Abstract

This research analyzes e-commerce development trends in Southeast Asia using Google Trends data from 2015 to 2023, incorporating digital payment systems evolution, generational shopping behaviors, and COVID-19 impacts. Results indicate substantial growth variations across countries, with notable differences in digital payment adoption and consumer preferences. The study reveals that e-commerce growth is driven by mobile commerce adoption, social media integration, and digital payment infrastructure development (Wong & Huang, 2019). Our findings provide strategic insights for e-commerce stakeholders and policymakers in navigating the region's dynamic digital marketplace.

Abstract

Framework CodeIgniter merupakan salah satu framework PHP yang paling umum digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi berbasis web. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menilai penerapan CodeIgniter dalam konteks pengembangan aplikasi web dengan mengidentifikasi kelebihan serta kekurangan yang ada. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis, yang melibatkan pembuatan aplikasi web sederhana sebagai objek penelitian. Aplikasi tersebut menerapkan berbagai fitur dasar seperti autentikasi pengguna, pengelolaan data (CRUD), dan pemanfaatan framework front-end Bootstrap. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun CodeIgniter memiliki keunggulan dalam kemudahan penggunaan dan dokumentasi yang lengkap, framework ini juga memiliki beberapa batasan dalam mendukung fitur-fitur modern seperti dependency injection dan pengelolaan database yang lebih kompleks. Artikel ini ditutup dengan kesimpulan yang memberikan rekomendasi penggunaan CodeIgniter untuk pengembangan aplikasi web sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kompleksitas proyek.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a comprehensive comparative analysis of internet search densities for emerging technologies using Google Trends data. By examining search patterns across multiple cutting-edge technological domains, we explore the relative public interest and digital engagement with innovative technological developments. The study analyzes search trends for technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain, augmented reality, and renewable energy technologies between 2019 and 2024. Utilizing advanced data mining and statistical analysis techniques, we extract meaningful insights into technological awareness, global interest patterns, and potential correlations between search densities and technological advancement. The research methodology involves systematic data collection from Google Trends, comprehensive statistical processing, and in-depth comparative analysis. Results reveal significant variations in search densities across different technological domains, highlighting emerging technological landscapes and potential future innovation trajectories.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of external factors on stock prices by analyzing historical data from Yahoo Finance. The study aims to comprehensively examine how global events, international news, and macroeconomic indicators influence stock market dynamics. Utilizing a mixed-method approach combining quantitative time series analysis and qualitative event study methodology, we analyzed stock price movements across multiple sectors during significant global events between 2018-2023. The research employed advanced statistical techniques including multiple regression, event study methodology, and correlation analysis to identify and quantify the relationship between external factors and stock price variations. Results demonstrated that geopolitical events, economic policy changes, and international health crises significantly influence stock price volatility, with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.65 to 0.85 across different market sectors. The study provides crucial insights for investors, policymakers, and financial analysts in understanding the complex interplay between external factors and stock market performance.

Abstract

The research examines the impact of digitalization on the operational efficiency of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, this study explores how adopting digital tools influences productivity, reduces costs, and improves competitiveness. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and case studies across 100 MSMEs in Indonesia. Findings indicate that digitalization significantly enhances operational efficiency by 45%, particularly in inventory management and customer engagement. This paper highlights the critical need for capacity building and access to digital infrastructure for MSMEs to fully capitalize on digitalization benefits.

Abstract

Mathematics is often considered a challenging subject for many students. Various obstacles, including psychological, cognitive, and contextual factors, can affect students' understanding and achievement in this subject. This study reviews the various barriers faced by students in learning mathematics, such as a lack of motivation, difficulty in understanding abstract concepts, and an inability to relate theory to practical applications. Additionally, factors such as stress, fear of failure, and the quality of teaching also play a role in exacerbating the situation. To overcome these barriers, it is recommended that mathematics instruction be more tailored to students' needs, incorporating more interactive teaching methods, and creating a supportive environment that reduces anxiety toward the subject.

Abstract

The development of road infrastructure is an important factor in supporting economic growth and community welfare. One of the key aspects of road construction is the accurate calculation of material requirements, which can help reduce construction costs and improve road quality. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using basic mathematics in calculating road material needs. The research method used is descriptive-analytical with a quantitative approach, with samples taken from completed road projects in Indonesia over the last five years. Data was collected through documentation, interviews, and observations. The results show that the use of basic mathematics in calculating material requirements is highly effective and accurate, with 2 out of 3 projects analyzed showing calculations that closely match the actual material needs in the field. External factors such as soil conditions and design changes during the project can affect calculation accuracy. The study concludes that a good understanding of basic mathematics is essential for civil engineering professionals, and recommends enhancing basic mathematics education to support the efficiency of road construction projects in Indonesia.

Abstract

With the rapid development of cloud computing technology, cybersecurity has become one of the main challenges in the implementation of cloud-based information systems. This article aims to analyze the threats commonly encountered in cloud systems and provide recommendations to improve security levels on these platforms. The research method used in this study is literature review and case analysis. The findings show that cybersecurity threats, such as data breaches and information leakage, are the main issues that need to be addressed through the use of better encryption technologies, strict identity management, and real-time system monitoring. The study also suggests the implementation of comprehensive security policies as an effective mitigation step.

Abstract

One way to spread learning messages and information is learning media. Well-designed learning media helps students understand and understand the subject matter. With globalization and advances in information technology today, learning media is increasingly advanced. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a learning tool is needed. ICT-based media require special skills, but this does not mean they should be avoided or abandoned. Information technology (ICT)-based educational resources can include the internet, intranet, cellphones, and CDs/Flash Disks. In order to remain relevant with the increasingly rapid dynamics of change triggered by technological advances, learning patterns must be changed. By using a descriptive model, this research analyzes and shows how information and communication technology is used in learning at SMAN 3 Gunungsitoli. According to research conducted, the teacher's paradigm in using information and communication technology in learning is still limited to the use of information technology-based computer media as presentation material during the learning process. The need for technology in education is nothing new; Technology can be used to build innovative and fun students.  It has been proven that this use has a great influence on how smoothly the learning process goes.

Computer architecture and organization are two fundamental aspects of computer systems design. This paper explores the basic concepts of computer architecture and organization, as well as the latest advancements in these fields. Additionally, the article explores various recent innovations, such as parallel architectures, cloud computing, and the use of more efficient processors and memory to enhance data processing capacity. Topics discussed include the evolution of quantum computing, heterogeneous computing, neuromorphic processors, chiplet-based architecture, artificial intelligence in computer design, and sustainable computing. These developments represent significant strides toward enhancing computing power, energy efficiency, and specialized application performance in modern systems. Understanding these concepts is crucial for professionals and researchers aiming to push the boundaries of computing technology.
