Abstract

This study investigated the effectiveness of utilizing self-learning modules as a tool in increasing academic performance in Earth Science among Grade 9 learners. The researcher used purposive sampling, choosing 18 respondents as experimental group that are subjected to the intervention. Using paired t-test and Mean Percentage Scores, the pre-test scores of the students are described as Moving Towards Mastery. The post-test scores of the students may be described as Closely Approximating Mastery by the interpretation of the scores of DepEd (2012) under Memorandum No. 160. It showed that the experimental group for the pre-test and post-test got 0.001 which is lesser than 0.05, this indicates that the students’ performance was better than the pre-test after using developed self-learning materials

Abstract

Digital Skills vs. Experience: An Age-Driven Investigation of IT and Teacher Performance," explores the intricate interplay between age, information technology (IT), and teaching performance in the context of education. The study used an exploratory approach and used a structured questionnaire with a five-point scale to get first-hand information from 470 different teaching faculty members in Kathmandu Valley. To preserve participant secrecy and anonymity, ethical issues were crucial. The research methodology used powerful data analysis techniques that include correlation, ANOVA, and regression, as well as descriptive statistics. The study's model overview shows that Model H₁ is good at predicting how well teachers will do, as it explains 72.1% of the variation. The ANOVA test shows how important age and IT are as predictors of teaching success together. Regression analysis shows that both age and IT can be used as indicators, with IT having a much bigger effect. Part and partial connections provide more information about how age and IT are connected

Abstract

One of the most important domain in human knowledge is Historiography which donate a lot theory in the field, the two most well-known schools are the Persian and Arab historiographies. The Arab historiography is the first. From the time when Islam was established in India at the beginning of the 13th century until the great Mughal Empire fell, two significant contributions to the development of Persian history in India during the Sultanate Period, notably during the authority of the Tughluq dynasty, are the "Tarikh-i- Firuj Shahi" of Barani and the "Futuhus Salatin" of Isami, The present paper focus on contemporary image of Sultan Mohammad Bin Tughluq among Zia ud Din Bharani’s Texts. A descriptive context analysis method is used and for the data collection Tarikh-i- Firuj Shahi book was selected, as a result The two masterpieces produced under the patronage of the Sultans of Delhi are thought to be Tarikh-i- Firuz Shahi of Barani. Both novels give us important details about the era in which they were written

Abstract

The presence of Cliford Geertz in Indonesia, at that time conducting research in Java to fulfill his dissertation research assignment, can be a gift for us in Indonesia, through his work Indonesia is widely known by the international community. The methods he provides are very relevant to the study of any culture. Anthropologist hermeneutics can enter to study, especially the Gorontalo region on how the Gorontalo traditional cultural model takes place and is combined with Islam. Gorontalo people have their own philosophy, namely "adat bersendikan Syarah, Syarah bersendikan Kitabullah", this Gorontalo local wisdom value, which has deep values and meanings. This philosophy has been formulated since the Amai Kingdom until it was refined three times, the third time was during the reign of King Eyato, with a name that still echoes today, this wisdom becomes the color of implementation or a form of implementation of religious values in Gorontalo

Abstract

Indonesia is one of a few country that has the high rate consumption of fossil fuels. Bioethanol is considered as an important renewable fuel to partly replace fossil-derived fuels. This sustainable technology has increased tremendously with decreasing world crude oil reserves while the energy prices continually increasing. One of the potential raw materials for bioethanol production is mung bean (Vigna radiata). Mung bean is seasonal crops and grow almost in all region of Indonesia. Mung beans can be raw material for bioethanol production  because in 50 grams of mung beans contain 18.41% glucose. Bioethanol production begins with hydrolysis 50 grams of mung beans in 200 ml of water as much as 4 samples until it becomes pulp. The process was followed by the fermentation process by using yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) for four days with variation of a weight of 1 gram, 2 grams, 3 grams and 4 grams. The last process is distillation, it used to separate water and ethanol. Sample 2 shows the optimum ratio for bioethanol production which is 50 grams of mung beans and 2 grams of yeast (50:2). The optimum result from experiment obtained 6.4615% ethanol and 1.3371 refractive index

Abstract

MRSA infection that is growing and limited treatment is evidence that the handling and treatment of the disease is still inadequate so that appropriate drugs are needed as antibacterial against MRSA, the development of natural products, one of which is the dayak onion plant (Eleutherine bulbosa) which has the potential as antibacterial can be done with computational methods, one of which is molecular tethering, molecular dynamics and ADMET prediction. This study aims to predict the ability of natural compounds from dayak onions as antibacterial MRSA. Tethering and molecular dynamics are performed using AutoDock 4.2 and Yasara Dynamic software. The results showed that compounds with the greatest antibacterial potential were eleucanainones with binding energy of -11.91kcal / mol. The results of molecular tethering are then continued with molecular dynamics simulations. The results of molecular dynamics simulations show that the compound has a Root Mean Square Deviation (RMSD) value that is close to the native ligand. Conclusion: Dayak onion compounds (Eleutherine bulbosa) have potential as antibacterial MRSA
