Abstract

Globalization not only leads to rapid changes in the operating strategies and market competition of companies but also eliminates the boundaries of competition that are local and global. Entrepreneurship in the globalization era has an important role in career development, economic growth, and as a stimulator of innovation and creativity. Entrepreneurship education faces challenges in its implementation, such as the limitations of conventional curricula that focus on theoretical aspects rather than practical skills. Entrepreneurship workshops can be a way to improve practical skills, creative thinking, and develop their ideas and potential in preparing for future business challenges. This activity aims to improve the knowledge and practical skills in entrepreneurship of SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya students through workshops. In the realization of the workshop, the steps taken were observation of the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, preparation, and implementation of the workshop. The workshop was held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, starting at 8:00 a.m. and attended by 155 students of SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya, consisted of Entrepreneurship Education sessions by experienced business practitioners, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Brand Positioning and Marketing Video Competition themed "Marketing & Advertising Campaign”. This workshop successfully created a holistic entrepreneurial learning environment by combining theoretical and practical aspects by providing knowledge related to business creation steps, application of branding positioning concepts, and practical skills in making marketing campaign videos. This workshop is expected to be a foundation for developing students' entrepreneurial skills and creativity in the future.

Abstract

The research analysis aims to find out whether emotional intelligence and the work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City District Office. The data analysis technique used is an associative research method with the help of the SPSS program. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was 43 respondents. Primary data collection uses a questionnaire. The research results show that emotional intelligence and the work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City District Office.

Abstract

Lontar Village has the potential for mangrove forests, which could be used as a local economic resource. This needs to be developed because it is currently operated on a household basis and is still limited by marketing access. Halal certification is one way to create local business products. The aim of this research is to analyze business actors' perceptions of halal certification services for Marine products in Lontar Village and formulate a priority development strategy. Qualitative descriptive methods and SWOT analysis are used in this study. According to the research, Lontar Village's business community is well aware of the value of halal certification and how it can increase market share and product quality. Using marine resources, enhancing market systems, strengthening infrastructure, creating new products, applying climate change risk management, and halal certification are the main growth strategies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of price, quality and halal label variables on consumer purchasing interest in local cosmetics. The research method applied was quantitative, where questionnaires were distributed to 107 Muslim students from various universities in Indonesia using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected via Google Forms and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The research results found that the price variable had an insignificant influence on buying interest. Meanwhile, the quality variable and halal label partially have a positive and significant influence on purchasing interest. Simultaneously all variables have an influence of 74% on buying interest.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work experience on work discipline at the Sharia Bank PT. BPRS Puduarta Insani Tembung, both partially and simultaneously. This research approach is associative. The population is all employees and the sample is 19 employees. Data collection techniques in this research used interview techniques, documentation studies, observations and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this research uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test, Hypothesis Test (t Test and F Test), and Coefficient of Determination. Data processing in this research used the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software program version 29.00. Partially, the work experience variable has a significant effect on work discipline at the Sharia Bank PT. BPRS Puduarta Insani Tembung. Simultaneously, the work experience variable has a significant effect on work discipline at Bank Syariah PT. BPRS Puduarta Insani Tembung.

Abstract

In the current era of the industrial revolution, it has brought about fundamental changes in various area global order of life. This is characterized by the increasing development of innovation and creativity in information technology which is disrupting various aspects of global life, including competition in the economic sector. This disruption can be reflected in rapid changes that provide momentum to make entrepreneurship the front guard of winning global economic competition. Some industries have opportunities for rapid growth while other industries may experience a decline in the rapid development of Information and Communication Technology which has an impact on socio-economic conditions. This concept is a view of the interaction between the development of innovation and technological development which has implications for macro and micro economics. Among the sectors affected are products and services that are being developed, the production, sale or supply of which depends on how far digital technology reaches. In the digital economy, companies offer their services according to special services for special requests or special offers whose offerings are characterized as. This research was appointed to analyze the influence of convenience, design, trustworthiness, price, various food choices towards intention to continue use through perceived value and attitude towards food delivery apps, especially Gofood customers in Manado. The sample used in this research was Gofood customers in Manado based on data from 120 respondents. For data processing and analysis in this research, we use Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS20.0 software as software for processing data.In this research it was found that satisfaction has a positive value towards intention continuously to use so that the higher level of customer satisfaction results in stronger customers using the Gofood application in Manado.

Abstract

Apart from technological developments, the financial industry is also developing with the emergence of fintech (financial technology). Fintech is an innovation in the financial sector that refers to modern technology. Increasing the presence of fintech which leads to the emergence of sharia-based fintech and providing convenience to customers will certainly have an impact on the formal sharia financial industry. Modern online businesses are replacing traditional businesses, and Indonesia is one of the leading leaders in fintech development. The Islamic financial industry is more stable and viable than the conventional financial industry. The aim of this research is to identify opportunities and challenges for Indonesian Sharia fintech (financial technology). The data analysis technique used is a qualitative technique and the results of this study show that there are opportunities and challenges for Sharia Fintech in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Board Gender Diversity, Board Independence, CEO Duality, and CEO Tenure on the Value of Banking Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period Before and After Covid-19. The independent variables in this study are Board Gender Diversity, Board Independence, CEO Duality, and CEO Tenure. The dependent variable in this study is firm value which uses two proxies, namely PBV. The number of samples in this study amounted to 39 companies with 6 years of observation so that there were 234 total observations to be analysed. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. The research method used in this research is quantitative. Data sourced based on secondary data, namely annual reports published from each company. The analysis method used is panel data regression with Stata version 17. The results of this study indicate that the results show that Board Gender Diversity has a negative effect on firm value projected by PBV value in the period before Covid-19. Conversely, Board Gender Diversity has no effect on firm value projected by PBV value in the period during Covid-19. Board Independence has no influence on firm value in the Pre Covid-19 period. Conversely, Board Independence has a positive influence on firm value at the time of Covid-19. CEO Duality has no influence on firm value in the pre-covid period or when covid struck. CEO Tenure has a significant positive effect on firm value in the Pre Covid-19 period. Conversely, CEO Tenure has no influence on firm value during Covid-19.

Abstract

Modern lifestyle includes daily human habits that are in accordance with the demands of the times. Instant noodles have become an alternative food for the majority of the Indonesian population. PT Lemonilo Indonesia Sehat is a startup company based in West Jakarta. Lemonilo was founded by Shinta Nurfauzia (CEO and Founder), Ronald Wijaya (Co-CEO), and Johannes Ardiant (Chief Product & Technology) in 2015. On October 1, 2016, Lemonilo officially started with the concept of a healthy lifestyle. This is related to the observations of the founders regarding the availability of healthy food in the market at high prices. In addition to e-commerce, Lemonilo products can be purchased through a mobile application and in some supermarket and minimarket areas. Lemonilo is also present in 28 regions in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to test the influence of currency and co-creation on customer loyalty mediated by customer satisfaction in healthy lemonilo instant noodles. This research was conducted within the boundaries of the Bekasi district community area with a sample of 107 respondents. The technique for taking respondents that uses a non-probability sampling population is purposive sampling. This research tests correlation and regression with the help of SmartPLS 3.2.9 which is used to test validity and reliability. The study indicates that the reliability test results using Cronbach’s Alpha or Composite Reliability show a value of 0.7, concluding that the tested variables are valid, allowing the continuation of structural model testing and potential further development into a thesis.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the impact of the location of village funds on community empowerment in improving community welfare. This research uses qualitative research methods, the data sources used are primary and secondary data where this research uses interview data collection techniques and more in-depth documentation in Dumati Village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo Regency. The research results show that the Village Fund Allocation allocated from the government has been maximized and is starting to have a good impact on empowering the Dumati Village community. Which is measured through indicators in utilizing village potential, as well as the ability to manage Village Fund Allocations in the field of community empowerment. In terms of utilizing the village's potential, it has been done well, namely by providing food plant seeds in the form of vegetable seeds, namely tree seeds and fertilizer for animal products, namely chicken seeds, to farmers and breeders, with the aim of later being able to advance the economy in the village. In terms of utilizing capabilities, the village government has also carried out empowerment in the BUMDES sector with the aim of helping the community to improve the welfare of the village community. However, what is lacking in the Dumati Village government is that its ability to manage is not optimal in utilizing the very strategic conditions of the village.
