Abstract

Pesantren has long been an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia. Of course, all of this cannot be separated from the Kiai's leadership role in it. Starting from the leadership of the charismatic Kiai, autocratic, democratic, especially humanistic leadership, all of them have an influence on the progress of the pesantren. As with Humanist leadership, with its application in a boarding school. This research uses qualitative research or more precisely mini research, which means to correlate the phenomena found with existing theories. The humanist leadership of a kiai focuses on the nature of humanity or humanity, considering students as real human beings, not as objects, let alone being made as "soldiers" in the Kiai's personal interests.

Abstract

The learning activities of Grade VI students at SD Negeri 2 Tri Eka Buana in mathematics are lacking and tend to be very passive. This can be seen from the absence of students' responses when asked questions, many students seem not interested in working on the questions given and there are still many students who are indifferent. The purpose of carrying out this PTK is to find out whether the application of PBL is able to improve learning activities and student learning outcomes. This research is a PTK type which involves one class. This research was conducted in two cycles where each cycle has the same activity stages, namely Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. The subjects of this study were class VI students in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year with a total of 21 students consisting of 7 boys and 14 girls. The classical completeness criterion in mathematics is 65%. Data collection techniques used: (1) Observation sheets of student activity when giving action through observation. (2) Data on students' mathematics learning outcomes were obtained from the learning outcomes test cycle 1 and cycle 2 after being given treatment. The results of this study show that: (1) There was an increase in students' learning activities in the mathematics learning process in cycle 1. Student activity increased by 62.5% in cycle 2 to 70% included in the active category. (2) Student learning outcomes have increased, where cycle 1 reaches 61.9% or 15 students can achieve learning mastery at moderate criteria and in cycle 2 it increases to 76.2% or 18 students achieve learning mastery with high criteria . So it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model is able to increase learning activities and learning outcomes of students in mathematics class VI SD.

Abstract

This article discusses the mapping of the development of interpretation in Egypt. This article discusses the development of interpretation in Egypt in the classical, middle and renewal phases. Where each phase has its own characteristics and methods. The classical Egyptian interpretation was greatly influenced by the Meccan madrasah, so that many of the interpretations circulating at that time were sourced from the narrations of Ibn Abbas. The second phase is the codification phase. This phase experienced quite significant development compared to the previous one. This period has more diverse methods and patterns of interpretation compared to the previous period. Interpretation in this period has begun to use the bi al-ra'y (dira>yah) approach. Next is the renewal phase. In this phase, the study of interpretation has begun a new chapter with the presence of the mujaddids of interpretation pioneered by 'Abduh and his student Rashīd Ridā with a new approach that is more objective and positions the Qur'an as a source of guidance as well as a problem solver for social problems that plague Muslims. This approach is what Adams calls "descriptive" which throws away religious subjectivity and carries critical scientific values in religious studies. With this approach, the Qur'an will be more "down to earth" because it directly touches on social issues and that is why it can be stated that at this stage, the paradigm of interpretation is al-tafsi>r al-ijtima>'i>.

Abstract

Research with a significance level of 5% found that t-count = 0.385 while t-table at a significant level of 5% is 2.000. This can be interpreted that t count < t table. Thus Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted, meaning that there is no difference between the learning achievements of students who live and those who do not live in Al-Arifin Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a quantitative method, a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations or samples. Data collection uses research instruments and data analysis is quantitative in nature with the aim of testing the hypotheses that have been set. The results of the study showed that there was no difference in achievement between students who lived and those who did not live at the Al-Arifin Islamic boarding school. There are several factors that affect the level of success of students in learning that affect learning achievement.‎

Abstract

Modernization and urbanization have brought significant changes to children's living environments, often impacting the development of their environmental identity. The loss of green spaces, urban sprawl, and cultural shifts have reduced children's emotional connection to their residential environments. This study employs a descriptive phenomenological approach to explore children’s subjective experiences in interpreting their environment amidst modernization challenges. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and narrative analysis to uncover the essence of children’s experiences with physical and social environments. The findings reveal that children’s environmental identity is influenced by physical factors, such asgreen spaces and play facilities, as well as social factors, such as family and community support. Additionally, children’s interaction with digital spaces shapes their perception of the real environment. This research offers recommendations for educators, urban planners, and policymakers to create environments that holistically support the development of children's environmental identity, especially in the context of rapid urbanization.
