Abstract

The dilemma in determining career options is always faced by end-level students. Ironically as their millenials actually have a lot of options, but because of their no career planning cause they are hesitant in choosing a career option. Research aims to examine obstacles found both internally and externally. Methods of study using survey methods. The results of the survey showed that internally confidence and low selfunderstanding became the main obstacle, while external expectations and adaptation to the lifestyle that makes students feel hesitant in determining career options. The study recommends the need for a career guidance student who focuses on the deepening of personality skills and typologies, in addition to students having to be used to perform creative projects in the PBL, and courses need to add a portion of field practice experience.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the meaning of guidance and counseling service innovation, how to develop innovation, forms of innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic and endemic, identify various efforts to strengthen Guidance and Counseling services. The preparation of this article is based on a literature study that innovation is a very important thing for BK, otherwise BK will not be abandoned by students and not meaningful for students. The way BK teachers develop innovation includes the question of what improvements can be made, creating interesting and meaningful BK services, collaborating to produce innovations. Forms of innovation in the midst of a pandemic include synchronous tele-guidance and Counseling, open service materials that can be accessed by all, self-assessment tutorials, self-healing tutorials. Efforts to increase innovation in BK services through regulation, execution, and empowerment. Based on definite studies as follows; BK teachers always try to think and behave innovatively so that the services developed are attractive to them and the desired goals can be achieved, both during the pandemic and in the final period.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling help students / counselees to understand, accept, direct, make decisions, and realize their decisions responsibly. In an effort to realize integrated guidance and counseling services, strong support is needed. This study aims to determine the implementation of the guidance and counseling service curriculum in SMK Negeri 1 Lalan. This study used the method of observation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the implementation of counseling services at SMK Negeri 1 Lalan is not yet ideal based on the applicable curriculum Guidance and counseling programs provide services that are integrated withdevelopment programs for all aspects of life for students/counselors at school. Guidance and counseling at SMKN 1 Lalan strived to identify the needs of the personal, social, learning, and career fields.

Abstract

One of the characteristics of personal qualities that need to be possessed by a counselor is the skill of empathy. This empathy skill can be interpreted as a way for the counselor to place himself in the feelings of the response to the problems experienced by the counselee. Empathy skills are needed by counselors so that the counseling process can also run effectively and smoothly, in other words, counselors who have empathy and are accompanied by other characteristics can affect the effectiveness of their guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: (1) to describe group guidance services and their implementation for high school students in Palembang City; and (2) produce a group guidance model based on the character values of the Palembang Darusalam sultanate figures for high school students in Palembang City. This study uses research and development (R & D) methods and designs with the following steps: (1) preliminary study and data collection; (2) research planning; (3) hypothetical model design; (4) validation of hypothetical models; (5)model revision; (6) final model. This study involved 2 guidance and counseling experts as expert validators and 5 guidance and counseling teachers as practitioner validators. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the conclusions of this study are: (1) Group guidance services for high school students in Palembang City are carried out discussing topics agreed upon when the implementation of group guidance has begun, and have not discussed the topic of the character values of Palembang figures, and (2) a group guidance model based on the character values of the Palembang Darussalam sultanate figures for high school students in thecity of Palembang. consists of 7 (seven) components, namely rationale, vision and mission, objectives, content of group counseling, support system, stages of group counseling, evaluation and follow-up.

Abstract

This study aims to identify aspects of self-regulated learning in the learning process of Guidance and Counseling students at Sriwijaya University. This research is a basic research and uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population of this study were Guidance andCounseling undergraduate students from the 2018-2021 Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University. The sampling technique used in this study is a purposive sample or a purposive sample. The sample in this study was Guidance and Counseling Students Batch 2021 with a total of 89 students as respondents. The results of data analysis carried out showed that 89% of students were at a high SRL level and 11% at a moderate level, in the analysis of each aspect the cognitive and psychomotor aspects were in the high category while the affective aspects were in the medium category.
