Abstract

Production downtime poses a critical challenge in automotive manufacturing, exerting a direct influence on operational efficiency, line productivity, and corporate profitability. The present study was conducted at an Indonesian automotive company whose shutter production line recorded a downtime level of 15 hours per month (15%)—markedly exceeding the industry benchmark of 5 hours per month (5%). The objective was to systematically diagnose the root causes of this downtime and to design a measurable engineering intervention. The methodology combined a Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagram structured around the 5M+1E framework—Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measurement, and Environment—with a Pareto analysis applied to six months of historical downtime records. The analysis revealed that the inefficient manual shutter-replacement procedure was the dominant contributor, accounting for 42% of total downtime. In response, a trolley shutter system—a mobile steel cart fitted with an adjustable lifting arm—was engineered and rolled out across four phases: prototyping, operator training, piloting, and full deployment. A six-month post-implementation evaluation demonstrated a statistically significant reduction in mean monthly downtime, falling from 15.0 ± 2.3 hours to 5.0 ± 1.1 hours, a 66.7% decrease (t(5) = 9.84; p < 0.001). The per-event shutter-replacement time likewise dropped from 47 minutes to 14 minutes. These findings confirm that pairing systematic root-cause analysis with a well-targeted engineering intervention constitutes an effective and quantifiable strategy for curbing production downtime in automotive manufacturing settings.

Abstract

Kapok randu (Ceiba pentandra L.) is a tropical tree species from the family Malvaceae that holds significant economic and ecological value, particularly in supporting reforestation and sustainable forest management programs. The success of kapok randu cultivation is strongly determined by the quality of seedlings produced during the early growth phase. This study aims to describe the seedling techniques of kapok randu applied at the UPTD Balai Sertifikasi dan Perbenihan Tanaman Hutan (BSPTH) of the West Sumatra Provincial Forestry Service. The method used was direct observation of each seedling stage, including seed soaking, seedling media preparation, sowing, seedling maintenance, and transfer to polybags. The results showed that soaking seeds for 12–24 hours effectively softened the hard seed coat and supported the germination process. Sowing in a mixture of soil and rice husk under shaded conditions, combined with routine watering, successfully supported the gradual emergence of shoots and young leaves. The seedling techniques applied at UPTD BSPTH were found to be effective in supporting the early growth of kapok randu seedlings and can serve as a reference for further seedling and cultivation activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh digital marketing terhadap minat pendaftaran calon mahasiswa baru di Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei eksplanatif dan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 16 responden menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan seluruh item valid dengan nilai Corrected Item-Total Correlation di atas r tabel (0,497), dan uji reliabilitas menghasilkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,931 untuk variabel Digital Marketing dan 0,954 untuk variabel Minat Pendaftaran. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah Y = -0,574 + 0,694X dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,794 menunjukkan bahwa digital marketing mempengaruhi minat pendaftaran sebesar 79,4%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa digital marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat pendaftaran calon mahasiswa baru di UNPRI.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi AI generatif telah melahirkan kemampuan dalam menciptakan karya seni visual berkualitas tinggi secara otomatis, namun sekaligus menimbulkan dampak sistemik yang mengancam keberlangsungan seniman manusia. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis tiga dimensi dampak tersebut seperti pencurian gaya artistik, penggunaan karya tanpa izin sebagai data pelatihan, dan persaingan ekonomi tidak adil dalam kerangka etika dan hukum hak cipta. Penelitian dibatasi pada analisis yuridis-normatif terhadap regulasi hak cipta di lima yurisdiksi tanpa mencakup data empiris kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan konseptual, komparatif, dan perundang-undangan, mengkaji kasus Théâtre D'Opéra Spatial (Colorado State Fair, 2022) sebagai acuan global. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta belum mengakomodasi karya seni berbasis AI secara memadai, sehingga menciptakan kekosongan hukum yang menempatkan 27,4 juta pekerja ekonomi kreatif Indonesia berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dalam risiko kehilangan mata pencaharian. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa perlindungan karya AI memerlukan kontribusi manusia yang substansial dan dapat dibuktikan bukan sekadar prompt dan merekomendasikan adopsi model hibrida berbasis prinsip Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency (FAT) sebagai landasan reformasi regulasi di Indonesia.

Abstract

The One Data Indonesia (Satu Data Indonesia) program is a strategic initiative by the government to realize integrated, accurate, up-to-date, and accessible data governance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the One Data internship program at the Department of Transportation of South Sumatra Province, focusing on the process of data collection, verification, validation, and integration into the One Data dashboard. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through participatory observation, documentation studies, and structured interviews during the internship period from October 2024 to December 2025. The results indicate that the internship program successfully enhanced students' practical competencies in transportation data management, including data cleaning, format standardization, and metadata alignment. The program also contributed to strengthening the regional sectoral data ecosystem through systematic data governance support. However, several challenges were identified, including inconsistent data formats across Regional Government Organizations (OPD), limited system access in the early stages, and varying levels of data literacy among OPD staff. The study concludes that the One Data internship program provides significant benefits for both students and government institutions, and recommends early system access provision, cross-OPD data format standardization, and sustained student involvement to improve the quality and continuity of regional data governance.

Abstract

Product quality is an important factor in the fertilizer industry because it determines quality conformity and the effectiveness of use in the agricultural sector. This study aims to measure the defect rate of NPK reaction fertilizer 15-15-15, determine the Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) value and sigma level, identify the main causes of defects, and formulate quality improvement proposals at the NPK Reaction 2 Plant of PT Petrokimia Gresik. The approach used in this study is Six Sigma with the DMAIC stages, consisting of define, measure, analyze, improve, and control. The research data consist of production data and defective product data collected over 30 days of observation with four Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristics, namely NPK content, granule size, granule hardness, and moisture content. The data processing results show a total production of 15,795 tons with total defects of 579 tons. The DPO value of 0.009164 resulted in a DPMO of 9,164.29 and a sigma level of 3.86. Pareto analysis shows two dominant defects, namely nonconforming NPK content at 40.59% and non-uniform granule size at 30.92%. The p-control chart shows that all observation points are within the control limits, but defects continue to occur repeatedly. The proposed improvements focus on raw material control, feeder calibration, adjustment of reaction and granulation parameters, screen inspection, control of recycled material, drying stabilization, and periodic CTQ monitoring.

Abstract

Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) is a multipurpose plant with high ecological and economic value developed at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for Forest Plant Seed Certification Center, West Sumatera Provincial Forestry Service. The success of jackfruit seedling cultivation is greatly determined by proper maintenance techniques, particularly regular watering. The aim was to observe and describe the effect of regular watering on jackfruit seedling growth. A qualitative descriptive method with direct field observation was employed. Results showed that seedlings watered regularly twice daily (morning and evening) demonstrated optimal growth, including gradual and consistent height increase, fresh green leaves, and sturdy stems. Conversely, seedlings with suboptimal watering exhibited wilting, slow growth, and yellowing of leaves. Seedling growth was also supported by a mixed growing medium of soil, rice husk charcoal, compost, and cocopeat effectively maintained moisture and aeration. Regular watering is proven to be the primary determinant of successful jackfruit seedling production at the UPTD BSPTH nursery.

Abstract

Program Magang Satu Data merupakan bagian dari implementasi kebijakan Satu Data Indonesia yang sejalan dengan program Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Kegiatan magang ini dilaksanakan di Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, khususnya pada unit Pusat Layanan Informasi dan Aplikasi Pendapatan (PUSLIA), dengan fokus kegiatan berupa entri dan pemutakhiran data pendapatan daerah ke dalam Dashboard Sumsel. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengelolaan data pendapatan daerah serta permasalahan yang ditemukan selama pelaksanaan magang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi langsung, partisipasi aktif dalam entri data, diskusi dengan pembimbing lapangan, serta dokumentasi kegiatan harian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa proses entri data mencakup data penerimaan Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB), Bea Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor (BBNKB), sumber pendapatan daerah, serta target dan realisasi pendapatan daerah. Permasalahan utama yang ditemukan adalah ketidakkonsistenan format data, kebutuhan validasi sebelum entri, serta keterbatasan dokumentasi teknis pada masing-masing menu Dashboard Sumsel. Kegiatan magang ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung penyediaan data pendapatan daerah yang lebih terstruktur, akurat, dan mutakhir sesuai dengan prinsip Satu Data Indonesia

Abstract

Reproductive health is an important aspect influenced by the daily habits of college students. This study aims to analyze the influence of daily habits on the reproductive organ health of students at Universitas Negeri Padang. A quantitative descriptive survey method was employed using a questionnaire distributed to 30 student respondents. The results showed that the majority of respondents (64.5%) sleep only 5–6 hours per night, 96.7% stay up late between once a week and almost every day, 50% rarely consume balanced nutritious meals, and 61.2% exercise only 1–2 times per week. These habits correlate with reproductive disorders such as irregular menstrual cycles (32.2% occasionally irregular), moderate to severe dysmenorrhea (43.3%), and urinary tract infection symptoms (19.9%). This study concludes that poor sleep habits, unbalanced diet, high stress levels, and low physical activity significantly contribute to reproductive health disorders among college students.
