Abstract

This article explains the Aplikasi Manajemen Surat Menyurat that can be used in digital archive management. The method used is qualitative. Data collection was carried out using documentation and observation techniques. The collected data were then analyzed using inductive analysis. The results of the research show that the use of the Aplikasi Manajemen Surat Menyurat can be used to manage archives digitally. Because this application is specifically for managing correspondence, the digital archives in question are prioritized for archives in the form of letters. To make good use of it, it is necessary to prepare first, such as the installation, configuration, making letter classification numbers, and digitizing letter archives. This application, especially the demo version, can be used to manage incoming and outgoing mail archives in digital form. Keywords: digital archive, correspondence, AMS Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pemanfaatan Aplikasi Manajemen Surat Menyurat yang dapat digunakan dalam pengelolaan arsip digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan Teknik dokumentasi dan observasi. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan Analisa induktif. Hasil Analisa menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Aplikasi Manajemen Surat Menyurat dapat digunakan untuk mengelola arsip secara digital. Dikarenakan aplikasi ini dikhususkan untuk proses tata kelola persuratan, maka arsip digital yang dimaksud diutamakan arsip berbentuk surat. Agar dapat dimanfaatkan dengan baik, maka terlebih dahulu perlu dilakukan persiapan, seperti proses instalasi, konfigurasi, pembuatan nomor klasifikasi surat, dan digitalisasi arsip surat. Aplikasi ini, terutama versi demo, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengelola arsip surat masuk dan surat keluar dalam bentuk digital. KataKunci:arsip digital, sura-menyurat, AMS

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are idealized as institutions that can effectively provide answers to these developments. The history of pesantren has gone through various social, cultural, and economic challenges in a cosmopolitan society. One of the elements that are the central control of the pesantren is the leadership of the kiai. Kyai leadership is a topic that has received a lot of attention from pesantren researchers because it is one of the factors that determine development. The existence of the kiai not only leads, and motivates but also compiles, manages, and develops the entrepreneurship curriculum. Entrepreneurial leadership is seen as a strong factor in improving the performance of administrators. Visionary leadership is believed to be an important part of the growth and improvement of pesantren performance in the field of economic development. Entrepreneurial leadership knows how to put ideas into action through effective management, and clear strategy. This research focuses on the strategies applied by the kiai and the independence of santri entrepreneurship. The location of this research was carried out at the Jember Nurul Qarnain Islamic Boarding School and Al-Ittifaq Bandung Islamic Boarding School with a qualitative approach with a multi-case design and data analysis used was Miles and Huberman data analysis. The results of this study are in developing santripreneurs by implementing integrated education. Nurul Qarnain Islamic Boarding School and Al-Ittihad Islamic Boarding School combine knowledge and economic endeavors. The integrated education strategy includes increasing the academic skills of teaching staff, bringing in experts in the field of agribusiness, establishing partnerships with other institutions, and managing agribusiness funding. Educational methods include mastery of religious sciences, religious practices, and internships in Islamic boarding schools' independent economic businesses. Pesantren diidealkan sebagai institusi yang secara efektif memberikan jawaban atas perkembangan tersebut. Historia pesantren telah melewati berbagai tantangan sosial, budaya dan ekonomi masyarakat yang kosmopolitan. Salah satu unsur yang menjadi pusat pengendali pesantren adalah kepemimpinan kiai. Kepemimpinan kiai merupakan topik yang mendapat banyak perhatian pengkaji pesantren, karena merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan pengembangan. Keberadaan kiai tidak hanya memimpin, memotivasi, tetapi juga menyusun, mengelola dan mengembangkan kurikulum enterpreneurship. Kepemimpinan entrepreneurship dipandang sebagai faktor yang kuat meningkatkan kinerja pengurus. Kepemimpinan visioner diyakini sebagai bagian penting dalam pertumbuhan dan peningkatan kinerja pesantren dalam bidang pengembangan ekonomi. Kepemimpinan entrepreneurship mengetahui bagaimana mewujudkan ide melalui manajemen yang efektif, strategi yang jelas. Penelitian ini fokus kepada strategi yang diterapkan oleh kiai dan kemandirian entrepreneurship santri. Lokasi penelitian ini yakni dilakukan di Pesantren Nurul Qarnain Jember dan Pesantren Al-Ittifaq Bandung dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain multikasus dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data Miles and Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dalam mengembangkan santripreneur dengan menerapkan pendidikan terpadu. Pesantren Nurul Qarnain dan Pesantren Al-Ittihad memadukan antara ilmu dan usaha ekonomi. Strategi pendidikan terpadu meliputi peningkatan kecakapan akademis tenaga pengajar, mendatangkan pakar dalam bidang agribisnis, menjalin kerjasama dengan lembaga lain, dan pengelolaan pendanaan agribisnis. Metode pendidikan meliputi penguasaan ilmu-ilmu agama, praktik keberagamaan dan magang usaha ekonomi mandiri milik pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Madrasah Self-Evaluation at MI Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Manar Klaten in Education Quality Assurance. The decline in the quality of education in Indonesia reinforces the need for seriousness in implementing EDM at every level, especially in basic education. The approach used in this study is a qualitative-descriptive approach. Researchers deepen the various phenomena that exist in the field and describe them in the form of words and sentences. The methods used by researchers in collecting data are direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. Researchers used Miles and Huberman's model in conducting data analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and data conclusions/verification. In the instrument development stage using instruments from the Government with reference to the eight SNPs. At the data collection stage using instruments filled out by the head of the madrasa, eight teachers, fifteen students, three madrasah committees by providing assistance and verifying data entry. At the data analysis stage using the EDM application and determine the problem. All stakeholders analyze the root/cause of the problem. At the recommendation stage, stakeholders determine the priority of problems from the most urgent things for improvement. The results showed a significant effect. The constraints experienced were a lack of funds and a lack of role from the government in terms of financial assistance

Abstract

Student management is an arrangement of all student activities related to the initial entry so that students leave. Student activities are an important part of an educational institution. Student management and religious character have a relationship, namely religious character must be instilled early on to students in the process the formation of the religious character of students will not take place by itself, but the process is influenced by the school environment. The focus of the problems examined in this thesis are: 1) How is the Planning of Student Admission in the Formation of Religious Character at SMP Islam Nurul Khalil Bataan Tenggarang Bondowoso? 2) How is the Development of Students in the Formation of Religious Character at SMP Islam Nurul Khalil Bataan Tenggarang Bondowoso? The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using three methods namely, observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation and method triangulation. Sources of research data include school principals, curriculum deputy heads, teachers and students. The results of this study are: (1) describing the planning of student admissions in the formation of religious character at Nurul Khalil Islamic Middle School, namely in planning students in forming religious character at Nurul Islamic Middle School Khalil covers three things, namely: 1) Establishing 8 Student Character standards 2) Forming Religious Character 3) Providing Supporting Facilities, and forming a committee for accepting new students, disseminating information on new student admissions and selecting prospective students. (2) describing the development of students in the formation of religious character at Nurul Khalil Islamic Middle School, namely by getting used to activities that already exist in junior high schools such as requiring students to take part in recitation activities every morning, praying in congregation and the school principal enforcing 5S (Greetings, Smiles, Greetings, Polite , polite) so that students can appreciate and respect each other. Manajemen peserta didik merupakan suatu penataan segala aktifitas siswa yang berkaitan dengan awal masuk sehingga keluarnya peseta didik.Kegiatan peserta didik merupakan bagian penting dari suatu lembaga pendidikan.Manajemen peserta didik dan karakter religius memiliki hubungan yaitu karakter religius harus ditanamkan sejak dini kepada peserta didik dalam proses pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik tidak akan berlangsung dengan sendirinya, akan tetapi proses tersebut dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan sekolah. Fokus masalah yang diteliti dalam skripsi ini adalah: 1) Bagaimana Perencanaan Penerimaan peserta didik dalam Pembentukan Karakter religius di SMP Islam Nurul Khalil Bataan Tenggarang Bondowoso? 2) Bagaimana Pembinaan Peserta Didik dalam Pembentukan Karakter Religius di SMP Islam Nurul Khalil Bataan Tenggarang Bondowoso?  Adapun pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga metode yakni, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Sumber data penelitian diantaranya adalah kepala sekolah, waka kurikulum, guru dan Peserta didik Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) mendeskripsikan perencanaan penerimaan peserta didik dalam pembentukan karakter religius di SMP Islam Nurul Khalil yaitu Dalam perencanaan Peserta didik dalam pembentukan karakter religius di SMP Islam Nurul Khalil mencakup tiga hal yaitu: 1) Menetapkan 8 standart Karakter Siswa 2) Membentuk Karakter Religius 3) Menyediakan fasilitas Pendukung, danmembentuk panitia penerimaan peserta didik baru, menyebarkan inormasi penerimaan peserta didik baru dan menyeleksi calon peserta didik. (2) mendeskripsikan pembinaan peserta didik dalam pembentukan karakter religius di SMP Islam Nurul Khalil yaitu dengan membiasakan kegiatan yang sudah ada di SMP seperti mewajibkan siswa untuk mengikuti kegiatan mengaji disetiap pagi, sholat berjamaah dan kepala sekolah memberlakukan 5S (Salam, Senyum, Sapa, Sopan, Santun) agar peserta didik dapat menghargai dan menghormati sesama.

Abstract

The success of institutions in improving institutional quality is a major effort for leaders in carrying out their rle as leaders who, with their managerial capabilities, seek to acheve institutional quality improvement. The focus of this research is the implementation of institutre leadership in improving the institutional quality of the Jember State Islamic Institute (IAIN) through Ma’had Al-ami’ah. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques are carried out by: interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the research include Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Jember. Which is one of the institutional units of IAIN Jember, which already has an organizational structure, students, learing curriculum, infrastructure, and finance. Second, the chancellor together with the leaders of the institure implement their leadership in improving instituonal quality. Third, the implementation of institutional quality improvement is reflected in the design of the Ma’had Al-Jamiah curriculum and strives to meet infrastructure needs.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the dynamics of the Ministry of Religious Affairs' policies in selecting and appointing State Islamic Higher Education (PTKIN) Rectors. This study used a qualitative approach. In addition to the Minister of Religious Affairs Regulation, data were collected from online sources. All data were grouped thematically, and a comparative analysis was carried out to discover the dynamics of the policy mechanism for the selection and appointment of the Rector/Chairperson of PTKIN. This study concludes that there are changes to the requirements for educational qualifications and available academic positions for Rector' UIN Rector candidates who were originally doctors and Associate Professors to become doctors and Professors. The PTKIN Senate no longer selects the top three candidates but only gives qualitative considerations. A Selection Commission formed by the Minister of Religious Affairs processes the selection process. The change in PMA from PMA 45/2006 to PMA 68/2015 does not change the position of the Minister of Religious Affairs as the party with full authority to appoint the Rector/Chairperson of PTKIN. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dinamika kebijakan Kementerian Agama dalam mekanisme seleksi dan pengangkatan Rektor/Ketua PTKIN. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Selain Peraturan Menteri Agama, data-data dikumpulan dari sumber online. Semua data dikelompokkan secara tematik dan dilakukan analisis komparatif untuk menemukan dinamika kebijakan mekanisme seleksi dan pengangkatan Rektor/Ketua PTKIN. Studi ini mengungkap bahwa terdapat perubahan syarat kualifikasi pendidikan dan jabatan fungsional akademik calon Rektor UIN yang semula doktor dan Lektor Kepala menjadi doktor dan Guru Besar. Senat PTKIN tidak lagi menyeleksi dan memilih tiga besar calon, melaikan sebatas pemberi pertimbangan kualitatif. Proses seleksi dilakukan oleh Komisi Seleksi yang dibentuk oleh Menteri Agama. Perubahan PMA dari PMA 45/2006 hingga PMA 68/2015 tidak mengubah posisi Menteri Agama sebagai pihak yang berwenang penuh untuk mengangkat Rektor/Ketua PTKIN. Abstract

This research is motivated by the rampant moral degradation that often occurs today. Moral problems can be said to be very natural to accompany human life. This happens due to their lack of understanding of the values ​​contained in Pancasila so that not a few of them commit deviant acts such as brawls, bullying, promiscuity, violating school rules, being brave towards teachers, and so on. The aims of this research are: 1 ) To describe how the principal's strategy in realizing the profile of Pancasila students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Miftahul Ulum Sukodono Lumajang. 2) To describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the madrasa principal's strategy in realizing the profile of Pancasila students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Miftahul Ulum Sukodono Lumajang. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a case study type. The results of this study are 1) the strategy of the madrasa head in realizing the Pancasila student profile by conducting environmental observations, formulating strategies, implementing strategies, and evaluating. In addition, Pancasila values ​​have also been implemented in madrasas such as carrying out the habit of praying midday prayers in congregation, reading juz ammah, reading istighotsah, reading rotibul hadad, reading Yasin letters, and reading asmaul husna before learning begins, carrying out flag ceremonies every Monday and respecting each other. fellow friends, community service at school, aware of their independent obligations as students by working on their exam questions, active in organizational activities, and able to think creatively in learning by making infographics in class. 2) supporting factors include good cooperation between madrasa heads and teaching staff, adequate infrastructure, and full participation of madrasa residents. While the inhibiting factors are family background and environmental influences outside the madrasah.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the effect of Performance Assessment and Compensation on the Professionalism of Elementary School teachers in the Galis Bangkalan District. This is based on the researcher's anxiety about whether teacher professionalism is affected by pragmatic things such as; performance appraisal and compensation go beyond their oath as educators. The method used is a quantitative method with multiple regression types. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis with the help of SPSS for windows version 22. The results of the analysis show that 1) Performance Assessment has a positive and significant effect on Teacher Professionalism, 2) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Teacher Teacher Professionalism, and 3) Performance Assessment and compensation has a positive and significant effect on the Professionalism of Elementary School teachers in the Galis District with an F count of 32.086 with a p-value of 0.000 less than 0.05. This means that the increase in performance appraisal and teacher compensation will simultaneously affect the increase in teacher professionalism

Abstract

Public relations is one of the management functions that has a dominant role in the successful management of educational organizations, especially private Islamic Religious Universities which carry out the tasks of education, research and community service as stated in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The focus of the discussion in the research is on the management of implementing the public relations function within the Syarifuddin Islamic Institute, Lumajang with schools/madrasahs, government and private agencies, as well as alumni in increasing the number of new students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study type of research at the Syarifuddin Lumajang Islamic Institute. Data sources using observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis is done by induction and interpretation in research. The aim of this research is to describe the function of public relations from the planning, organizing, implementation to evaluation of the public relations function implemented by the Syarifuddin Lumajang Islamic Institute with schools/madrasahs, government and private agencies and alumni in increasing the number of new students. The results of this research show that the implementation of the function of community relations with schools/madrasahs, government and private agencies as well as relations with alumni has had an impact on increasing the number of new students at the Syarifuddin Lumajang Islamic Institute.   Keywords: public relations function management, increase in the number of new students.   Hubungan masyarakat merupakan salah satu fungsi manajemen yang memiliki peran dominan pada keberhasilan pengelolaan organisasi pedidikan, khususnya Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Swasta yang mengemban tugas pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagaimana tertuang dalam Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Fokus pembahasan dalam penelitian pada manajemen penerapan fungsi hubungan masyarakat di lingkungan Institut Agama Islam Syarifuddin, Lumajang dengan sekolah/madrasah, instansi pemerintah dan swasta, serta alumni dalam meningkatkan jumlah mahasiswa baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus di Institut Agama Islam Syarifuddin Lumajang. Sumber Data yang menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Sementara analisa datanya dengan induksi, dan interpretasi di dalam penelitian. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi hubungan masyarakat baik dari proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasi dari fungsi hubungan masyarakat diterapkan oleh Institut Agama Islam Syarifuddin Lumajang dengan sekolah/madrasah, instansi pemerintah dan swasta dan alumni dalam meningkatkan jumlah mahasiswa baru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan fungsi hubungan masyarakat dengan sekolah/madrasah, instansi pemerintah dan swasta serta hubungan dengan alumni berdampak pada peningkatan jumlah mahasiswa baru di Institut Agama Islam Syarifuddin Lumajang.   Kata Kunci: manajemen fungsi hubungan masyarakat, meningkatan jumlah mahasiswa baru.

Abstract

This article discusses the planning and decision -making of kiai dakam new student admission contest covering a study on decision -making models, decision -making processes and determining the purpose of decision making. Job satisfaction and increased creativity, personal development and acceptance of change depend on decision -making by an organization. A good manager or leader is a manager and leader who is based on the exchange of ideas and cooperation rather than based on authority and arrogance in his position. This research is a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Using data collection methods: observation, interviews and documentation. This is done by the kiai in the pesantren to give a decision based on an exchange of opinions and then taken the most positive impact and then delegated to his subordinates to work together to develop the organization. The kiai policy-making process is done in consultation and the pesantren work team is given the authority to carry out their respective duties. So that the recruitment process of new students runs smoothly and increasing every year
