Abstract

In the era of social media, public figures do not merely share their personal lives but also construct self-image through linguistic practices that reflect social and religious identities. One such practice is sharenting, the act of sharing content about children or family life accompanied by specific narratives. Linguistic practices on social media, particularly sharenting by public figures, serve as a means of constructing and expressing intertwined social and religious identities. This study explores how language choices in the image captions of sharenting content posted by Oki Setiana Dewi, a Muslim celebrity known as both a preacher and a mother, reflect the construction of a Muslim mother identity in digital spaces. The research employs a qualitative sociolinguistic approach to analyze the language choices in the captions. The analysis reveals that the use of religious diction, prayerful expressions, and spiritual narratives serves as a linguistic strategy to affirm the mother's role as a moral educator and guardian of Islamic values within the family. Language functions not only as a means of conveying information but also as a tool for establishing social relations, constructing a religious self-image, and expressing the speaker's ideological position. Linguistic practices on social media can be understood as a means of representing Islamic identity while simultaneously reinforcing social credibility as a Muslim female public figure.   Di era media sosial, figur publik tidak hanya membagikan kehidupan pribadi, tetapi juga membangun citra diri melalui praktik kebahasaan yang mencerminkan identitas sosial dan religius. Salah satu bentuknya adalah konten sharenting, yakni aktivitas membagikan kehidupan anak atau keluarga yang disertai narasi tertentu. Kajian ini berfokus pada takarir gambar (caption) dalam konten sharenting yang diunggah oleh Oki Setiana Dewi, seorang selebritas Muslimah yang dikenal sebagai pendakwah dan ibu. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiolinguistik secara kualitatif, penelitian ini menelaah bagaimana pilihan bahasa dalam caption mencerminkan konstruksi identitas sebagai ibu Muslimah di ruang digital. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan diksi religius, ungkapan doa, serta narasi spiritual menjadi strategi kebahasaan yang menegaskan peran ibu sebagai pendidik moral dan penjaga nilai-nilai Islam dalam keluarga. Bahasa tidak hanya berfungsi untuk menyampaikan informasi, tetapi juga membentuk relasi sosial, membangun citra diri religius, dan menunjukkan posisi ideologis pembicara. Dengan demikian, praktik kebahasaan dalam media sosial dapat dipahami sebagai sarana representasi identitas keislaman sekaligus upaya membangun kredibilitas sosial sebagai figur publik Muslimah.

Abstract

Sluke Village, Sluke District, Rembang Regency, Central Java, is a coastal area. The characteristics of coastal areas produce a culture in the form of folklore with various forms, such as fairy tales, proverbs, parikan (pantun), and seloka. One of the oral folklore that is very famous and has not been studied by other researchers from the perspective of character values, namely the oral story "Dewi Siti Sarijati". Therefore, it is very appropriate to be studied. The purpose of this study is to analyze the character values contained in the oral story of Dewi Siti Sarijati. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data are in the form of fragments of the story of Dewi Siti Sarijati, and the data sources are the results of interviews with informants (community leaders, practitioners, teachers, writers, and officials, who understand the story of Dewi Siti Sarijati). Data collection techniques include (1) literature study, (2) observation, (3) interviews, (4) recording, (5) note-taking, and (6) transcription. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the oral story of Dewi Siti Sarijati has comprehensive character values in the form of religious values, nationalism, independence, mutual cooperation, and integrity. This proves that the oral story "Dewi Siti Sarijati" from Sluke Village, Sluke District, Rembang Regency, Central Java, can be used as material for character education. Therefore, in general, folklore can be used as a means to strengthen national character.    Desa Sluke, Kecamatan Sluke, Kabupaten Rembang, Jawa Tengah,  merupakan wilayah pesisir. Karakteristik wilayah pesisir menghasilkan kebudayaan berupa cerita rakyat dengan berbagi bentuknya, seperti dongeng, pepatah, parikan (pantun), dan seloka. Salah satu cerita rakyat lisan yang sangat terrkenal dan belum diteliti oleh peneliti lain dari sudut nilai karakter, yakni cerita lisan “Dewi Siti Sarijati”. Oleh sebab itu, sangat tepat untuk diteliti. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam cerita lisan Dewi Siti Sarijati. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Data berupa penggalan cerita Dewi Siti Sarijati dan sumber datanya hasil wawancara pada para narasumber (tokoh masyarakat, praktisi, guru, penulis, pejabat, yang memahami cerita Dewi Siti Sarijati). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui (1) studi pustaka, (2) observasi, (3) wawancara, (4) perekaman, (5) pencatatan, dan (6) transkripsi. Teknik analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerita lisan Dewi Siti Sarijati memiliki nilai karakter secara komprehensi berupa nilai religius, nasionalisme, mandiri, gotong royong, dan integritas. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa cerita lisan “Dewi Siti Sarijati”  di Desa Sluke, Kecamatan Sluke, Kabupaten Rembang, Jawa Tengah; dapat dijadikan materi dalam pendidikan karakter. Oleh sebab itu,  secara umum cerita rakyat dapat dijadikan sarana untuk penguatan karakter bangsa.

Abstract

The development of the digital era has significantly changed the style of education, making the learning process more interactive. In Indonesian language learning, there are four skills, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Writing is a bridge for someone to convey their ideas and aspirations. This study aims to determine the quality of writing by students at Taqiyya Rosyida Junior High School after using the Dhatu Handmade YouTube account as a learning medium. This account was chosen because it suits the needs of students and focuses on handicrafts, so that students will indirectly learn about cultural arts. Learning using YouTube can help students understand and apply procedural texts in writing, so that students become more independent in their learning. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study type of research. The case study approach is a process in which the researcher observes learning comprehensively, starting from the interaction between teachers and students, the use of YouTube media during learning activities, to changes in students' writing results. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the steps of grouping data, presenting data findings, and drawing conclusions to obtain the learning process and results. The subjects of this study included Indonesian language teacher, Indaryati, S.Pd., and male seventh-grade students at Taqiyya Rosyida Junior High School. The results showed that all groups 1-5 obtained scores above the minimum passing grade, ranging from 80 to 90, indicating that the use of YouTube media had a positive contribution to students' writing skills. The assessment, which was conducted using the covered structure (title, purpose, tools, materials, steps) and linguistic aspects (imperative sentences, temporal conjunctions, and detail words). Perkembangan era digital telah mengubah gaya Pendidikan secara signifikan sehingga proses pembelajaran berlangsung lebih interaktif. Dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, terdapat empat keterampilan yaitu menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Menulis menjadi jembatan seseorang dalam menyalurkan gagasan dan aspirasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kualitas tulisan siswa SMP Taqiyya Rosyida setelah memanfaatkan akun Youtube Dhatu Handmade sebagai media belajar. Akun ini dipilih karena menyesuaikan kebutuhan siswa, berfokus pada seni kerajinan tangan, sehingga secara tidak langsung siswa akan belajar seni budaya. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Youtube, dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan teks prosedur menjadi tulisan, sehingga siswa lebih mandiri dalam belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Pendekatan studi kasus merupakan proses peneliti mengamati pembelajaran secara komprehensif, mulai dari interaksi guru dan siswa, pemanfaatan media Youtube selama kegiatan belajar, hingga perubahan hasil tulisan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui langkah-langkah mengelompokkan data, menyajikan temuan data, dan menarik kesimpulan untuk memperoleh proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi guru Bahasa Indonesia, Indaryati, S.Pd., serta siswa kelas VII putra SMP Taqiyya Rosyida. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh kelompok 1-5 memperoleh nilai di atas KKTP, yaitu berkisar antara 80-90, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa penggunaan media Youtube memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa. Penilaian yang dilakukan meliputi struktur (judul, tujuan, alat, bahan, langkah-langkah) dan aspek kebahasaan (kalimat perintah, konjungsi temporal, kata perincian).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how Surakarta gastronomy can be utilized as a cultural context to reduce students' speaking anxiety and increase their confidence in academic presentations. The phenomenon of speaking anxiety remains a dominant issue for Indonesian Language Education students, especially when they have to demonstrate their oral skills in front of the class. This anxiety generally arises from performative pressure, fear of making mistakes, and a lack of relevant and meaningful speaking experiences. Given the importance of context in language learning, the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach is considered an effective strategy because it emphasizes authentic experiences, collaboration, and the production of concrete artifacts. This qualitative study used presentation observation, in-depth interviews, visual documentation, and performance assessment to collect data. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that using Surakarta gastronomy as a project context was able to reduce students' speaking anxiety by providing a topic that was familiar, emotionally close, and rich in cultural values. Through involvement in the culinary project, students appeared more confident, more expressive, and better able to convey ideas coherently. Learning also became more collaborative and dialogic, thus providing a safe space for students to experiment with language. These findings confirm that gastronomy-based PjBL is an innovative and relevant pedagogical alternative for teaching speaking skills in higher education.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana gastronomi Surakarta dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai konteks budaya untuk mengurangi kecemasan berbicara mahasiswa dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri mereka dalam kegiatan presentasi akademik. Fenomena kecemasan berbicara masih menjadi persoalan dominan bagi mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Indonesia, terutama ketika harus menampilkan kemampuan lisan di depan kelas. Kecemasan ini umumnya muncul akibat tekanan performatif, ketakutan melakukan kesalahan, serta minimnya pengalaman berbicara yang relevan dan bermakna. Mengingat pentingnya konteks dalam pembelajaran bahasa, pendekatan Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dipandang sebagai strategi efektif karena menekankan pengalaman autentik, kolaborasi, dan produksi artefak konkret. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan observasi kegiatan presentasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi visual, serta penilaian performansi untuk mengumpulkan data. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gastronomi Surakarta sebagai konteks proyek mampu menurunkan kecemasan berbicara mahasiswa dengan menyediakan topik yang familiar, dekat secara emosional, dan kaya nilai budaya. Melalui keterlibatan dalam proyek kuliner, mahasiswa tampak lebih percaya diri, lebih ekspresif, dan lebih mampu menyampaikan gagasan secara runtut. Pembelajaran juga menjadi lebih kolaboratif dan dialogis, sehingga memberikan ruang aman bagi mahasiswa untuk bereksperimen dengan bahasa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa PjBL berbasis gastronomi merupakan alternatif pedagogis yang inovatif dan relevan untuk pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

The abstract (in english) should concisely summarize the following: (1) brief background (if necessary); (2) aim and/or scope of the study; (3) brief description of the methodology used; (4) summary of the findings; and (5) conclusion. The abstract must be written in English in a single paragraph containing 150–250 words, without references, footnotes, or citations. Use Arial 11, single-spaced, and italicized font.  This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Mindful Learning-based BERAPI (Berani Pidato) Strategy in improving the speech writing skills of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Kroya in 2025. The research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design through a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects included all 256 eighth-grade students, with a sample of 64 students who had initial scores ranging from 60 to 70. The sample was divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, each consisting of 32 students. Data collection was conducted through a speech writing test assessed using a speech writing skill assessment rubric that had undergone validity and reliability testing. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, initial ability equivalence tests, Wilcoxon tests, Mann–Whitney tests, and effect size calculations. The results showed a significant difference between the speech writing skills of students who learned using the BERAPI Restitution Strategy based on mindful learning and students who followed conventional learning (p < 0.05). In addition, the effect size calculation showed a very strong influence (r = 0.86), so it can be concluded that the BERAPI strategy is statistically and practically effective. Thus, the application of the BERAPI Restitution Strategy based on mindful learning has been proven to improve speech writing skills while strengthening the internal motivation of eighth-grade junior high school students.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan Strategi Restitusi Berani Pidato (BERAPI) berbasis mindful learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pidato siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kroya pada tahun 2025. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan quasi experimental melalui desain nonequivalent control group. Subjek penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 256 siswa, dengan penentuan sampel sebanyak 64 siswa yang memiliki rentang nilai awal antara 60 hingga 70. Sampel tersebut dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, masing-masing berjumlah 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes menulis pidato yang dinilai menggunakan rubrik penilaian keterampilan menulis pidato yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji kesetaraan kemampuan awal, uji Wilcoxon, uji Mann–Whitney, serta perhitungan effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan menulis pidato siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan Strategi Restitusi BERAPI berbasis mindful learning dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (p < 0,05). Selain itu, hasil perhitungan effect size menunjukkan pengaruh yang sangat kuat (r = 0,86), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi BERAPI efektif secara statistik maupun praktis. Dengan demikian, penerapan Strategi Restitusi Berani Pidato (BERAPI) berbasis mindful learning terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pidato sekaligus memperkuat motivasi internal siswa kelas VIII SMP.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital culture has reshaped the pedagogical landscape of language teaching, requiring teachers to rethink their instructional practices within technology-mediated environments. This study aims to explore how secondary school language teachers adapt their pedagogical approaches to the demands of digital culture and what factors influence their adaptation processes. Using a qualitative descriptive design, data were collected from ten language teachers in Kendal Regency through open-ended questionnaires and analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that pedagogical adaptation is a multidimensional process characterized by shifts from teacher-centered to student-centered digital orientations, the development of context-responsive digital strategies, and the negotiation of sociotechnical challenges such as device inequality, unstable internet, and diminished authentic interaction in online settings. The results also show that teacher professional identity and reflective decision-making function as central mechanisms shaping the depth and direction of pedagogical adaptation. This study extends existing theoretical frameworks-including TPACK, adaptive expertise, teacher identity, and pedagogical reasoning-by demonstrating how they interact dynamically within digital language teaching contexts. Practically, the study underscores the need for professional development that emphasizes reflective digital pedagogy, institutional support for technological equity, and collaborative spaces for sharing adaptive practices. The findings highlight that effective digital language teaching emerges not merely from tool proficiency but from contextually informed instructional reasoning and identity-driven pedagogical transformation.
