Abstract

This research aims to develop a decision support system (DSS) to enchane employee productivity using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method based on Java. The system is designed to criteria such as age, attendance, performance, and targets. The research method used in the development of this system include data collection through observation and interviews with employess, followed by analysis using the SAW method. The SAW method was chosen for its ability to provide accurate and easily understandable results by summing the weights of each normalized criterion. The system implementation is carried out using Java Netbeans, known for its advantages in designing a system tha is easy to understand. The result of this research show that the system can accurately provide information related to the citeria used within the company through the specified calculations. The SAW method can consider four main criteria: age, attendance, performance, and targets, thus allowing the employee selection process at PT. XYZ Karawang to be performed with higher accuracy and precision. Additionaly, the data related to these criteria can be well summarized and neatly organized within the application database.

Abstract

This research develops a decision support system for managing tenant work orders at MidPlaza Building using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method based on Java Netbeans. This system is designed to assist building management in prioritizing and evaluating repair and maintenance requests from various tenants effectively and efficiently. By utilizing the AHP method, the system can analyze various criteria such as urgency, complexity and impact of each work order, thereby producing an objective priority ranking. Netbeans' Java-based implementation enables a user-friendly interface and ease of system maintenance. The research results show that this system can increase the efficiency of work order management, speed up response times, and increase tenant satisfaction at MidPlaza Building. This system integrates historical work order data, tenant information, and available resources to provide accurate and contextual recommendations. Key features include a real-time dashboard for monitoring work order status, an automatic notification system, and comprehensive analytical reports. The use of the AHP method allows flexibility in adjusting criteria weights in accordance with building management policies. Evaluation of system performance shows significant improvements in operational efficiency, with reduced work order completion times and increased levels of tenant satisfaction. This system also facilitates more optimal resource allocation and more effective budget management, helping building management make better decisions and be responsive to tenant needs.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a website based expert system application that can diagnose respiratory diseases in humans. This research was conducted at the Tegal Parang sub-district health center using the forward chaining method. The forward chaining method is used to monitor the process of drawing conclusions in the expert system being built. The research stages carried out included an interview process with doctors and then analyzed using the forward chaining method. The forward chaining method was chosen because of its ability to provide accurate and easy to understand results by starting from existing facts and applying rules to reach conclusions. This method is very effective in expert systems for diagnosing respiratory diseases because it allows the process of drawing logical and systematic conclusions based on the initial data provided. This application was developed using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap as programming languages, and MySQL for database management. The research results show that this application increases efficiency in data collection and reporting, makes it easier for medical personnel to manage patient data with a user-friendly interface, and manages diagnosis data in a computerized manner, thereby reducing human error and increasing efficiency. It is hoped that this research can make a significant contribution in simplifying the process of diagnosing respiratory diseases and improving the quality of health services at the Tegal Parang sub-district health center.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of organizational social support and job satisfaction on the level of work stress among police officers in Polres Mojokerto and to identify efforts that can be made to create a more supportive work environment and minimize the level of work stress. A quantitative research method was used with the population of police officers in Polres Mojokerto, and a sample of 30 individuals was selected using a simple random sampling method. The research findings indicate that organizational social support has a positive but not significant influence on police performance, while job satisfaction does not have a significant influence on performance. However, work stress has a significant negative influence on the performance of police officers. Factors such as anxiety, depression, and decreased trust in colleagues and superiors are identified as the main causes of work stress. The implications of these findings can be used to develop more effective human resource management strategies to reduce work stress and improve performance in the work environment of Polres Mojokerto.

Abstract

The research focuses on strategic management in improving public information services at the Cilegon City Communication and Information Service. The problems studied in this study are the lack of human resource capacity in mastering information materials needed by the community, the provision of public information in electronic media, namely through websites, in terms of content is not complete and well updated, the lack of community participation in utilizing the freedom to obtain information, limited Human Resources (HR) in managing public information services. The purpose of this study is to determine Strategic Management in Improving Public Information Services at the Cilegon City Communication and Information Service. The theory used as a reference in this study is the strategic management theory put forward by Wheelen and Hunger (2012:15) consisting of 4 indicators, namely environmental observation, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, evaluation and control. This study uses a qualitative method with data analysis through interview results, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that Strategic Management in Improving Public Information Services at the Cilegon City Communication and Information Office still has challenges that need to be overcome. Increasing understanding of resource capabilities, website development, and community participation requires further attention to achieve more optimal and effective public information management.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of financial behavior through financial literacy and the influence of lifestyle on Karang Taruna Cendrawasi students in Madurejo village. In this study, the population only consisted of students from Karang Taruna Cendrawasih Madurejo village and 100 students who were registered as members of Karang Taruna were used as samples taken using the random sampling method. The data used is primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed online. Classical hypothesis testing and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS V25.0 program were used for data analysis. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that: (1) the financial literacy variable has a significant positive influence on the financial behavior variable, (2) the lifestyle variable has a significant positive influence on the financial behavior variable. The variable influences the financial behavior of Karang Taruna Cendrawasih students in Madurejo village.

Abstract

Currently the tourism sector is capable of becoming the fastest growing industry supported by the development of telecommunications and information technology globally. The high interest of people visiting various tourist attractions, especially in Agam Regency, can bring benefits and advantages to the surrounding community. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of perceived attractiveness (PA), perceived value (PV) on revisit intention (R) with satisfaction (S) as a mediating variable at the Green House Lezatta tourist attraction in Koto Hilalang, Agam Regency. This study was conducted in 2018 using a questionnaire and the sample introduction technique was convenience sampling. The population and sample in this study were 150 tourist respondents who had visited the Green House Lezatta tourist attraction. Data analysis with descriptive statistics and data processing using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with the Smart PLS version 2.0 program. The results of the study found that the influence of PA on S. PV on S and Ri. S to Ri, PV to Ri through S found positive and significant results, while PA to Si and PA to Ri through S had a negative and insignificant effect. The implication of this study is that tourism object managers must pay attention to visitor safety accommodation, offer a variety of cuisines, provide more attractive spots so that tourists want to return to the Green House Lezatta tourist attraction in the future.

Abstract

With the increasing number of companies in the industrial sector in Indonesia, of course the government is increasingly aggressively implementing various regulations to control and accommodate the rights and obligations that must be given to each company. And one of the lines that must be considered is the issue of taxation, which is also an important factor for the sustainability of company activities. Because every activity carried out by the company certainly cannot be separated from the tax rules that must be met, both when purchasing goods, paying employee wages and so on. Therefore, this research aims to analyze what tax accounting is applied at PT Pou Yuen Indonesia to find out the extent of government regulations that can be implemented by companies that have various accounting activities related to taxation.

Abstract

This study discusses the management of educational financing and its impact on the quality of education. The quality of education is the main goal in educational management, and appropriate financing is a key factor in achieving it. This study used a literature study method to analyze educational financing standards, including investment, personnel, and operational costs. In addition, this study highlights the importance of transparency and accountability in fund management, as well as the role of financing as a driving force for other educational standards. The findings show that good fund management, in accordance with the principles of accountability, can increase the credibility of educational institutions and ultimately have a positive impact on the quality of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and obtain empirical evidence on the influence of leverage, profitability, and earning power on earnings management with managerial ownership as a moderating variable, based on 16 companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index from 2018 to 2022. This study employs panel data regression analysis and moderated regression analysis to examine the influence of moderating variables. Data analysis results indicate that leverage does not have a significant positive effect on earnings management. However, profitability and earnings power exhibit a significant positive impact on earnings management. Managerial ownership significantly moderates the influence of earnings power on earnings management. Managerial ownership does not significantly moderate leverage and profitability concerning earnings management. The novelty of this research lies in the addition of the independent variable, earnings power, and the use of managerial ownership as a moderating variable.
