Hasil penelitian Ilmu-ilmu Sosial yang berkontribusi terhadap Pendidikan IPS: Seluruh hasil riset ilmu-ilmu sosial yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan konten pada Pendidikan IPS, dan diharuskan terdapat penjelasan di dalam naskah, apa manfaat temuan penelitian tersebut bagi pendidikan IPS.

Abstract

Eko Sudarminto dan KodiranABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk; (1) mendeskripsikan upaya pelestarianbudaya Ajeg Bali oleh masyarakat transmigran Nusa Penida Bali di DesaBalinuraga Kecamatan Way Panji Kabupaten Lampung Selatan tahun 2012-2018; (2) menjelaskan faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam upayapelestarian budaya Ajeg Bali oleh masyarakat transmigran Nusa PenidaBali di Desa Balinuraga Kecamatan Way Panji Kabupaten LampungSelatan tahun 2012-2018; (3) menjelaskan nilai-nilai yang dapat di ambildari budaya Ajeg Bali masyarakat transmigran Nusa Penida Bali di DesaBalinuraga Kecamatan Way Panji Kabupaten Lampung Selatan sebagailiterasi pembelajaran IPS di sekolah. Abstract

WinarniABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pembelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Dasar,pembelajaran yang menggunakan metode yang tepat dapat membangkitkanminat dan motivasi siswa untuk belajar, sehingga anggapan matematikaadalah pelajaran yang sulit dapat terhapuskan selanjutnya hasil belajarsiswa pun akan meningkat. Didasari pada latar belakang diatas, penulisberusaha menerapkan penggunaan metode dalam kegiatan belajar mengajaryaitu dengan menggunakan media kartu bilangan. Adapun tujuan daripenelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil belajar muatanterpadu matematika siswa tentang pengurangan bilangan bulat di kelas ISDN Popongan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran matematika denganpenggunaan media kartu bilangan dan meningkatkan kemampuan gurudalam mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran matematika denganpenggunaan media kartu bilangan yang berorientasi pada upayameningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitianini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam duasiklus, satu siklus terdiri atas perencanaan pembelajaran, prosespelaksanaan pembelajaran, kegiatan observasi dan refleksi. Penelitimengambil subjek penelitian siswa kelas I SDN Popongan KecamatanBanyuurip Kab. Purworejo dengan jumlah siswa 23 orang. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematikadengan menggunakan model pembelajaran matematika dengan penggunaanmedia kartu bilangan mengalami peningkatan tiap siklusnya. Rekapitulasihasil pembelajaran siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 58,46 dan siklus II dengannilai rata-rata 66,92. Maka hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaanmodel pembelajaran matematika dengan penggunaan media kartu bilangandapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika.Untuk kedepannya diperlukan penelitian yang lebih dalam pada materipelajaran matematika yang lain.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Bilangan Bulat, Kartu BilanganThis research is based on Mathematics learning at elementary school.Learning using appropriate method may stimulate students’ learninginterest and motivation; hence, opinion assuming that mathematics as adifficult subject can be eliminated, so learning achievement can improve.Based on the background, the writer attempts to apply the method inteaching learning activity, i.e. through the use of number card media. Thisresearch aims to identify how is students’ mathematics integrated learningachievement on integer subtraction at class I of SDN Popongan (PoponganState Elementary School) after mathematics learning using number cardmedia and to improve teacher’s competence in implementing mathematicslearning model using number card media, in order to increase students’learning achievement. Method adopted was Classroom Action Researchwith two cycles, i.e. each cycle consisting of learning plan, implementation,observation, and reflection. Subjects involved 23 class I students at SDN Winarni adalah Guru SDN Popongan Kecamatan Banyuurip Kab. Result show thatstudents’ mathematics learning achievement using number card media hasimproved in each cycle. Recapitulation of learning achievement indicatedaverage score of 58.46 and 66.92 at cycles I and II, respectively. Therefore,the result of this research showed that mathematics learning using numbercard media has been able to improve students’ mathematics learningachievement. Abstract

SumamiABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan antusiasme mengikuti layananbimbingan klasikal dan untuk meningkatkan hasil layanan bimbinganklasikal dengan teknik cinematherapy pada siswa SMP Negeri 4 Sentolo.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 4 Sentolo. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek dalampenelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A dengan jumlah 24 siswa. Data yangdiperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah data tentang antusiasme pesertadidik mengikuti layanan bimbingan klasikal yang diperoleh melaluiobservasi dan data tentang hasil layanan yang diperoleh melalui tes evaluasihasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1). meningkatnya antusiasmemengikuti layanan bimbingan klasikal 2) meningkatnya hasil layanansecara individu. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Teknikcinematherapy dapat meningkatkan antusiasme mengikuti layananbimbingan klasikal dan dapat meningkatkan hasil layanan bimbinganklasikal pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 4 Sentolo.Kata kunci : Antusiasme, Bimbingan Klasikal, CinematherapyThis study aims to increase the enthusiasm of classical guidance servicesand to improve the results of classical guidance services withcinematherapy techniques for students of 4 Sentolo Junior High School.This research was conducted at 4 Sentolo Junior High School. This studyuses a Classroom Action Research approach. The subjects in this studywere eight A grade students with a total of 24 students. The data needed inthis study is data about the enthusiasm of students to follow classicalguidance services obtained through observation and data about serviceresults obtained through evaluation tests of results. The results showed that1). increasing enthusiasm for classical guidance services 2) increasingindividual service outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that thecinematherapy technique can increase enthusiasm for participating inclassical guidance services and can improve the results of classicalguidance services for eight A grade students of 4 Sentolo Junior HighSchool.Keywords: Enthusiasm, Classical Guidance, Cinematherapy

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Social Studies Learning, Parenting Style, and Gender on the Social Sensitivity of eighth-grade students at public junior high schools in the central area of Sleman Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 358 students (175 male and 183 female), selected through a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Social Studies Learning has a positive and significant effect on students’ Social Sensitivity and is the most dominant variable, as indicated by a t-value of 11.707, a significance level of 0.000, and the highest Beta coefficient of 0.532. This finding confirms that Social Studies Learning is the most influential factor in enhancing students’ Social Sensitivity; (2) Parenting Style also has a significant effect on Social Sensitivity, with a t-value of 6.201, a significance level of 0.000, and a Beta coefficient of 0.278, indicating that it remains an important supporting factor in the formation of students’ social behavior; (3) Although Gender shows a statistically significant effect (Sig. = 0.030), its Beta coefficient is very small and negative (–0.085), suggesting that it is not a dominant factor in the research model; (4) Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant effect on students’ Social Sensitivity, as evidenced by an F-value of 117.284 with a significance level of 0.000. Thus, this study concludes that Social Studies Learning is the most dominant factor influencing students’ Social Sensitivity, supported by the contribution of Parenting Style, while Gender does not serve as a primary factor in the model

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the illuminative model in the evaluation of Social Studies (IPS) learning at Gebangan Elementary School, Pengasih, Kulon Progo. The illuminative model is used as an alternative approach to evaluate learning as a whole, not only focusing on academic results, but also examining the process, interactions, and contextual factors that influence learning success. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with an illuminative evaluation model in social studies learning. Data collection techniques consist of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was carried out using an interactive model, which includes the steps of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the application of the illuminative model provides a deeper understanding of the IPS learning process in schools. Several advantages were found, such as exploring student and teacher perceptions and identifying obstacles that were not detected through conventional evaluations. However, there are also challenges such as limited innovation in learning methods, minimal active student participation, and the focus of evaluation which is still dominant on the cognitive aspect. The application of the illuminative model has a positive impact on increasing teacher awareness to innovate and encourage more active student involvement. This study recommends that the illuminative model be applied sustainably to improve the quality of IPS learning, through teacher training, development of learning media, and involvement of parents and the community in the education process.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a detailed explanation of the evaluation results of the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) program in Social Studies (IPS) learning using a descriptive qualitative approach through the implementation of the CIPP evaluation model at SD Negeri Donomulyo. The research subjects consisted of teachers and students from grade III and grade IV, involving 2 teachers, 28 students in grade III, and 28 students in grade IV. Data were collected through observation and document analysis. The findings of the study show that: 1) The evaluation of curriculum implementation using the CIPP model in Social Studies learning at SD Negeri Donomulyo, Kapanewon Nanggulan, Kulon Progo Regency, has been carried out effectively; 2) In terms of context, the school’s support system, teacher qualifications, and facilities are highly adequate. Regarding input, teacher preparedness, student readiness, curriculum, and learning media strongly support the learning process. In terms of process, Social Studies learning activities have been conducted in accordance with standardized procedures. In terms of product, students’ final examination scores and project-based learning outcomes are highly satisfactory; 3) Classroom interactions, both among students and between teachers and students, have improved the quality of Social Studies learning and yielded positive outcomes not only academically but also in students’ skills in completing projects.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the implementation of the bilingual program carried out at SMA Swasta Kristen BNKP Gunungsitoli by utilizing the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model introduced by Stufflebeam. The selection of this model is based on its ability to provide a comprehensive assessment of an educational program. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach and employed a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, involving the principal, teachers, and students as key informants. The findings indicate that in terms of context, the bilingual program emerged as a response to globalization demands and the school’s vision to produce graduates with international competitiveness, supported by international collaborations in the form of student exchange programs and scholarship opportunities for underprivileged but high-achieving students. Regarding input, the availability of resources was deemed adequate, although challenges remain in terms of teacher quality and supporting facilities. The implementation process has not been consistently optimal, mainly due to language-related difficulties experienced by some teachers. Meanwhile, in the product aspect, there has been an improvement in students' English proficiency, although the outcomes have not yet fully met the expected targets. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the school strengthen its internal policies, enhance teacher capacity through training, and provide more appropriate learning materials to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the bilingual program.

Abstract

Yogyakarta's reputation as a cultural city, student city, and tourist destination does not exempt it from acts of criminality. The increasingly rampant phenomenon of klitih, particularly in the Yogyakarta area, is a transformation of a local term that originally had a positive meaning but has now shifted into a form of street violence committed by youths. This article aims to examine klitih within the context of social reality and connect it to the socialist utopian perspective of Edward Bellamy. Klitih is viewed as a reflection of social failure in educating and shaping the character of adolescents, triggered by weak family control, social environment, and educational institutions. Through a descriptive-qualitative approach and literature review, this article identifies the driving factors behind klitih, including adolescent identity crises, poor parenting patterns, character-deficient education, and negative environmental influences. Within Bellamy's conceptual framework, solutions to the klitih phenomenon must be based on social transformation to eliminate inequality, build solidarity, and strengthen social institutions such as families, schools, and communities. Preventive strategies can be implemented through schools by emphasizing character education, and through active roles of families, law enforcement, and communities that support the healthy and just development of adolescents. Thus, addressing klitih requires collaborative efforts from all parties so that its occurrence can be minimized, or even eliminated.

Abstract

The use of alternative routes by truck drivers in Srumbung, Magelang, raises ethical and social questions regarding the boundaries between individual freedom and collective responsibility. This study aims to analyze such actions through Herbert Marcuse’s theory of repressive tolerance and employs a critical qualitative approach grounded in four analytical principles: (1) true freedom involves awareness of social impact; (2) unreflective freedom reinforces structural domination; (3) personal actions must consider social justice; and (4) individual rights are limited by collective rights. These four principles serve as analytical tools to examine the phenomenon of logistical system domination over rural community spaces. The findings reveal that individual actions perceived as free actually operate within constructed power structures and the pressures of capitalist efficiency. Such actions tend to ignore broader social structures and reinforce existing inequalities. This article emphasizes the importance of critical reflection on personal choices to uphold social justice in shared spaces.
