Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital finance, social media-based financial advice, and mobile budgeting technologies has created new opportunities and risks for Generation Z in managing personal finances. Amid global concerns over rising living costs, digital consumerism, financial misinformation, and the increasing influence of financial content creators, digital financial literacy has become essential for young people to make responsible financial decisions. This study examines the effects of financial influencer-based financial education and personal finance management apps on financial management efficiency among Generation Z students. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, data were collected from 34 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Makassar, selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that financial influencer-based financial education has no significant partial effect on students’ financial management efficiency, indicating that exposure to financial content on social media does not necessarily translate into efficient financial behavior. In contrast, personal finance management apps have a positive and significant effect on financial management efficiency. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect financial management efficiency. These findings highlight that while financial influencers may increase awareness, practical digital tools play a more direct role in shaping efficient financial behavior among Generation Z.

Abstract

This qualitative case study investigates the effectiveness of Islamic value-based interventions in developing social-emotional competencies among children aged 4–6 years at TK Islam Bakti Kayu Kunyit. Data were collected over three months through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers and parents, and analysis of behavioral documentation. Thematic analysis revealed significant improvements in children's emotional regulation (40–50% increase) and prosocial behaviors (104–219% increase). Daily Islamic routines, prophetic storytelling, and structured play-based activities provided a culturally resonant framework for scaffolding empathy, self-regulation, and conflict resolution. Teacher modeling and intentional emotional scaffolding emerged as pivotal mechanisms of change, while consistent parent-school collaboration further amplified positive outcomes. However, variability in pedagogical execution and moderate family engagement highlighted challenges related to teacher training and structural support. The study demonstrates that integrating Islamic moral education with evidence-based social-emotional learning strategies effectively addresses developmental gaps in early childhood. These findings offer a replicable, faith-integrated pedagogical model for educators seeking to nurture both psychological well-being and character formation during the critical golden period, while emphasizing the need for sustained professional development and flexible family partnership frameworks to optimize implementation.

Abstract

Abstract Phosphorus (P) availability in soil is frequently a limiting factor for waxy maize growth due to high phosphorus fixation capacity, particularly in acidic soils. The application of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) and organic fertilizers represents an environmentally sound approach to enhancing P bioavailability and overall soil fertility. This study evaluated the effects of PSB and different types of organic fertilizer on the vegetative growth of waxy maize, as well as their interaction. The study employed a 4 × 3 factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. The first factor was PSB dose, consisting of four levels: 0, 10, 20, and 30 mL ha⁻¹, and the second factor was organic fertilizer type, consisting of three levels: no fertilizer, 15 t ha⁻¹ of cattle manure, and 15 t ha⁻¹ of chicken manure. The observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area. The data were analyzed using ANOVA and the 5% DMRT test. The results showed that the application of Phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) had no significant effect on all vegetative growth parameters. Conversely, the type of organic fertilizer had a significant effect, with chicken manure yielding the best growth in terms of plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area. There was no significant interaction between the phosphate-solubilizing bacteria dose and the type of organic fertilizer. Keywords: waxy maize, phosphate-solubilizing bacteria, organic fertilizer, vegetative growth

Abstract

The lack of energy literacy among the Indonesian public significantly hinders the adoption of Solar Power Plants, which has only reached 13.09% of the renewable energy mix target by the end of 2023. This study aims to analyze the level of language comprehensibility in digital educational content on PLTS intended for non-technical audiences, using a qualitative descriptive approach through a systematic literature study. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques supported by readability formulas, namely Flesch Reading Ease, Gunning Fog Index, and SMOG. The findings indicate that content produced by official institutions generally falls into the "very difficult" readability category (scores 28–34), while social media content tends to be relatively easier to understand (scores 50–62), although its technical accuracy is often not validated. The use of technical terms such as inverter, maximum power point tracking, and levelized cost of electricity without contextual explanations was found to increase cognitive load among general readers. The study concludes that language simplification and the integration of visual elements are urgently needed to optimize the effectiveness of science communication. These measures have the potential to support the acceleration of energy literacy and contribute to achieving the Net Zero Emissions 2060 target in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the deconstructionist view of the characters in the film “Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah”by director Hanny R. Saputra, which is a transformation of the novel by Buya Hamka. The purpose of this study is to describe the deconstructionist view of the characters in the film “Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah”. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with Jacques Derrida's theory. The data in this study comes from the film “Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah” which is analyzed to find the deconstruction of the characters' characters. The results show that there is a hidden reality of the characters in the film Under the Protection of the Ka'bah. The deconstructionist view in this study is used to dismantle the meaning that seems certain in the audience's view. The results of the study found that there is a meaning that is removed from the surface view of the characters. The deconstructionist view proves that the characters in the characters cannot be viewed stably with the image of the protagonist and antagonist. Some characters depicted as protagonists, apparently have hidden realities, while some characters depicted as antagonists also have hidden facts from their characters

Abstract

Folktales are often viewed as static entities that serve only as conservative didactic media. This study aims to deconstruct the legend of "Putri Tujuh" from Dumai to uncover the shifting sociocultural paradigm related to Malay marriage traditions. Using descriptive qualitative methods and Jacques Derrida's deconstructive analysis, this study dismantles the binary opposition between customary obedience (hereditary hierarchy) and the reality of life (theological inclusivity). The results show an aporia in the text that has marginalized the role of individual will in favor of structure. The new meaning discovered is the transformation of the "langkah bendul" phenomenon from a sociological disgrace into a form of "sovereignty of destiny" (theological). This finding reconstructs the identity of modern Malay society that is more adaptive, empathetic, and inclusive without abandoning its religious essence.

Abstract

Mercury (Hg) contamination in soils affected by small-scale gold processing may reduce soil quality and create a pathway for heavy metal transfer into plant tissues. This study assessed the role of kirinyu bokashi (Chromolaena odorata L.) in regulating Hg distribution in contaminated soil and Hg accumulation in maize tissues across different soil depths. The greenhouse experiment was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, using Hg-contaminated soil collected from the Poboya gold-processing area, Palu City. A factorial experiment in a randomized block design was applied with two factors: soil depth (0-10 cm, 11-20 cm, and 21-30 cm) and bokashi dosage (0, 15, 30, and 45 t ha-1). Each treatment combination was replicated three times, resulting in 36 experimental units. Observed variables included soil Hg, plant Hg, plant Hg uptake, soil pH, organic C, and cation exchange capacity. The results indicated that kirinyu bokashi altered Hg distribution in contaminated soil, reduced Hg concentration in plant tissues, and improved selected soil chemical properties, particularly organic C and cation exchange capacity. The 45 t ha-1 treatment showed the strongest tendency to suppress soil and plant Hg, although the magnitude varied among depths. These findings suggest that gliricidia sepium bokashi has potential as an organic amendment for managing Hg-contaminated soil.
