can be accessed at any time through the system, making archive retrieval and management faster and more efficient. The proposed system is expected to create a more efficient, organized, and transparent mail administration process at BRI KCP Jelutung. Furthermore, the research results can serve as a reference for future system development and implementation within the institution.
