Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that occurred in early 2020 had an impact on the learning system in universities that switched to an online learning system. This causes the learning process to experience various challenges, especially in the health sector which requires direct practice. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method for students of the Faculty of Health, Dian Nuswantoro University in online learning. The method used was quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional approach, the respondents in this study were 326 students from three study programs. The results showed that 58% of students with good learning achievement, 52% had high learning interest, and 79% obtained good learning outcomes. 59% of learning briefings from lecturers were good, and 51% of the field learning process was good. Problem-based learning (PBL) is proven to improve students' understanding of course material, encourage active participation, and help develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. However, it is problematic if there is a lack of direct interaction with lecturers and limited internet access. To improve the effectiveness of PBL in the future, it is necessary to improve technological infrastructure, intensive training for lecturers, and the development of more interactive digital learning platforms

Abstract

Digital transformation in the Indonesian civil law system is an inevitable necessity in line with the rapid development of information technology in the Society 5.0 era. One aspect that is directly affected is civil transactions, particularly in agreements and contracts that are now largely conducted electronically. This article aims to analyze the impact of the digitalization of civil transactions on legal certainty for the parties involved, as well as to evaluate the suitability of existing regulations, such as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law) and the Civil Code, in addressing this dynamic. By using a normative juridical approach and comparative analysis of legal practices in several countries, this article finds that although Indonesian regulations have begun to recognize the validity of electronic transactions, significant challenges still arise in the aspects of proof, authentication, and legal protection of digital transactions. Therefore, a more comprehensive and integrative reform of civil law is needed to ensure the principle of legal certainty in the digital realm. This update must include the establishment of clear technical guidelines, as well as the strengthening of regulations that support the implementation of safe and legally valid digital transactions, in order to keep up with technological developments and protect the rights of parties in electronic transactions

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of digital competence, learning communities, and supervision on teacher performance which impacts work performance in elementary schools (SD) in Pangkalpinang City. The research uses an explanatory approach to explain causal relationships between variables. The model applied is hypothesis testing based on theories developed by the researcher. Primary data was collected through questionnaires distributed to elementary school teachers in SD Negeri 3, 6, 10, and 28 Pangkalpinang. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 software. The research findings indicate that digital competence, learning communities, and supervision significantly influence teacher performance. Furthermore, these three variables also have a positive and significant impact on work performance. The study also reveals that digital competence, learning communities, and supervision not only directly affect work performance but also indirectly through improvements in teacher performance. Therefore, enhancing digital competence, strengthening learning communities, and implementing effective supervision can significantly improve teacher performance, ultimately leading to better overall work performance in elementary schools

Abstract

Trip attraction refers to the number of trip movements toward a specific location per unit of time. This concept is directly related to determining the total trips generated by particular land uses. The establishment of Suzuya Mall by the government has significantly increased private and public vehicle traffic in Bireuen City, leading to frequent road congestion. During peak movement periods, vehicles often stop or park along the road near Suzuya Mall, reducing overall road capacity. This study examines three key aspects: the characteristics of visitors to Suzuya Mall, the factors influencing trip attraction in this land use area, and the development of a trip attraction model for Suzuya Mall in Bireuen City. The research methodology incorporated questionnaire data collection and SPSS-based data processing. Analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression through SPSS 25 software, with model validation assessed through multicollinearity values, correlation coefficients (R), determination coefficients (R²), heteroscedasticity tests, significance values, and P-P plot graphs. The study yielded a comprehensive trip attraction model for all vehicle types: Y = 61.157 + 0.123(X₁) + 2.75(X₂) - 0.716(X₃) + 0.195(X₅), where X₁ represents age, X₂ denotes income, X₃ indicates distance, and X₅ reflects mileage. The model achieved a determination coefficient value of 0.964, demonstrating strong explanatory power for trip attraction patterns in the Suzuya Mall area.

Abstract

Roads are a transportation facility that is used by most people. If the road is damaged, it will disturb road users and make them feel uncomfortable when driving. This research method uses the Bina Marga method which determines the average daily traffic and axle load of vehicles that affect road damage on the uphill and downhill sections of the Simpang Ampeik-Sasak road section, West Pasaman Regency, comparing the average daily traffic figures with the determination of the figures according to the class and function of the road. Based on the calculation of the average daily traffic on the uphill and downhill sections, the values exceed the average daily traffic determination in passenger car units, which are worth 2,127 LHR in SMP on the uphill and 2,102 LHR in SMP on the downhill. Regarding the axle load obtained on the road section, vehicles are classified as 6a and 6b, indicating that the road exceeds the truck factor figure, namely 3,583 where the magnitude is 1. The Simpang Ampeik - Sasak road section in West Pasaman Regency experienced an overload, where the type of damage on the ascent and descent is corrugated.
