Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a basic food sales information system at Misman Store to assist the performance of Store employees in processing data and selling basic necessities which still use a manual recording system in managing stocks and transactions in the store, which causes inefficiencies in monitoring inventory of goods. Research using qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study, among others, make it easier for employees at misman shops to complete the main tasks of selling goods such as data management to be easier, more efficient, and effective with this system. sales and sales transaction reports. The designed web-based information system has several main features such as system login, dashboard, item category management, inventory management, and transaction recording and reporting. This system is designed to improve the efficiency of store operations and facilitate the management of goods data and sales transactions.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) has become a key element in the development of the financial industry, including Islamic banking. A primary challenge for IT management in Islamic banks is data security from cybercrime, which can damage the bank’s reputation and customer trust. This study aims to further examine the challenges and efforts that Islamic banks can undertake to enhance IT security. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and literature review to describe the phenomenon in depth based on data and information from various relevant literature sources. The study’s findings show that Islamic banks need to strengthen security through encryption, continuous monitoring, and employee training on cybersecurity. The conclusion of this study recommends that Islamic banks continue to raise awareness among employees and customers about security risks and ensure regulatory compliance. This research is expected to serve as a reference for Islamic banks in maintaining information security in the digital era.

Abstract

This research evaluates the user experience of KLAMPID New Generation, which is a digital service managed by DISPENDUKCAPIL Surabaya City. Evaluation is carried out using the User Experience Questionnaire method to measure the attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty of the application. The analysis result show that this application has a good value and shows positive evaluation on all scales, on the perspicuity scale it has a mean value of 1.69 and benchmark is “above average”, the efficiency scale has a mean value of 1.68 and the benchmark is “good”, the attractiveness scale has a mean values of 1.63 and the benchmark is “good”, the dependability scale has a mean value of 1.50 and the benchmark is “good”, the stimulation scale has a mean value of 1.48 and the benchmark is “good”, and the novelty scale has a mean value of 1.24 and the benchmark is good. This evaluation show that KLAMPID New Generation has been successful in meeting needs and providing a positive user experience. The implication of this research is to sustain strengths and enhance features, ensuring the service remains innovative, user-friendly, and supportive of improved public service delivery.

Abstract

Football is a popular sport in the world and is enjoyed by people of all ages. The Indonesia U-16 national team played in the ASEAN CUP 2024 event in this field. Twitter users gave their support through #timnasday during the event. This provided many forms of support for the Indonesian national team which made it difficult to identify positive, neutral, and negative sentiments. This requires the use of lexicon-based textblob to perform automatic labeling. In the labeling results using textblob from a total of 1138 user tweet data resulted in positive sentiment values of 50.9% or 579 positive data, neutral 33.7% or 384 neutral data, and negative 15.4% or 175 negative data. In the test results using one of the machine learning from the naïve bayes classifier, namely gaussian naïve bayes with the division of test data and training data of 0.3 and 0.7, the accuracy value is 98.53%

Abstract

Palm oil is one of the plantation commodities that is growing rapidly in Indonesia, with a total sales area of ​​11,672,861 ha in 2016. Clearing land for oil palm plantations is often carried out by converting forest land into plantation land. This activity has the impact of deforestation and is a serious threat. For biodiversity in Indonesia, orangutans are no exception. Orangutans are one of the animals that, based on the Assessment Information issued by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources), orangutans are expected to be converted to Critically Endangered status in 2016. In the context of protecting orangutan habitat in Indonesia. Clearing of land for oil palm plantations is based on the instruments regulated in Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management and within the principles regulated in Minister of Agriculture Regulation Number 19 of 2011 concerning guidelines for oil palm plantations

Abstract

Modern industries require automation to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. This study designs and implements an automatic sorting system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using a mini conveyor, ESP32 microcontroller, TCS3200 color sensor, servo motor, and the Blynk application. The system is designed to accurately detect object colors, sort objects based on color, and enable remote monitoring and control via mobile devices. Testing results indicate that the system can detect and sort objects with a high level of accuracy, although some errors occur due to changes in lighting conditions. The conveyor speed is consistently recorded at 0.335 m/s, while the system's response time, including color detection, servo movement, and application updates, operates within an optimal range. The Blynk application enhances the flexibility of real-time system control. This study demonstrates that IoT-based sorting systems can serve as an efficient solution to support industrial automation. Further development is recommended to improve color detection accuracy and expand the system's application in more complex industrial scenarios.

Abstract

The application of algorithms in the mentoring activity scheduling system is an innovative solution to overcome the complexity of time and resource management. This study aims to develop a mentoring activity scheduling system for Reading and Writing the Qur'an (BTQ) using the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The PSO algorithm was chosen because of its ability to find optimal solutions efficiently through a particle population approach. This system is designed to meet the schedule preferences of students and supervisors, taking into account the limited time available and the interrelationships between schedules. This study makes a significant contribution to improving the efficiency of BTQ mentoring activity scheduling, as well as demonstrating the potential of PSO in solving other scheduling problems.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve children's digital literacy in RT.002 RW.009, Kwitang Subdistrict through structured educational outreach. The method applied is a participatory action research approach, involving pre- and post-test assessments using a digital literacy questionnaire. The results showed a significant increase in the average literacy score from 55.3 (pre-test) to 82.6 (post-test), confirming the effectiveness of the intervention. Key improvements were observed in awareness of online safety, understanding of hoaxes, and ethical social media use. This initiative contributes to informed and secure digital behavior in urban communities.

Abstract

Hypertension is a common disease in society and can lead to serious complications if not properly managed. This study aims to design a web-based expert system to assist in diagnosing hypertension using the Certainty Factor and Dempster Shafer methods. The Certainty Factor method is used to measure the confidence level of reported symptoms, while the Dempster Shafer method combines information from various sources to generate more accurate decisions. The system is designed with a user-friendly interface to facilitate access for medical personnel and patients. The research results show that the Certainty Factor method achieved an accuracy 97,9%, while the Dempster Shafer method reache 96,4%. The accuracy difference of 1,4% indicates that the Certainty Factor method is more effective in handling the uncertainty of hypertension symptoms than the Dempster Shafer method.

Abstract

This study is to develop a web-based inventory management information system for grocery merchants in order to speed up the stock recording process. The system is built according to the waterfall style of system development, using PHP and MySQL. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and literature research. As a result, store managers can improve operating efficiency and reduce errors in manual stocktaking by using a system that allows real-time product stock input, updating, and monitoring. This study provides a practical digital solution to support the digitization of small businesses in Indonesia.
