TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya
TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya is a peer-reviewed scientific open access journal, with e-ISSN 2549-5941 and p-ISSN 2549-5971 It has been published by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Tidar. The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through initial review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to peer reviewer (Mitra Bestari) and will go to the next selection by the double-blind review process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. In each manuscript, peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by editors according to reviewers comments. Peer reviewer that collaboration with Transformatika: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya is the experts in the linguistics, literature, and their teaching area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious journal management and publication that was spread around the nation and abroad. TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya is issued quarterly: in March, June, September, and December. TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya features research novelties and significance for scientific advancement in one of the fields of the published manuscripts. This journal welcomes submissions from around the world as well as from Indonesia. Manuscripts published including. Linguistics; phonology, morphology, syntax, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and critical discourse analysis. Literature: local literature studies, Indonesian literature, foreign literature studies, children literature, literature studies for character education, and other literary studies. Indonesian Language and Literature: curriculum development, learning methods, learning materials, learning media, assessment, Indonesian language learning across curricula, information and communications technology in Indonesian language learning, language skills, and other Indonesian language learning analyses. This research specifically aims to describe the personality structure and personality of the character Lucas Ford in the novel In a Blue Moon by Ilana Tan. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This type of research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive method, which collects and analyzes scientific data and then describes the facts in detail to determine the personality structure and personality of the character Lucas Ford in the novel In a Blue Moon by Ilana Tan. The research studied is the personality structure and personalities of characters in literary works. This approach will provide an overview of the thought processes experienced by Lucas Ford in the form of id, ego, and superego personality structures, and in the form of choleric, melanchole, phlegma, and sanguine personalities. The results of the research show that Lucas Ford's personality structure in the novel In a Blue Moon Ilana Tan's work is Lucas Ford's id which tries to find pleasure, the ego which adheres to the principles of reality and reality while the superego tries to understand the needs of the id and ego. Lucas Ford's personality in the novel In a Blue Moon by Ilana Tan is the more prominent of the four personalities, namely choleric (choleric). Lucas Ford's personality is wise, focused on goals, confident, firm, flammable, brave and honest. The choleric personality also has ego and superego personality structures.

This research is motivated by shifts in increasingly complex religious values. The widespread news regarding the phenomenon of excessive selfies during the Umrah pilgrimage illustrates a shift in religious values. This research aims to describe the religious values contained in the novel Assalamu'alaikum Baitullah by Asma Nadia. The method used is qualitative with descriptive data analysis techniques. This research uses two data collection techniques, namely observation techniques and literature study techniques. Primary data was obtained from the novel Assalamu'alaikum Baitullah by Asma Nadia and secondary data was obtained from various relevant sources. The theory used is the Atmosuwito religious value theory. The results of the research show that there are six aspects of religious values in the novel Assalamu'alaikum Baitullah by Asma Nadia, namely; 1) surrender, submission, and obedience, 2) a life full of glory, 3) inner feelings of connection with God, 4) feelings of sin, 5) feelings of fear, and 6) recognizing the greatness of God. Novels that contain religious values, if studied, can influence someone to apply religious values in everyday life. This research will be recommended as module type printed teaching material for second semester high school students in class XII.

This classroom action research was conducted to examine the extent to which the application of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) model combined with the Quizizz game media can increase students' learning motivation. The subjects of this study were 30 students of class XII I of SMAN 5 Kupang. This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data measured were the activeness and learning motivation of students. The activeness of students was measured using an observation sheet of learning implementation observed by two observers, while learning motivation was measured using a motivation questionnaire consisting of 20 items. The indicators measured in the motivation questionnaire consisted of attention, relevance, satisfaction, and confidence. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study obtained: 1) in cycle I, students were seen to be inactive, lacking initiative in noting down important points about the material, and in cycle II they were seen to be active and enthusiastic in answering questions from teachers and friends, and were brave enough to ask questions. 2) students' learning motivation increased, in cycle I 60% were very good: 6.66 were quite good: and 33% were not good. While in cycle II, 90% of students were categorized as very good, and 10% were quite good. The results of this study indicate that the use of the TGT model based on Quizizz media can increase students' learning activity and motivation.

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in listening to observation reports about certain cultural objects presented in video form. Based on the phenomena that occur, students are less critical in thinking and tend to look for shortcuts in critical thinking. The shortcut in question is that students prefer to describe the objects they observe according to the results of their research on online sites, so that the content and results of listening can be said to be different. The formulation of the problem in this research is how students' critical thinking capacity is when listening to videos. Learning is carried out using interactive media. The interactive media used is the wordwall application. The method used was classroom action research which lasted 2 cycles. This research began by testing the initial conditions, namely students' critical thinking abilities based on the results of watching videos. In cycle I it is related to the results of work in the listening process. The sample used was 36 students in class The research results obtained were that classical completion in the initial condition test of students' critical thinking ability only reached 11.11%, in cycle I critical thinking ability was 30.55% and in cycle II critical thinking ability was 80.55. Thus, classroom action research to improve students' critical thinking skills in listening using wordwall learning media was declared successful.

Memory receives various influences from the social background, starting from the surrounding community where the individual lives. Interactions between individuals, including with the community, foster memory. This shows that remembering requires a social context to materialize. One manifestation of memory is from individual trauma or collective trauma in a society. The source of memory is rooted in the collective material of human social products. Then, the memory develops and creates a correlation between people in society. One of the collective memories that prevails in Indonesia is the memory related to the struggle for independence. Society has a memory of the memories that occurred since the Dutch colonial era in Indonesia. This collective memory then becomes very interesting if explored with a theory that can see how unbroken the chain of memory in society is. The researcher then conducted research related to memory trauma in a collection of short stories by Iksaka Banu entitled “Semua Untuk Hindia” to see how the story responded to the traumas that occurred. This research uses informal data from a short story written by Iksaka Banu that tells a fictional story with a historical background, especially nostalgia for the colonial period. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which uses research and produces descriptive data in the form of written words such as dialog and sentences contained in novel. The qualitative method used is a descriptive method by presenting data as evidence that the author expresses collective memory in a novel. The results found that the author indirectly describes collective memory in the form of interrelated events during the Dutch colonization period.

This study examines the process of translating song lyrics from Javanese to Indonesian, focusing on the translation techniques used by Mad Lyric, a popular YouTube channel known for its song translations. The increasing popularity of Javanese songs plays a significant role in preserving cultural heritage, but translating song lyrics poses challenges in maintaining the authenticity of meaning and linguistic style. The aim of this study is to identify the translation techniques applied by Mad Lyric and to understand how they preserve meaning and style in the translated lyrics. A descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis was used, focusing on the lyrics translated by Mad Lyric on their YouTube channel. The data were analyzed based on translation techniques, such as literal translation, reduction, amplification, and modulation. The results show that Mad Lyric prioritizes maintaining the original message while adapting it into a more natural and easily understandable style in Indonesian. Modulation and amplification techniques were more dominant in preserving the original nuance of the lyrics while adjusting expressions to the target language. These findings highlight the importance of understa nding cultural and linguistic contexts in music translation, which ultimately enhances the quality of interlanguage translation while preserving the essence of the original message.

The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of inferiority and superiority found in the novel Selena by Tere Liye. The benefits of this study are to increase knowledge about literary science, especially in the field of literary psychology research. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. The data used in this study are sentences, quotes, or excerpts that show conformity with Alfred Adler's Inferiority and Superiority theory. The data collection techniques used in this study are library techniques, reading techniques, and note-taking techniques. Then the data analysis technique in this study uses the Miles and Huberman analysis technique which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions from the data obtained. The results of this study indicate the existence of forms of inferiority in the form of timidity, hesitance, insecurity, cowardice, and submissive obedience. Meanwhile, the form of superiority contained in the Selena novel by Tere Liye is in the form of the final goal that the main character wants to achieve, namely to become a student at the High Shadow Academy (ABTT) and to be able to defend himself to become a student at the High Shadow Academy (ABTT), then the strength of struggle as a form of compensation manifested in the form of courage, stubbornness, rebelliousness, and opposition. And the struggle that is carried out is to achieve personal superiority.

Conflict is a social process between two or more people who have their own interests and goals. Where one party tries to get rid of the other party by destroying it. Social conflict is a dispute or dispute that often occurs in society and has a perception of differences in interests or beliefs. Every individual definitely has their own goals and interests so that social conflict is an inevitable part of society. In studying and analyzing social conflict in literary works, another science is needed, namely literary sociology. This research aims to describe the motif of social conflict contained in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S Chudori. In analyzing the novel Laut Bercerita, the research used is literary sociology. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The qualitative descriptive method produces data in the form of words in the form of quotationsas problem solving. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Pır Le Maker application on student learning outcomes in listening to news text material in class XI. This study uses a pre-experimental design method, one group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used by the researcher is purposive sampling. The number of samples used is 30 students. Data collection techniques using interviews, tests, documentation, Data analysis techniques for this study: validity test, reliability test, normality test and paired sample t-test. The research instrument is an essay test of 20 questions. Based on the results of the study and data analysis, the ability to listen to news texts of students in class XI before using the puzzle maker media or pretest has an average of 67.86 Then after using the puzzle maker media or posttest there is an increase with an average of 83.23 Based on the paired sample test 1 test shows a sig value level (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 with the results of the hypothesis Ho rejected and H, accepted. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the puzzle maker application has a positive influence on student learning outcomes in listening to news text material. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference for teachers and curriculum developers in integrating interactive and interesting learning technology in the learning process.

Violence against women in Indonesia remains widespread, with limited awareness. Literature, particularly Andina Dwifatma’s novels Semusim dan Semusim Lagi (SSL) and Lebih Senyap dari Bisikan (LSB), can effectively address this issue. This research aims to identify emerging women's issues in these works, using feminist theory for analysis. The study used note-taking for data collection and content analysis for evaluation. Findings reveal themes of power dynamics, subordination, stereotyping, and various forms of violence, including verbal abuse, physical aggression, psychological neglect, and sexual grooming, often perpetuated by those who uphold patriarchal values. Women lacking agency struggle to resist this violence. SSL primarily examines violence through themes of fatherlessness and grooming, with characters who typically lack the ability to resist. In contrast, LSB explores the complexities of domestic life and women's burdens, featuring characters with greater agency to confront their challenges.
