Abstract

The tiered referral system in the National Health Insurance (JKN) program organized by BPJS Kesehatan aims to ensure effective, efficient, and medically appropriate health services for participants. However, the implementation of this system still faces various obstacles, such as inconsistent referral flow, low participant understanding of the referral mechanism, and limited facilities at the primary care level. This study aims to analyze the problems faced in the BPJS tiered referral system and provide recommendations for optimization based on information technology, improving the quality of human resources, and strengthening coordination between health facilities. The method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach, through interviews and analysis of policy documents. The results show that optimization of the referral system can be achieved by digitizing the referral process, continuous socialization to participants and medical personnel, and increasing the capabilities of first-level health facilities. With appropriate improvements, BPJS's tiered referral system is expected to improve access, quality, and continuity of health services for all JKN participants.

Abstract

Service activities begin with the patient registration process through the e-Queue machine and the Outpatient Registration Area (TPPRJ). The patient registration procedure in the outpatient department is divided into new and existing patients. A structured procedure can reduce potential delays in the registration process, thereby speeding up the service flow and increasing patient satisfaction. The outpatient registration process at the Sei Panas Community Health Center has been running according to established procedures, with the e-Queue system simplifying patient registration. However, observations at the Sei Panas Community Health Center indicate that some patients do not bring their identification, thus causing obstacles in the outpatient registration process. This will impact the ineffectiveness of outpatient registration services at the Sei Panas Community Health Center. Some of these obstacles include patients who do not bring their identification (KTP / KK / BPJS / KIA) when registering for treatment. Due to these obstacles, we conducted outreach to patients to bring their identification before coming to the health center. This will not hinder staff in carrying out the registration process.

Abstract

Educational activities on the Utilization of Medicinal Plants: Landep Leaves (Barleria prionitis L.) as an Alternative Herbal Cholesterol Lowering in Gedangan Village, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency were motivated by the high prevalence of hypercholesterolemia as a risk factor for cardiovascular disease, as well as the low utilization of family medicinal plants (TOGA), especially landep leaves which have anti-cholesterol potential. The implementation method included health education on hypercholesterolemia and the benefits of landep leaves, as well as practical training on processing landep leaves into herbal tea. The target of the activity was the Gedangan Village community, especially PKK mothers and health cadres. Evaluation was carried out using pre-tests and post-tests to measure increased knowledge, as well as a satisfaction index questionnaire from LPPM. The results of the activity showed an increase in participant knowledge by 13% (the average pre-test score was 7.70 increasing to 8.70), with the results of the paired t-test showing a p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means a statistically significant increase. Furthermore, the activity received a very satisfactory rating with an average satisfaction score of 4.997. Participants also gained practical skills in processing landep leaves into herbal tea, which has the potential to be developed as a simple health product or a local business opportunity. Overall, this activity proved beneficial in increasing public knowledge, skills, and awareness regarding the use of herbal plants. Sustainability of the program is recommended through mentoring, monitoring, and the development of cross-sector collaboration to support broader and more sustainable herbal use

Abstract

Sports injuries are a common risk faced by high school students, especially in sports-focused schools, due to high training and competition intensity. The main problem is the lack of knowledge and practical skills in providing appropriate first aid, which can potentially worsen injuries and delay recovery. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to enhance the competence of students at SMA Olahraga Pekanbaru through education and practical training in sports injury first aid. The method used is an interactive workshop combining theoretical presentation (covering RICE/POLICE principles, identification of common injuries) with hands-on simulation practice (such as bandaging and immobilization techniques) using props. The target participants are 20 students from various sports. Expected outcomes include increased participant knowledge and skills (measured through pre-test and post-test), as well as supporting products such as training modules, documentation videos, and a scientific article. This activity is expected to foster a culture of sports safety and reduce the negative impact of improperly managed injuries.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to develop early environmental awareness among lower-grade elementary school students through a Visual Communication Design approach. The main issue faced by the partner school is the low awareness and habit of students in disposing of waste properly within the school environment. The program was implemented with second-grade students at SD Islam Al-Rasyid Pekanbaru using a participatory learning method that integrates environmental education and creative poster-making activities. The program stages included the delivery of environmental cleanliness education through visual media, followed by guided poster creation using basic visual communication design principles adapted to the cognitive characteristics of elementary school students. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of proper waste disposal behavior, as reflected in active participation, the ability to recognize simple waste categories, and positive behavioral changes observed during the activity. In addition, the posters created by students function as sustainable educational media within the school environment. This program demonstrates that creative visual-based approaches in Visual Communication Design are effective tools for environmental education at an early age.

Abstract

The Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) is a QR Code payment standard for Indonesian payment systems developed by Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Payment Systems Association (ASPI). Digital transformation itself means the comprehensive expansion of strategies, operations, processes, methodologies, business practices, and talent, all of which are combined to deliver more efficient and cost-effective results. The various benefits and objectives of financial digitization still have loopholes for crime. Digital crime also occurs in the use of financial applications in fintech, activities or financial transactions that previously had to be paid for using cash, can now be done easily with financial wallet applications / e-wallets often known as Dana, Shopeepay, Gopay and many more. Many students do not fully understand available security mechanisms, such as two-factor authentication, making them vulnerable to the risk of fraud. Younger age groups tend to ignore security protocols because they prioritize practicality. Community Service activities were carried out at SMAN Olahraga Pekanbaru.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Koto Masjid Village is a village in Koto Kampar District XIII, with a fairly busy community. One important aspect of maintaining public health is instilling clean and healthy lifestyle habits from an early age in elementary school-aged children. In response to this situation, the author initiated the "Personal Hygiene Counseling as an Effort to Prevent Infectious Diseases in Elementary School Children in Koto Masjid Village" work program to increase awareness and encourage elementary school students to practice personal hygiene. This activity was implemented through an interactive counseling method that directly involved students. The main focus of the material covered crucial steps in maintaining personal hygiene, from proper handwashing with soap and coughing and sneezing etiquette to prevent the spread of germs, the importance of using personal eating utensils and toiletries (not sharing), to education about nail and skin hygiene. This education is crucial for providing a proper understanding of the prevention of infectious diseases that frequently occur in the school environment. As a means of ongoing education, the author also created and displayed guide posters at strategic points around the school. The poster provides a concise visualization of handwashing procedures, coughing and sneezing etiquette, personal hygiene, and nail and skin care. The expected outcome is increased health literacy and behavioral changes among students in Koto Masjid Village, resulting in a healthier school environment responsive to preventing disease transmission at the individual level.
