Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between the learning process to write proposals and the results of students' proposal writing abilities. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires and document analysis from a sample of students taking the proposal writing course. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between the quality of the proposal writing learning process and students' proposal writing abilities. Factors such as teaching methods, teaching materials, and the level of student involvement in the learning process contribute positively to improving proposal writing skills. The implications of this research indicate that improving the quality of the learning process can improve the results of students' proposal writing abilities, which in turn can support their academic and professional success.

Abstract

Gen Z is an agent of change, so it is undeniable that strengthening political education as a preventive and educational effort is very important to be conveyed from an early age so that it is known and understood by generation Z. This study aims to find out the understanding of generation Z about the practice of legislative election democracy. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Descriptive research is research that aims to reveal existing facts and descriptive according to phenomena. The type of qualitative descriptive research is the disclosure and clarification of a phenomenon or social statement. The results of the study show that Gen Z has a fairly high level of political awareness. Many of them understand the importance of participation in legislative elections as a means to voice aspirations and determine the direction of state policy. This is driven by extensive access to information through social media and the internet, which provides them with a deeper knowledge of political issues and democratic processes.

Abstract

The main character has a strong ego so this will be related to the id and superego. But when anxiety arises, the ego must try to be strong against whatever happens. There is an ego defense mechanism carried out by the main character due to the emergence of neurotic anxiety. The aim of this research is to determine the form of ego defense mechanism used by the main character and the form of neurotic anxiety experienced by the main character in the novel Mendhung Angendanu. This research uses a qualitative research method that focuses more on analytical descriptiveness using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The data sources for this research are divided into two, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary data sources are the main data sources, namely using a Javanese novel entitled Mendhung Angendanu which was published in 2022. And secondary data sources are supporting data sources such as previous research, journals, books that are appropriate to the research topic. The results of this research show that the ego defense mechanisms used by the main character are sublimation, regression, rationalization and repression. This ego defense mechanism is caused by a mental problem in the form of neurotic anxiety, namely hurt, frustration and lack of self-confidence.

Abstract

Da'wah in the world of film is increasingly developing, as reflected in the film Ajari Aku Islam, which depicts the dynamics of the relationship between a non-Muslim man and a Muslim woman when they fall in love. This film highlights the struggle of a non-Muslim young man who is persistent in studying the Islamic religion, starting from love for individuals and then developing into love for religion. This theme is relevant to the phenomenon of interfaith love which often faces obstacles, such as disapproval from the family. In fact, some prefer to embrace their partner's religion, distancing themselves from their previous beliefs. Therefore, it is important to examine the preaching messages embedded in this film, using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic approach. This research aims to reveal the message of da'wah through analysis of icons, indices and symbols contained in films. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that in its 93 minute duration, the film conveys da'wah messages about faith, sharia, morals and muamalah. The preaching message is an illustration of the dynamics of love across religions, and this film can be a guide for those who face similar situations.

Abstract

The constitution in a country, including Indonesia, is the source and basis making rules that have main principles, such as the rights and obligations of citizens. Human rigidity is the basis inherent in men as a gift from God, while the rights and obligations of citizens are a gift from the state. These are both concepts included in the second amendment to the 1945 Constitution, and cannot even be separated from each other because the two have a close relationship. The rights and obligations of citizens are an essential requirement of state legal democracy and must be implemented by people or citizens. Therefore, conceptual and strategic steps are needed so that the life of the nation and state becomes correct and fair under the auspices of the laws of a democratic country.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of educational philosophy, explains the relationship between philosophy and educational theory, as well as the relationship between philosophy, education and culture. Educational philosophy is seen as a structured thinking process that uses philosophy as a guide in organizing, aligning, and integrating steps in education. The article also details definitions from several experts, such as Al-Syaibany, John Dewey, and Imam Barnadib, who describe educational philosophy as a philosophical analysis of education. In relation to educational theory, the article explains that educational philosophy conveys its philosophical principles to educational theory, often facing challenges that require contributions from educational philosophy. In addition, the article outlines the relationship between philosophy and culture, where culture is considered as a manifestation of human nature, and philosophy as a systematic and universal method of thinking that includes every soul. Finally, the article presents a view on the relationship between education and culture, describing education as a philosophical activity that aims to explain, harmonize, assess and change the educational process by considering cultural issues. Education is considered to have a dual responsibility, namely developing individual potential and preserving cultural values, which are sustainable and provide mutual support.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the students' perceived low ability in learning to write response texts. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in learning to write response texts to fiction reading. Actions were taken by implementing the mobile legend online game hero story text media in learning to write response texts for fiction reading. This research used a Class Action Research (PTK) design which was carried out over 2 cycles. The subjects in this research were students in class VII-I of SMPN 4 Madiun for the 2023-2024 academic year with a total of 32 students, consisting of 16 male students and 16 female students. The data in the research were taken through response text writing skills tests and learning observations. The data obtained was then analyzed using comparative descriptive analysis techniques. The research results showed that the ability to write response texts to fiction reading increased. This is proven by the increase in student learning outcomes from the pre-cycle stage to the second cycle stage. The percentage of students' learning completeness increased successively, namely 33%; 56%; and 83%. The average score obtained by students also increases with each lesson. The average increase in students' grades sequentially in each cycle is 51.25; 65.3; and 80.7

Abstract

This research aims to utilize Canva learning media to improve learning outcomes for class VII C SMPN 4 Madiun on response text material. This research is a Class Action research (PTK) showing the effectiveness of the Canva media in improving students' learning completion results in the Pre-Cycle, Cycle I and Cycle II phases. It was found that student learning outcomes in diagnostic assessments only reached 3% and 9% increased to 90% when the application of Canva media was combined with a content differentiation and product differentiation approach. The data collection technique uses document analysis in the form of learning results of class VII C students at SMPN 4 Madiun which went through a validity test by the Indonesian language subject teacher. So the use of Canva learning media in response text material has been proven to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of improving students' reading skills in Indonesian language subjects using picture story media in class I elementary school at the Al-Marhamah Mosque through a case study method supported by Picture Story media. The subjects were 10 students in class I of Al-Marhamah Mosque Elementary School. Data collection techniques use tests and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative. The results of the research show an increase in the percentage of reading results, this can be seen from the completion of the KKM or target students from action activities, namely in this study there were 8 students who were fluent in reading. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of picture story media with the help of picture stories in Indonesian language learning can improve students' reading skills even though there are still students who are not yet fluent in reading.
