Abstract

The experiment purpose to find out fatty acid profil in catfish oil were used soybean oil with different level and to detect soybean oil concentrate in dietary hight produce catfish oil contens omega-3 fatty acid EPA and DHA. This research uses experimental methods and experimental design used completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments , the percentage giving linolenic acid in the feed catfish at A = 0 % , B = 5 % , C = 10 % , D = 15 % , and E 20 % with each of the three replicates (15 experimental units) . Data were analyzed statistically is the content of EPA and DHA oils catfish at each treatment . Catfish oil extraction is done by wet rendering . How to wet rendering applied to fish that are high in fat and in large numbers . Further fatty acid content is determined based on the area that is formed using a Gas Chromatography . Soy bean oil as a source of linolenic acid in the diet had no effect on oil fatty acid profile catfish (Clarias sp) in terms of the aspect of the type of fatty acids , but in terms of aspects of the concentration of each type of soybean oil fatty acids influence . Changes in fatty acid levels to concentrations of soybean oil are generally not patterned , the pattern follows the curve of a parabola and hyperbole, at concentrations of 0%, 5% trend fatty acid concentration increased until optimal at concentrations of 10% and at a concentration of 15 % and 20 % trend of concentration fatty acids then declined. Soybean oil concentration in the feed oil producing catfish containing omega-3 fatty acids , EPA and DHA concentration is highest at 10 % . Generated at these concentrations of omega - 3 fatty acids 8.33%, 5.05% EPA and DHA of 1.14 % .

Abstract

The aim of research to analyze the actual profit, profit maximization, and the sensitivity of chilli and tomato farm in the village of Pombewe, District Sigi Biromaru, Sigi. The sampling technique conducted a census that as many as 17 people. Data collected by interview using interview guideline. Secondary data obtained from the village monograph, BPS and various journals. The results using the actual profit earned revenue analysis of chilli and tomato farming in aggregate on an area of 0.69 Ha reached Rp 43.331.876,47, and partially chili farm with an area of 0.33 Ha reached Rp 23.280.509,12 and tomato farming with an area of 0.36 Ha reached Rp 20.051.387,35. Analysis using linear program obtained maximization profit of Rp 129 599 700, - with chilli farming area of 1.03 Ha and 1.02 Ha of farming tomatoes. Sensitivity analysis of optimization that has been achieved is determined by the change in the willingness of each seed seeds chili> 16.20 sachet or tomato seeds> 29.72 sachet.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the influence of learning model and learning motivation through conceptual understanding students. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Palu using a quasy-experimental design with factorial 2 × 2. The independent variable is a learning model and learning motivation. Learning model are problem based learning model and inquiry learning model. Learning motivation investigated that were high learning motivation and low learning motivation. Dependent variable is conceptual understanding students. There was using two instruments, there were (1) a questionnaire of learning motivation that used before learning activity and (2) a test of conceptual understanding students was used after learning activity. These samples included s 48 students at grades X students, who were chosen by random sampling. Analysis of data using analysis of variance two-lane. The result of this research was shown that was difference conceptual understanding and learning motivation of tenth grade students of madrasah aliyah negeri 1 palu through problem-based learning model and inquiry learning model.

Abstract

The problem in this study was the lack of student activities and low learning outcomes of students in science subject at fourth grade SDN Kawatuna Palu. This study was classroom action research consist of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The stages of every cycle were planning, action, observation and reflection. By through the six phases of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning, that students activity and student learning outcomes on the material force and motion of objects might increase. The activity of student in first cycle reached 72.7%, (good categories according to Likert scale), teacher activity reached 75% (good categories) and learning outcomes in the form of classical completeness reached 59.4% (enough category). In the second cycle, the student activity reached 84.9% and teacher reached 87.5%, the result of classical completeness increased up to 100%. These results provide a positive impact in improving the activity and student learning outcomes. STAD might made students more familiar and more active in learning. Familiar means that students work together in completing the LKS group, they cooperate by accepting the differences of each member of the group. Active in this case was students more active to ask and answer the question, both of teachers and of other groups at the time of the learning process.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) analyzing the supplies effect, the effective working days, the catching trip, the fishing equipment which affecting the fishermen result in catching fish of Bantaya Village, Parigi Sub-District in Parigi Moutong Regency, (2) Analyzing the fishermen income in bantaya Village Parigi Sub-District in Parigi Moutong Regency. The sample of this research is fishermen in Bantaya village, and then the method used was census method. The instruments of data collection were observation and interview which analyzed through multiple linear regression and income analysis. The result of the research by using multiple linear regression showed that coeffcient of determination (R2) is 0.849. Going through Ftest, it shows that Fcounted = 80.034 > Ftable = 3.695 on α = 1%, it proves that Null hypothesis was rejected. It means that the independent variable (1n X1), labor (1n x2), the number of catching trip (1n X3) the fishing equipment (D) simultaneously affects the result of catching fish in bantaya Village Parigi Sub-District in Parigi Moutong Regency. Furthermore, the fisheries’ income in Kelurahan of Bantaya with the production cost is Rp. 26.208.658,-/ month, which consists of fixed amount is Rp. 16.101.847,-/month and the variable cost is Rp. 10.106.810,-/month, the amount income is Rp. 53.881.207,-/month, so that the amount before sharing profit is Rp. 27.672.549,-/month, while income after sharing profit is Rp. 3.231.213,-/month.

Abstract

The research was conducted on even semester in SDN No.1 Labuan Bajo in academic year 2014-2015. The problems of the study was how the implementation of cooperative learning model by group investigation to improve activity and learning outcomes in science subjects at grade sixth. The research was used classroom action research by 2 cycle. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The results of research showed that both the average of teacher and students activity were in good categories. Furthermore, the results of achievements consisted of classical absorption value and classical learning completeness. Based on indicators, classical absorption value clarified was attained with good category and classical learning completeness had over of indicators that settled of School, and to have excellent category. Based on the redearch results, they can concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model by Group Iinvestigation could increase the activity and learning outcomes at grade sixth SD No.1 Labuan Bajo.

Abstract

The research was conducted on a semester at SDN Tompu Biromaru Sigi District of school year 2014-2015. Problems in the study was whether the application of Jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve the activity and results of the sixth grade students learn science SDN Tompu District of Sigi Biromaru. The method used is a cyclic method at class action research with two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings results showed that the application of cooperative learning model Jigsaw shown to enhance the activity and the results of learning science in grade VI SDN Tompu Biromaru Sigi District of criteria that are in the category of fairly to very good. While the magnitude of the increase in student learning outcomes cycle I were in the medium category and second cycle were in the high category. Thus, it was concluded that the application of Jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve the activity and the results of the sixth grade students learn science SDN Tompu District of Sigi Biromaru.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe influence of problem-based learning (PBL) towards students’ creative thinking skill and learning achievement at Class VII of SMPN 3 Palu. The research implemented quasi-experimental using control group pretest-posttest design. The samples of the research were Class VII F (as experimental group) and Class VII I (as control group). Research data were collected using creative thinking skill test and learning achievement test and were analyzed by t-test and descriptive statistic method. Results of the research showed that there was significant difference (α = 0,05) for (1) creative thinking skill and (2) learning achievement between the both groups. Analysis on normalized gain (<g>) showed that the experimental group outaperformed the control group in the two aspects. It could be concluded that problem-based learning had significant influence on students’ creative thinking skill and learning achievement at Class VII of SMPN 3 Palu.

Abstract

The aim of this reserach is to describe the increasing of the activities and the learning outcomes of student on IPA subject by using the scientific approach in class VA SD Inpres Kotapulu. The learning was focused on the weathering topic in the first cycle while in the second cycle was the identifying the types of soil topic. The method used in this study is a classroom action research (PTK). The instrument data collection used are the initial test sheets, the observation activity sheets for teacher and student, and the final test sheets. The results showed that there is an increasing in the activities of teacher and students also the learning outcomes of student from the first cycle until the second cycle. The increasing of the student’s learning outcomes is proved by the result the attainment of absorption average score and the percentage of classical completeness that increase from the pra-action, the first cycle and the second cycle respectively. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the learning of subject IPA by using the scientific approach can increase the activities and the student learning outcomes of student in class VA SD Inpres Kotapulu.

Abstract

Physics as a subject of the natural phenomenon is expected to be taught in a simplistic so the learning model and media are used by teachers greatly affect students' understanding of a concept. This study aimed to describe:(1) the effect of the initial capabilities of the students' understanding of concepts in a dynamic electrical material. (2) the effect of learning model for understanding the concept. (3) identify the interaction between the initial capabilities and learning model for understanding the concept. The population in this study were all students of class X of SMAN 8 Palu academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 103 students. Data collection techniques with a random sample, and the test in the form of multiple choice. The tests are given to measure students' understanding of physics concepts. Data analysis technique used was qualitative quai experiment with a 2x2 factorial design. The results showed that: (1) The initial capability significantly affect students' understanding of the concept. (2) the learning STAD significantly affect students' understanding of the concept. (3) there is no interaction between prior knowledge and understanding of the concept of students' learning model.
