Tasyri Jurnal Muamalah dan Ekonomi Syariah is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Economic and Islamic Law, Institut Agama Islam Pangeran Dharma Kusuma Indramayu, twice a year in January and July. The journal will focus on providing quality research in the areas of Islamic economics and muamalah. Specifically, the journal will deal with topics, including (but not limited to): Islamic economics law, Islamic banking law, Islamic finance law, Islamic accounting law, Islamic microfinance law, Zakah, waqf, and philanthropy.

Abstract

The integration of akhlaq (Islamic morals) into daily life and Islamic business practices is an effort to incorporate moral and ethical values into all aspects of life and economic activities. In the context of daily life, good akhlaq includes attitudes such as honesty, trustworthiness, justice, and empathy towards others. Meanwhile, in Islamic business practices, principles such as justice, honesty, and social responsibility are highly emphasized. Islamic business strives to create a balance between individual and societal interests and to avoid practices that harm others. The integration of akhlaq in business also promotes the implementation of a sustainable and just economic system. By applying akhlaq in life and business, it is hoped that a more harmonious, just, and prosperous society can be created. Research findings indicate that awareness of the importance of akhlaq in daily life and business is very high among individuals and companies. The application of akhlaq values in daily life and business has a significant positive impact. Individuals who consistently apply akhlaq report improvements in the quality of social relationships, psychological well-being, and a deeper sense of satisfaction in their lives. Despite the high awareness of akhlaq values, the practical application of these values still faces various challenges. External pressures, a lack of practical understanding, and unsupportive organizational cultures often become obstacles to integrating akhlaq. Abstract

This study examines the influence of Islamic law education on the validity of ijarah contracts in Islamic banks, focusing on the conditions in Indonesia. The research investigates how Islamic law education affects bank staff's understanding of the Sharia principles underlying ijarah contracts and its impact on achieving more valid implementations in accordance with Sharia provisions. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study methodology, involving in-depth interviews and document analysis. Findings indicate that Islamic law education plays a crucial role in enhancing awareness and understanding among bank staff, thereby making a significant contribution to the development of the Islamic financial market in Indonesia. This research highlights the crucial role of Islamic law education in enhancing the validity of ijarah contracts in Islamic banks. By focusing on the influence of this education and factors affecting compliance with Sharia principles, the study provides insights into steps banks can take to improve implementation and adherence to Sharia principles. Islamic law education plays a pivotal role in deepening bank staff's understanding of the Sharia principles underpinning ijarah contracts, enabling more valid implementations in accordance with principles that prohibit riba, gharar, and maysir. Factors such as structured education and training, awareness of compliance importance, and management support in fostering a culture of compliance significantly influence the level of compliance among bank staff with Sharia principles. Abstract

This study explores the impact of regulations on the validity of Ijarah contracts in Sharia multi-service financing in Indonesia. Strict and clear regulations are necessary to ensure compliance with Sharia principles, transparency in transactions, and protection of customer interests. The research adopts a qualitative approach, analyzing the implementation of regulations and the perceptions of stakeholders in the Islamic finance industry. Findings highlight challenges faced by Islamic banks, including evolving regulatory complexities and the need for adequate resources. Customers tend to feel more confident and secure when transactions are conducted under consistent and structured regulations. Regulators are recognized as playing a crucial role in ensuring stability and growth in the Islamic finance industry through well-implemented regulations. Regulations in Indonesia play a crucial role in governing various aspects of implementing Ijarah contracts in the Islamic finance industry. These regulations encompass the requirements to be met, execution procedures, and oversight mechanisms to ensure compliance with Sharia principles, transaction transparency, and customer protection. Clear and stringent regulations not only enhance the validity of Ijarah contracts but also support stability and growth in the Islamic finance industry. Nevertheless, Islamic banks face challenges such as evolving regulatory complexities, the need for adequate resources, and uniform interpretation of regulations across business units. Customers tend to have greater trust and feel more secure when transactions are conducted under stringent and clear regulations, while regulators view regulations as vital tools for maintaining stability in the Islamic finance industry. Abstract

The integration between Islamic Economics and Islamic Economic Law has become an increasingly intriguing subject in modern economic studies. This paper discusses the perspective of economic disciplines on this integration, highlighting key aspects related to the close relationship between Islamic economic principles and Sharia law. By analyzing economic theories and Islamic legal principles, this integration offers a holistic approach to developing an economic model aligned with Islamic values. The findings of this research reveal that a holistic approach encompassing economic, legal, social, and cultural aspects is necessary to integrate Islamic Economics and Islamic Economic Law, in order to understand the complex relationships in the ever-evolving global economic context. The challenges of interpreting and harmonizing economic and Islamic legal principles require further efforts to strengthen a consistent framework. Supportive regulations and policies are crucial to facilitating this integration, with collaboration between policymakers, economists, and legal experts. Enhancing education and awareness about Islamic economic principles and Islamic economic law among the general public, practitioners, and policymakers is a critical step. Moreover, empowering the local economy through this integration can strengthen local economies and support the growth of small and medium enterprises, thereby achieving inclusive economic development. Abstract

The integration of Islamic ethical values (akhlaq) and Sharia law into business management holds significant potential for enhancing employee work quality and overall organizational performance. In the context of the complex and diverse modern business environment, these values offer valuable ethical and moral guidance, shaping a strong and sustainable organizational culture. This study reveals several important aspects related to the impact, challenges, and implementation strategies of integrating Islamic values in business management, making it relevant for organizations seeking a more holistic and ethical approach in their operations. The research aims to investigate how the integration of akhlaq and Sharia law can improve work quality in a business context. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through employee interviews and content analysis. Findings indicate that the application of akhlaq and Sharia law principles within corporate culture can result in a more ethical, integrity-driven, and value-oriented work environment. Employees involved in business practices based on akhlaq and Sharia law tend to be more inspired, productive, and have higher job satisfaction. Some challenges in this integration include a lack of understanding of Islamic principles and resistance to cultural change. However, with appropriate education and training, along with support from company leadership, the integration of akhlaq and Sharia law can become a key factor in improving work quality and creating a sustainable work culture.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of Islamic banks in enhancing the self-reliance of micro andsmall entrepreneurs (MSMEs). Through qualitative approach and in-depth interviews, thisstudy explores the contribution of Islamic banks in providing financial services that adhereto Sharia principles to MSMEs. Findings indicate that Islamic banks provide moreinclusive and sustainable financial access to MSMEs, facilitating business developmentand enhancing their self-reliance. However, challenges such as low understanding of Shariaproducts and limited access still hinder progress.

Abstract

This study employs thematic analysis to identify the main themes in the implementation of Islamic law within the framework of secular law. Legal institutions such as Sharia courts and fatwa councils play a significant role, although they create a dual legal system that can lead to confusion. Implementation challenges include differences in interpretation, resistance from secular groups, and limited resources. Social and cultural dynamics also affect the acceptance of Islamic law, with greater resistance in heterogeneous societies and the influence of globalization promoting secular values. Politics also plays a significant role, with conservative governments tending to support broader implementation of Islamic law, while liberal governments uphold secular principles. The research indicates that Islamic law is often partially integrated into secular legal systems, particularly in countries like Indonesia and Malaysia, with institutions such as Sharia courts and fatwa councils playing crucial roles, despite facing implementation challenges like differing interpretations and resistance from secular groups. The study also identifies challenges in applying religious values in modern life, such as conflicts with secular values, the influence of media and technology, lack of religious education, social pressures, the complexity of modern life, and economic challenges. The integration of moral values in formal education is carried out through subjects, extracurricular activities, and the role of teachers as moral exemplars. Abstract

Building public ethics is a crucial aspect of creating a just and harmonious society. The harmonization between akhlaq (Islamic ethics) and Islamic law plays a central role in this process. Akhlaq, as the moral dimension internalized by individuals through education and social environment, provides the foundation for good and responsible behavior. Islamic law, with its comprehensive normative structure, offers clear and firm guidelines for regulating social interactions and maintaining public order. The combination of both allows for the formation of public ethics based not only on legal compliance but also on high moral values. This research highlights the importance of synergy between akhlaq and Islamic law in building public ethics, focusing on practical applications in society. Through literature analysis and case studies, it is found that this harmonization can enhance individual compliance with the law, strengthen social justice, and promote a collective sense of responsibility. In conclusion, the integration of akhlaq and Islamic law is key to building strong and sustainable public ethics.
