Abstract

This study aims to describe the collaboration between parents and teachers in supporting the development of social interactions in autistic children in student F at HKBP Tomuan Private Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subject in this study is a mild autistic student with the initials F who is in grade VI. Informants in this study consisted of F's parents, homeroom teachers, and teachers closest to student F. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Lexy J. Moleong model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the development of F's social interactions has changed gradually towards the better. This can be seen from F's ability to begin to respond to communication, be involved in several school activities, and begin to show acceptance of interactions with the surrounding environment. The pattern of assistance provided by parents is carried out through consistent communication, continuous attention, and an approach that adapts to the child's emotional condition. Meanwhile, teachers provide assistance through an individual approach, building emotional comfort, and involving F in social activities in the school environment. Collaboration between parents and teachers is fostered through open communication, shared involvement in understanding the child's needs, and alignment of support patterns between home and school. This collaboration positively influences the development of F's social interactions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the Pancasila Education subject in grade V of Taman Asuhan Pematangsiantar Elementary School. This problem is caused by the learning process that still uses conventional methods so that students are less active and less involved in learning activities. As a result, students' understanding of the Cultural Diversity material has not achieved the expected learning objectives. To overcome this problem, the Snowball Throwing learning model is applied which can increase student activity, interaction, and participation during the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on student learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject on Cultural Diversity in grade V of Taman Asuhan Pematangsiantar Elementary School. This study uses a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental Design and One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample is 30 students. Data collection techniques are carried out through tests in the form of pretests and posttests. Research data are analyzed using normality tests and Paired Sample T-Test hypothesis tests. The results showed that the average pretest score for students was 36.67, with an increase in the posttest score to 86.53. Based on the hypothesis test results, the calculated t-value was -19.495 and the t-table value was -1.699 at a significance level of 0.05, with a 2-tailed significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Since the calculated t-value is > t-table, i.e., -19.495 > -1.699, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Abstract

This study aims to describe students' errors in solving nonlinear equation root problems using the Bisection and Newton-Raphson methods based on Newman's Error Analysis (NEA). This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects consisted of 33 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program who had taken the Numerical Analysis course. The research instrument was a Mid-Semester Exam question on the material of nonlinear equation roots covering the Bisection and Newton-Raphson methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through written tests and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed based on Newman's error categories, namely reading, comprehension, transformation, process skills, and encoding. The results showed that the most dominant errors made by students were in the process skills category. In the Bisection method, student errors mostly occurred in the process of evaluating functions and determining new intervals during iteration, while in the Newton-Raphson method, dominant errors occurred in determining function derivatives and substituting iteration values into the Newton-Raphson formula. In addition, it was found that some students experienced transformation errors due to the inability to connect mathematical concepts with algorithmic procedures of numerical methods. Interview results indicate that student errors are influenced by a lack of understanding of basic concepts, low accuracy in numerical operations, and a lack of habit of double checking calculation results. This research is expected to serve as a basis for designing Numerical Analysis learning strategies that emphasize students' conceptual understanding and procedural accuracy.

Abstract

The madrasah accreditation system administered by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of theRepublic of Indonesia (Kemenag) is a strategic instrument for measuring and improving the quality ofIslamic education, both in formal and non-formal pathways. This article examines in depth howaccreditation mechanisms are applied to both pathways, traces their impact on teaching practices inthe field, and identifies various structural barriers that impede their effectiveness. Using asystematic literature review approach, this study analyzes official regulations, quality assuranceagency reports, and empirical research published between 2020 and 2024. Findings reveal that whilethe formal accreditation framework is relatively structured and consistent, its implementation stillfaces significant institutional capacity gaps, particularly in madrasahs located in remote areas andnon-formal pesantren that frequently operate with severely limited resources. Furthermore, thestudy finds that accreditation's influence on learning quality tends to be indirect and contingent onschool leadership commitment and teacher quality. The implications of these findings include theneed for reform of assessment instruments that are more responsive to local contexts, strengthening of human resource capacity, and the development of a sustainable post-accreditationmonitoring system. This article aims to contribute to the development of a more inclusive andevidence-based Islamic education policy. Keywords: madrasah accreditation, Ministry of Religious Affairs, non-formal education, learningquality, quality assurance
