Abstract

Indonesia's defense policy in the form of a Minimum Essential Force (MEF) can produce apolicy on developing Indonesia's defense posture until 2024. Efforts to meet the needs of Defense and Security Equipment Tools (Alpalhankam) implemented to date are still trying to fulfill MEF needs until now one hundred percent. The fulfillment of the needs Defense and Security Agency continues to pursue through procurement from the foreign and local defense industries. The establishment of the KKIP in 2010 and the issuance of Law Number 12 of 2012 have legitimized the government's support in efforts to develop the national defense industry. With the government's policy related to the defense industry, it will encourage the ability of the local defense industry to realize independence which carries out by defense diplomacy. The problem to be investigated is the government's role in defense diplomacy to support the development of the Indonesian defense industry. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through snowball sampling and literature study. The study results show that defense diplomacy carried out by the current government, especially the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto, can encourage defense cooperation that can support the development of the Indonesian defense industry while still prioritizing the principle of being accessible active, and non-alliance. Furthermore, the defense diplomacy strategy needs to be developed more broadly by offering a broader and more profitable defense industry cooperation scheme.

Abstract

The method used in this study is quantitative. This method uses to predict the influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable; in this study, the variable X1 (Leadership Style), X2 (Work Environment) is the independent variable and the variable Y (Work Spirit) is the dependent variable. The sample in this study was 70 people; the instrument used was primary data, and multiple linear regression analysis uses to analyze the data. Based on the results of the study, there is a significant influence between leadership style and work environment on employee morale at the Education and Culture Office of Serang Regency. With the test results obtained multiple linear regression equation Y= 28.019 + 0.215 X1 + 0.246 X2. and hypothesis testing, the value of tcount Leadership Style = 2.312, using the significant limit = 0.05, obtained ttable = 1.66757. Moreover, tcount Work Environment = 4.034 obtained ttable = 1.66757. The test criteria from these results are tcount > ttable, meaning H0 reject, and H1 is accepted. Thus, the t-test hypothesis of the leadership style variable and work environment significantly influence work motivation. The leadership style variable has a coefficient of determination of 0.215, which means there is an influence of leadership style. It works environment on employee morale by 21.5%, and the remaining 78.5% influenced by variables others not included in this study.

Abstract

Negotiations that involve two or more parties in reaching an agreement cannot go off from the communication in its process. Therefore, excellent and practical communication skills will make negotiations effective as well. This study aims to analyze the importance of the communication process in negotiation through the qualitative descriptive method, or more accurately, a secondary data analysis method using existing data, and then express into words that describe the essential role of the communication process in negotiation. The study results showed that negotiation, as one business activity involving two or more parties in its process, cannot be separated from communication to reach a mutual agreement. Therefore, communication is exchanging messages from one party to another. Therefore, communication plays a vital role in negotiations. A negotiator with good communication skills must be able to convey a message that the other party quickly understands and also be able to read or understand the intent of the message sent by another party, both verbally and non-verbally. Thus, both parties can compromise so that an agreement meets each party's needs as expected. Based on the results obtained, the communication process in negotiations is one of the critical success factors that aim to reach an agreement beneficial for each party involved.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between hotel customer loyalty and service quality, customer value, customer trust, and customer satisfaction. It aims to validate a previously unidentified theoretical model in the Indonesian hospitality industry. This study employs a quantitative approach. First, a survey was distributed to 181 guests of four-star hotels in Jakarta. Information regarding service quality, customer value, customer trust, and customer satisfaction was gathered through surveys. Then, PLS-SEM was utilized to analyze the collected data and establish the proposed Structural Equation Model (SEM). The findings indicate that service quality positively influences customer value, trust, and satisfaction. This study found no correlation between customer trust and customer loyalty. However, there is a positive correlation between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, as demonstrated by the test. Additionally, customer value was found to influence customer loyalty positively. As a result, the suggested model helps hotel owners create a program to improve their customer service in order to increase customer trust, satisfaction, value, and loyalty and so raise the profitability of the sector. By validating the suggested structural model and offering insight into consumer perceptions, this research benefits the hotel services industry. Hotel operators will be better able to incorporate service quality to increase customer trust, satisfaction, value, and loyalty.

The compensation variable has a direct effect of 23.5% and an indirect effect through the extrinsic motivation of 19.5%, a total effect of 43.0%. The results of the correlation coefficient of determination expressed in percentages describe the magnitude of the contribution of all independent variables, namely extrinsic motivation and compensation, in determining the performance variable, which is 0.865 or 86.5%. In contrast, other factors that do not affect performance that is not examined are shown by the value of ε = 0.135 or 13, 5%.
