Abstract

Pembelajaran struktur aljabar merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan matematika yang memerlukan pendekatan didaktis yang efektif. Artikel ini membahas peran Hubungan Pedagogik (HP), Hubungan Didaktis (HD), dan Antisipasi Didaktis Pedagogis (ADP) dalam menciptakan pemahaman yang bermakna bagi siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan konten analisis. Temuan menjelaskan dengan menekankan interaksi yang dinamis antara guru, siswa, dan materi, proses pembelajaran dapat dioptimalkan untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar yang sering dihadapi siswa. Melalui contoh konkret, seperti penggunaan himpunan dengan operasi penjumlahan modulo, siswa dapat melihat relevansi materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, yang meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan mereka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan ketiga elemen ini dalam desain didaktis dapat menciptakan situasi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, sehingga siswa dapat memahami konsep-konsep aljabar dengan lebih baik dan mendalam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep dasar grup skilik (cyclic group) serta penerapannya dalam berbagai bidang. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan analisis konten terhadap berbagai literatur terkait. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa grup skilik adalah grup yang dapat dibangkitkan oleh satu elemen, di mana setiap elemen dalam grup diperoleh melalui operasi berulang pada elemen pembangkit. Contohnya, dalam grup bilangan bulat modulo nnn, elemen 111 dapat membangkitkan seluruh elemen dalam grup melalui penjumlahan modulo nnn. Grup skilik memiliki peran penting dalam matematika murni dan terapan, seperti dalam kriptografi, teori kode, dan fisika, yang banyak memanfaatkan struktur ini dalam pemodelan sistem yang memiliki simetri teratur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis akidah Muhammadiyah. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menganalisis paham keagamaan Muhammadiyah tentang hal-hal terkait akidah, silsilah tauhid, dan aliran teologinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library research). Analisis dilakukan melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk menggali pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang pemahaman akidah, teologi, dan silsilah tauhid sebagai pilihan paham keagamaan Muhammadiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akidah Muhammadiyah tidak mengikuti satu aliran akidah Islam dari berbagai aliran kalam (teologi). Muhammadiyah mengikuti langsung dari Al-Qur’an dan Hadis dalam hal akidah, fikih dan tasawuf. Muhammadiyah melakukan tarjih dan ijtihad sebagai usaha untuk menjadi bagian golongan Ahlu as-Sunnah wa al-Jamaah.

Abstract

Political dynasties refer to conditions in which leaders seek to place their family members, relatives, and close relatives in important positions with the aim of establishing a political power within the government structure, both at the national and regional levels. In which, Jokowi's political dynasty has become a quite popular discussion that has developed to date due to the involvement of several members of his family who have direct family ties or relationships with Jokowi. The purpose of this study is to find out how the perception of students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Studies of UIN Sumatera Utara towards Jokowi's political dynasty and what factors caused the emergence of Jokowi's political dynasty according to the student. This research is a qualitative research that is descriptive with an approach that includes political, historical, and phenomenological aspects. The data collection techniques used in this study are interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that there are two perceptions produced by students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Studies towards Jokowi's political dynasty, namely a positive perception that acknowledges the existence of Jokowi's political dynasty and a negative perception that rejects the involvement of the Jokowi family in the political realm as a practice of political dynasties. The factors for the emergence of Jokowi's political dynasty are divided into internal factors and external factors. These internal factors include Jokowi's popularity and ambition. Meanwhile, the external factors are a paternalistic culture, support from political parties, media influence, and lastly, the lack of strict regulations that talk about and limit the practice of political dynasties.

Abstract

This research focuses on the concept of equality rights in the perspective of human rights as reflected in the Qur'an. The essence of this research is to examine the importance of the principle of equality in building a plural and civilized social life. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, which relies on analyzing Qur'anic verses related to the issue of equality and human dignity. The results show that Islam, as reflected in the Qur'an, does not differentiate between men and women in terms of human rights. Both sexes are positioned equally as servants of God who have the same honor, responsibilities, and rights in spiritual, social, and moral dimensions. This finding confirms that the Qur'an upholds the principles of justice and equality as the main foundation in respecting human rights.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mastery of Arabic vocabulary of 8th grade students of MTs Nurul Islam Indonesia Medan through the application of Tahsin method. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) Kurt Lewin model which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles. The instruments used included initial test, post-test, observation sheet, and documentation. The results showed an increase in students' vocabulary skills from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the average score obtained by students was 35 with a percentage of completeness of 78%, while in cycle II it increased to an average score of 40 with a percentage of completeness of 89%, which is in the “Good” category. This improvement was achieved through various efforts such as the preparation of visual media-based lesson plans, the use of relevant thematic images, vocabulary pronunciation exercises through the Tahsin method, and strengthening student involvement in active learning. The findings prove that the Tahsin method is effective in improving students' Arabic vocabulary and can be an applicable learning strategy in the madrasah context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the principal's communication management in improving teacher professionalism at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Madinatul 'Ulum, Medan Labuhan District. The method used is a case study with primary data collection through in-depth interviews with principals and teachers, as well as secondary data from literature in the form of scientific journal articles, theses, theses, and dissertations. Data analysis was carried out with an analytical descriptive approach through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that effective and transparent principal communication, the use of easy-to-understand language, and openness to teacher input significantly contributed to building a harmonious work climate and supporting teacher professionalism. In addition, clear assignments and appreciation of teacher performance also increase the motivation and productivity of educators. However, there are also challenges in the form of miscommunication and inconsistent meeting schedules, which become evaluation materials for future improvements. Thus, good communication management from the principal is a key factor in encouraging the improvement of the quality and professionalism of teachers in madrasah.

Abstract

This study explores the legal implications of apostasy (murtad) on inheritance rights from both the perspective of Islamic law, as codified in the Compilation of Islamic Law (Kompilasi Hukum Islam/KHI), and conventional law, as governed by the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata). Using a normative juridical approach through a library-based study, this research analyzes primary and secondary legal sources to examine the extent to which apostasy influences inheritance entitlement. The findings indicate a fundamental divergence between the two legal systems. Under KHI, apostasy constitutes a legal impediment to inheritance due to the religious incompatibility between the heir and the decedent, aligning with the classical fiqh view that prohibits inheritance across religious boundaries. In contrast, the Civil Code does not consider religious affiliation as a determinant in succession law; it upholds kinship as the primary basis of inheritance, thereby allowing apostates to inherit from or bequeath to their family members regardless of religious status. This legal disparity reflects a broader tension between the theological objectives of Islamic family law and the secular, pluralistic orientation of Indonesian civil law. The study underscores the need for legal harmonization or at least clearer jurisprudential guidance to resolve conflicts arising in multi-religious familial contexts.

Abstract

This paper describes the condition of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Washliyah library which is not suitable as a literacy facility. The library room is used as a temporary warehouse, the lack of facilities such as bookshelves, tables, chairs and fans, and the limited reading collection are the main obstacles in supporting literacy activities at school. This study used a qualitative method with direct observation techniques and interviews with principals, teachers and students as primary data sources and documentation as secondary data. Despite the limited conditions, the school still tries to empower the library through outdoor literacy activities and makeshift book-based learning. Collaboration between teachers and students is an important strategy in maintaining the library's function as a learning resource. This finding shows a high spirit of literacy in the midst of limited facilities. Therefore, government attention is needed to improve the quality and function of madrasah libraries. A proper library will encourage increased interest in reading and learning quality. This study recommends policy interventions in developing madrasah libraries as literacy centers for Islamic education.

Abstract

This study examines the implications of teaching Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on student character building at Amalia Islamic Foundation Medan using a qualitative approach with field studies and interviews with teachers and students as primary data, and literature review as secondary data. The results showed that PAI teachers not only delivered material, but also provided personal advice and guidance that was effective in instilling Islamic values. Teachers act as models and motivators in shaping students' Islamic behavior, which is reflected in daily life. Students experience applicable character learning, not just theory, so that they are able to apply religious values in various situations. Motivation and spiritual reinforcement given consistently also help increase students' faith and piety. This study confirms that PAI teaching has a strategic role in building the character of Islamic people through a personalized and contextual approach.
