Abstract

The manufacturing industry faces challenges in increasing production efficiency due to the high level of waste, such as waiting time, overproduction, and product defects. This study aims to analyze the application of lean manufacturing in improving production efficiency in the manufacturing industry. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various scientific journals, books, and relevant sources that discuss the concept of lean manufacturing and its implementation. The results of the analysis show that the application of lean manufacturing with various tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Waste Assessment Model (WAM), and Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT) can significantly increase production efficiency. Data from several studies show an increase in production efficiency from 67.06% to 86.52%, an increase in process cycle efficiency of 7.61% (from 48.85% to 56.56%), and a decrease in manufacturing lead time from 14,415 seconds to 9,875 seconds, accompanied by an increase in process cycle efficiency from 30.35% to 44.30%. The results of the discussion indicate that lean manufacturing is effective in identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities so that the production process becomes faster, more efficient, and more productive. In conclusion, the implementation of lean manufacturing is an effective and strategic approach to increasing the efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing industry through waste reduction and continuous improvement.

Abstract

Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) is a crucial area in human-computer interaction, where selecting effective feature representations remains a key challenge. This study proposes an SER system using Log-Mel Spectrogram images and a 2D Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The Toronto Emotional Speech Set (TESS) dataset, comprising 2,800 audio samples across 7 balanced emotion classes (400 samples each), was employed. Each audio file was converted into a 128×128-pixel Log-Mel Spectrogram image. The CNN architecture consists of three convolutional blocks (32, 64, and 128 filters) with Batch Normalization and Max Pooling, followed by a Fully Connected layer (128 neurons), Dropout (rate 0.5), and a 7-class Softmax output layer. The model was trained using the Adam optimizer, with early stopping triggered at epoch 22. Experimental results demonstrate that the model achieves 100% classification accuracy on 560 test samples, yielding perfect precision, recall, and F1-score (1.00) for all classes. This research confirms that visual spectrogram representations combined with CNNs can automatically and effectively extract emotional features without manual feature engineering.

Abstract

Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) has achieved remarkable performance under controlled, clean-audio conditions; however, its robustness in noise-laden, real-world environments remains insufficiently characterized. This study investigates the performance degradation of a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based SER system on the RAVDESS dataset when subjected to synthetic noise at various Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) levels (−5, 0, 5, 10, and 15 dB). We compare two widely used feature representations: Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) and Log-Mel Spectrogram. Both models were trained exclusively on clean audio and evaluated under twelve noise conditions using Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) and babble noise. Experimental results on the RAVDESS dataset (2,880 samples, 8 emotion classes) reveal a distinct asymmetry: the MFCC-based CNN achieves a 48.84% clean-audio accuracy with a maximum degradation of 27.08 percentage points (pp). Conversely, the Log-Mel Spectrogram model achieves a higher clean baseline of 66.67% but suffers a severe drop of up to 47.69 pp under noise, approaching the random baseline of 12.5%. These findings demonstrate that MFCC features offer superior robustness to additive noise due to implicit spectral smoothing via mel filterbanks and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), despite exhibiting lower clean-audio discriminability. This research highlights a fundamental trade-off between feature discriminability and noise robustness in uncontrolled acoustic environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen risiko teknologi informasi pada PT. XYZ menggunakan kerangka kerja ISO 31000:2018. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif melalui pengamatan langsung dan penilaian matriks risiko. Proses manajemen risiko mencakup identifikasi aset TI (data, perangkat lunak, dan perangkat keras), identifikasi 24 kemungkinan risiko dari faktor alam, sistem infrastruktur, dan manusia, serta analisis dan evaluasi menggunakan nilai likelihood dan impact. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan terdapat 4 risiko tinggi, 12 risiko sedang, dan 1 risiko rendah. Risiko tertinggi meliputi koneksi jaringan tidak stabil, koneksi terputus, server down, dan maintenance tidak terjadwal. Sebagai tindak lanjut, disusun rencana mitigasi mencakup penyediaan koneksi cadangan, pemulihan bencana, pemeliharaan berkala, dan penguatan keamanan informasi. Penerapan ISO 31000:2018 terbukti membantu perusahaan dalam mengelola risiko secara terstruktur demi menjaga keberlangsungan operasional bisnis.

Abstract

High-density residential areas have a high level of vulnerability to earthquake disasters, particularly when located near active faults such as the Lembang Fault in Bandung City. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of evacuation routes and to identify potential safe assembly points within a densely populated area of Padasuka Subdistrict. The research methods include field observation, visual documentation, recording of actual evacuation routes using the Strava application (GPS tracking), and Space Syntax analysis using UCL Depthmap. The observations indicate that the area is characterized by narrow road networks, numerous dead-end streets, and a lack of open spaces, which significantly limit evacuation route options. The analysis results show that only a few main corridors have high integration and choice values, while most local paths exhibit low values, indicating network fragmentation and limited connectivity. These findings demonstrate that physical environmental conditions strongly influence evacuation effectiveness. The study concludes that evacuation routes require optimization through the creation of new access points, capacity enhancement of main corridors, and the addition of safe assembly points based on safe-radius criteria. The integration of syntactic analysis and GPS-based data is proven to be effective in formulating disaster mitigation strategies in high-density residential areas.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages government agencies to improve the effectiveness of data management and administrative services through the utilization of information systems. The Palembang State Asset and Auction Service Office (KPKNL Palembang) still faces several challenges in managing official vehicle borrowing and auction minutes because some administrative processes are carried out manually. This condition has the potential to cause delays in data retrieval, recording errors, and difficulties in monitoring borrowing status. This study aims to analyze user requirements and design the interface of an Information System for Official Vehicle Borrowing and Auction Minutes that meets the operational needs of KPKNL Palembang. Data collection methods were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the designed system requires features for vehicle data management, auction minutes data, borrowing requests, borrowing approvals, returns, data searches, and reporting. The interface design was developed based on user requirements to provide a system overview that is easier to use, structured, and supports the effectiveness of administrative management. With this design, the future system development process is expected to be carried out in a more directed manner according to user needs.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has brought significant changes to the field of education. One of the innovations widely adopted is interactive multimedia, which integrates text, images, audio, video, animation, and user interaction into a single learning medium. The development of interactive multimedia aims to enhance the quality of learning, increase students' learning motivation, and improve their understanding of the subject matter. This article employs a literature review method by analyzing various studies related to the development of interactive multimedia in education. The findings indicate that interactive multimedia can increase student engagement, accommodate different learning styles, and improve learning outcomes compared to conventional teaching methods. The development of interactive multimedia can be carried out using models such as ADDIE and the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), both of which have proven effective in producing feasible and effective learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the design of Bandung City Hall Park on the behavior and experiences of public open space users through an environmental psychology approach. City parks, as public spaces, play a crucial role in supporting social activities, recreation, and the comfort of urban communities. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method with field observations conducted in several key areas of the park, including vegetation, seating areas, pedestrian paths, ponds, and green open spaces. Observations focused on user activity patterns, the intensity of space use, and the forms of social interactions occurring within the park. The results indicate that the physical design of Bandung City Hall Park significantly influences user behavior. Vegetation elements function to create thermal comfort, enhance the visual quality of the environment, and create a calming atmosphere. Seating areas scattered throughout various locations support rest and social interaction, while pedestrian paths facilitate mobility and leisurely walks. The diversity of activities demonstrated that the park functions optimally as a public space that supports relaxation, social interaction, and positive environmental experiences. The research findings confirm that the quality of public open space design is closely related to user behavior, psychological comfort, and the formation of meaning of place for urban residents.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat mendorong perusahaan untuk memanfaatkan sistem informasi guna meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan data dan mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan. PT Teknologi Informatika Solusindo menghadapi permasalahan berupa belum tersedianya sistem dashboard bisnis yang mampu menyajikan informasi perusahaan secara terintegrasi, real-time, dan informatif, sehingga aktivitas pemantauan data bisnis belum dapat dilakukan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem dashboard bisnis berbasis web serta mengevaluasi kualitas sistem yang dihasilkan berdasarkan standar ISO/IEC 25010. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed method dengan model pengembangan perangkat lunak Prototype yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, pembuatan prototype, evaluasi pengguna, penyempurnaan sistem, dan pengujian kualitas perangkat lunak. Evaluasi kualitas sistem dilakukan berdasarkan delapan karakteristik ISO/IEC 25010, yaitu Functional Suitability, Performance Efficiency, Compatibility, Usability, Reliability, Security, Maintainability, dan Portability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dashboard bisnis berhasil dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dan mampu menyajikan informasi bisnis secara terintegrasi melalui visualisasi data yang informatif. Pengujian kualitas perangkat lunak menghasilkan nilai Functional Suitability sebesar 81%, Performance Efficiency sebesar 84%, Compatibility sebesar 83%, Usability sebesar 81%, Reliability sebesar 83%, Security sebesar 85%, Maintainability sebesar 83%, dan Portability sebesar 83%. Berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi seluruh karakteristik tersebut, diperoleh nilai kualitas keseluruhan sebesar 82,88% yang termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem memiliki tingkat kualitas yang tinggi, mampu mendukung proses bisnis perusahaan secara efektif, memiliki tingkat keamanan dan keandalan yang memadai, mudah digunakan oleh pengguna, serta dapat dipelihara dan diimplementasikan pada berbagai lingkungan operasional dengan tingkat fleksibilitas yang baik. Dengan demikian, sistem dashboard bisnis yang dikembangkan dinilai layak untuk digunakan sebagai sarana pendukung pengelolaan informasi dan pengambilan keputusan di lingkungan perusahaan.

Abstract

Organisasi himpunan mahasiswa sering menghadapi berbagai permasalahan dalam pengelolaan program kerja dan kegiatan organisasi yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Permasalahan tersebut meliputi progres program kerja yang tidak terpantau dengan jelas, laporan kegiatan yang tercecer, hasil evaluasi yang sulit ditemukan kembali, kesulitan ketua dalam memantau kinerja divisi, timeline kegiatan yang tidak teratur, serta risiko kehilangan data akibat pergantian kepengurusan setiap periode. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan rendahnya efektivitas pengelolaan organisasi dan menurunkan tingkat akuntabilitas pelaksanaan program kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan merancang sistem informasi monitoring program kerja dan evaluasi kegiatan berbasis web pada himpunan mahasiswa. Sistem yang dirancang berfungsi sebagai media pengelolaan dan pengawasan kegiatan organisasi secara terintegrasi, meliputi pencatatan program kerja, monitoring progres kegiatan, pengelolaan timeline dan kalender, pembuatan laporan kegiatan, evaluasi hasil kegiatan, serta monitoring proforma divisi atau panitia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model waterfall yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, dan implementasi desain sistem. Pada tahap perancangan digunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) yang meliputi use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, dan class diagram untuk memvisualisasikan kebutuhan sistem berdasarkan hak akses pengguna. Hasil penelitian berupa rancangan sistem informasi monitoring yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan transparansi organisasi, mempermudah proses monitoring kegiatan, mengurangi risiko kehilangan data, serta membantu pimpinan organisasi dalam pengambilan keputusan berbasis data pada lingkungan perguruan tinggi.
