Abstract

Environmental awareness among humans regarding the importance of preserving nature—bestowed by Allah as a means to sustain life—is gradually declining. Irresponsible human actions frequently lead to environmental damage and ecological imbalance. If left unaddressed, such behavior poses serious threats to the continuity of life. This study aims to explore the Prophet Muhammad’s hadiths that emphasize the importance of environmental preservation. Employing a qualitative method with a literature review approach, this research analyzes relevant hadiths and scholarly interpretations. The findings reveal that the Prophet’s teachings on ecological preservation are comprehensive and highly relevant to contemporary environmental challenges. Most environmental degradation is a direct result of human actions, and the prophetic hadiths offer foundational solutions—framing what can be understood as an early model of ecological education in Islam. Abstract

This article discusses the importance of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) from the perspective of the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. PAUD does not only focus on cognitive aspects, but also on moral education, aqidah, and worship. Through the habituation of Islamic values, good examples from parents, and positive communication, holistic education can be achieved. The type of research used in this study is library research with a qualitative approach. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from various sources such as journals, books, official reports, and other credible and relevant documents. By integrating formal and informal education approaches, it is hoped that future generations can grow into individuals with noble morals and faith. The conclusion of this article emphasizes that the role of parents as primary educators is very important in shaping children's character in accordance with Islamic teachings. One way to create the instillation of religious and moral values from an early age is to provide learning in the form of hadiths given to early childhood through a learning method in early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to prove whether using Choral Reading strategy can improve reading comprehension of the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Palu. This research limited the use of Choral Reading strategy in improving students’ reading comprehension, which focuses on literal meaning and descriptive text. This research used quasi-experimental research design involving an Experimental class and a control class. The sample of this research were students of VII B as the experimental class, which consisted of 31 students, and the students of VIII A as the control class, which consisted of 31 students. The data was collected through pre-test and post-test. The result confirmed that the mean score of the experimental class had increased from 44.87 to 73.83. On the other hand, in the control class, it has increased from 48.29 to 62.64. The result of the test was analyzed statistically by applying 0.05 level significance. The researcher found that the value of the t-counted was higher than the t-table (4.59 > 1.67). In the other words, the implementation of choral reading strategy can develop students’ reading comprehension of the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Palu. This strategy has a significant impact on the English learning process, especially helping students in reading comprehension to find information about the text and understand the entire meaning of the text, so that students can practice choral reading as their independent reading comprehension strategy in the future

Abstract

One of the serious considerations in Islam pertains to the position of men and women. Islam highly values the worth of women. Gender equality is an essential topic to ensure that individuals, regardless of their gender, have equal opportunities, rights, and responsibilities in all aspects of life, while eliminating discrimination, violence, and harassment against women. Therefore, further discourse is necessary to rectify misconceptions. This research aims to explore the positions of both genders. It emphasizes that men and women share the same human status, having been created from the same substance, as ordained by God. The study employs qualitative research, specifically a literature review using relevant journals, books, and articles related to this topic.

Abstract

This article critically examines the thoughts of Thomas Kuhn and Ibn Rushd in order to understand the epistemological structure and dynamics of science, by highlighting two fundamental concepts: paradigm and rationality. Thomas Kuhn, through his theory of scientific revolutions , argued that the development of science does not occur linearly and cumulatively, but rather through paradigm leaps triggered by internal crises in the scientific community and resolved through collective consensus. On the other hand, Ibn Rushd, as a representative of rationalist philosophers in the classical Islamic thought treasury, places reason and logic as universal epistemic foundations in revealing scientific truth, and firmly rejects the dominance of theological authority that hinders freedom of thought. This study reveals that although both come from different traditions and historical contexts, there is a common ground in the critical attitude towards intellectual stagnation and the drive to open up space for renewal of thought. However, epistemologically, both show sharp divergences: Kuhn is based on contextual paradigmatic relativism, while Ibn Rushd is rooted in transhistorical rational objectivism. Using a comparative-philosophical approach, this article concludes that a critical synthesis of the two views can enrich contemporary discourse on the foundations and direction of the development of science.
