Abstract

This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of internal service quality and work facilities on employee satisfaction at Bank Kalsel Sharia Branch Office Banjarmasin. This research employed a quantitative design with questionnaires distributed to all 45 employees. The sampling technique used was saturation sampling (census sampling). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 23 through multiple linear regression analysis. The t-test results indicate that Internal Service Quality has no significant partial effect on Employee Satisfaction with a significance value of 0.068 > 0.05. Conversely, Work Facilities have a positive and highly significant partial effect on Employee Satisfaction (0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously (F-test), Internal Service Quality and Work Facilities significantly affect Employee Satisfaction (0.000 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R2) shows an R Square value of 0.558, meaning that 55.8% of Employee Satisfaction is explained by these variables, while the remaining 44.2% is explained by other factors.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged higher education libraries to switch to digital services by utilizing E-Library, especially at STIKES YRSDS Surabaya has implemented the E-Library system as a tool to support learning and access to information for students and lecturers. The evaluation was carried out because the E-Library system has never been thoroughly evaluated and several obstacles were still found, such as errors and hacks on the website and the level of user satisfaction with the available services is unknown. This study aims to assess how satisfied E Library users are using the End User Satisfaction (EUCS) method. The EUCS method is used with five dimensions of assessment, namely content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. This study uses descriptive research with instruments in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire which was distributed to 71 active students of STIKES YRSDS Surabaya as respondents. The sampling technique was carried out using simple random sampling. The results showed that most users were quite satisfied with the E-Library service on all dimensions tested. The content variable obtained the category of satisfactory by 58%, accuracy by 70%, format by 62%, ease of use by 63%, and timeliness by 69%. However, there are still several aspects that need to be improved, such as the quality and completeness of information, system stability so that errors do not occur frequently, a more regular menu display, the provision of clear user guides, and an increase in the speed of access to information. Overall, the EUCS method is able to provide an overview of the level of user satisfaction with the E-Library system and can be a basis for managers to develop services to be more effective, comfortable, and in accordance with user needs.

Abstract

Pembatalan sertipikat hak atas tanah akibat cacat administratif menimbulkan ketidakpastian hukum terhadap kedudukan kreditor pemegang hak tanggungan dalam sistem perkreditan nasional. Permasalahan muncul ketika sertipikat yang dijadikan objek jaminan dibatalkan melalui putusan PTUN atau keputusan administratif Badan Pertanahan Nasional, sehingga hak tanggungan kehilangan objeknya dan kreditor berpotensi kehilangan kedudukan preferennya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis validitas perolehan hak atas tanah yang dibatalkan akibat cacat administratif, implikasi hukumnya terhadap hak tanggungan, serta konstruksi perlindungan hukum bagi kreditor. Penelitian menggunakan metode hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan perbandingan hukum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem publikasi negatif bertendensi positif di Indonesia belum mampu memberikan perlindungan optimal terhadap kreditor beritikad baik karena belum terdapat mekanisme notifikasi maupun kompensasi negara. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan reformasi regulasi melalui penguatan due diligence, integrasi sistem notifikasi digital pertanahan, pengakuan hak intervensi kreditor dalam sengketa PTUN, serta pembentukan Dana Jaminan Pertanahan sebagai instrumen perlindungan hukum bagi kreditor pemegang hak tanggungan.

Abstract

The patriarchal culture, which considers men to be more dominant in all matters, is still firmly embedded in people's lives in Indonesia. Even though Indonesia legally opposes this patriarchal culture by establishing laws and regulations that prohibit discrimination, including in terms of gender, this still exists. This patriarchal culture is one of the strongest reasons for domestic violence. Rape in marriage, or what is known as marital rape, is a form of violence in which one of the parties is forced to engage in sexual activity against his will. This research was conducted using a normative method with the aim of increasing understanding and public awareness that marital rape is a form of violence. The result is that society still normalizes this because it is considered a problem in the private sphere, which is appropriate according to religion. In fact, Islamic teachings, which are often used as shields, also prohibit this action because Islam always teaches a balance between husband and wife in marriage and is also threatened with punishment in Law No. 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence.

Abstract

Bullying in higher education is a serious issue that impacts students' mental health. This study aims to analyze the relationship between bullying incidents and psychological impacts in the form of stress, anxiety, and depression in students of the Faculty of General Medicine, Sultan Agung Islamic University, Semarang. This study design uses a quantitative approach with an observational analytical cross-sectional design technique. A total of 96 samples were from students of the Faculty of General Medicine, Unissula, in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through the Olweus  bullying questionnaire to measure the level of  bullying incidents and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-Y) to assess the level of stress, anxiety, and depression using. Data regarding student identity, such as age, gender, and year, were obtained through information entered in the inform consent on Google Form. Analysis of data on the relationship with stress levels and sleep quality was carried out descriptively using the One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. The results showed that 74% of respondents experienced moderate  bullying, 4.3% experienced moderate depression, 53.1% experienced moderate anxiety, and 47.9% experienced moderate stress. Female respondents reported more psychological impacts than male respondents. Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between  bullying incidents and the psychological impacts experienced by students. It can be concluded that  bullying has a significant psychological impact on students, particularly in the form of stress, anxiety, and depression.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode survei dalam penelitian kualitatif serta menjelaskan keunggulan dan tantangan penggunaannya dalam pengumpulan data sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik studi pustaka dan analisis berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelaahan jurnal, buku, dan artikel ilmiah yang membahas penelitian survei dalam konteks kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian survei dalam pendekatan kualitatif mampu memberikan gambaran mendalam mengenai persepsi, pengalaman, dan pandangan responden terhadap suatu fenomena. Selain itu, metode survei kualitatif juga dinilai efektif untuk memperoleh data yang bersifat kontekstual dan interpretatif melalui penggunaan pertanyaan terbuka, wawancara, dan observasi pendukung. Namun demikian, penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya tantangan berupa subjektivitas data, keterbatasan generalisasi, dan kebutuhan analisis yang lebih kompleks. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa survei dalam penelitian kualitatif dapat menjadi alternatif metode yang efektif bagi peneliti sosial dan pendidikan dalam memahami fenomena secara lebih mendalam dan komprehensif.

Abstract

Anemia is a global health problem characterized by decreased hemoglobin levels, resulting in impaired oxygen transport to body tissues. The standard treatment for anemia commonly involves iron supplementation, particularly ferrous sulfate; however, its use is often associated with gastrointestinal side effects that may reduce treatment adherence. Dates (Phoenix dactylifera) contain iron, vitamin C, folic acid, B-complex vitamins, magnesium, and various bioactive compounds that may support hematopoiesis, making them a potential natural alternative for anemia management. This study aimed to determine the effect of date extract on hemoglobin levels in anemic male Wistar rats. This study employed a laboratory experimental design using a pretest-posttest with control group design. A total of 30 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups: normal control, negative control, positive control (ferrous sulfate), date extract at a dose of 69.62 mg/200 g body weight, and date extract at a dose of 278.47 mg/200 g body weight. Anemia was induced by administering sodium nitrite (NaNO₂) at a dose of 40 mg/kg body weight for 7 days. Hemoglobin levels were measured before and after treatment. Data were analyzed using One-Way ANOVA, Kruskal–Wallis, and post hoc tests with a significance level of 5%. The results showed a significant difference in hemoglobin level changes among treatment groups (p<0.001). The group receiving date extract at a dose of 278.47 mg/200 g body weight demonstrated the highest increase in hemoglobin levels, followed by the positive control group and the lower-dose date extract group. No significant difference was observed between the high-dose date extract group and the ferrous sulfate group, indicating comparable effectiveness to standard therapy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of digital investment platform to the investment interest of students at the Falcuty of Ekonomics and Business (FEB), Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), with platform ease of use and platform features as mediating variables. The high growth of young investors in Indonesia, reaching 37 percent, or 20.32 million single Investor Identification (SID) by the end of 2025, Forms the basis for the urgency of this research. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) through SmartPLS 4 software. Theresearch population consists of active FEB UMS students who have ever used digital investment platforms, with a sample of 99 respondents obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted using a closed questionnaire rated on a 1–5 point scale. The research results show that digital investment platforms and the convenience of the platforms do not directly affect the investment interest of FEB UMS students. However, the features on the investment platform directly affect the investment interest of FEB UMS students. Thus, students' investment interest is more influenced by platform features than by the investment platform itself or the convenience of the investment platform.

Abstract

Banking plays an important role in supporting economic growth through the activities of collecting and distributing funds to the public in the form of credit. Credit has become one of the main sources of financing for people to meet consumption needs as well as business capital. However, public interest in applying for loans is greatly influenced by various factors, one of which is the credit interest rate. High credit interest rates can increase the burden of installment payments, thereby affecting customers' decisions in taking loans. On the other hand, lower interest rates tend to increase public interest in borrowing because the cost of loans becomes more affordable. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of credit interest rates on customers’ loan interest in the banking sector. The research uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis method. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 100 bank customers who had previously taken or were currently taking credit loans. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with certain criteria. Data analysis was conducted using validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression tests, t-tests, and coefficient of determination tests. The results of the study indicate that credit interest rates have a negative and significant effect on customers’ loan interest. The higher the credit interest rate, the lower the public interest in applying for loans. Conversely, lower credit interest rates can increase people’s interest in applying for credit. These findings indicate that credit interest rate policies are important factors that must be considered by banks in increasing credit distribution to the public.

Abstract

The continuous advancement of information technology has led universities to begin utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) as online learning tools to support the effectiveness of academic activities. This study aims to evaluate the quality of LMS user service at the Dr. Soetomo Hospital Foundation College of Health Sciences (STIKES YRSDS) using the SERVQUAL model to identify the gap between user expectations and actual experiences with LMS services. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey approach. The sample was selected purposively from students who had actively used the LMS for at least one semester. A sample size of 65 students was obtained using the Slovin method. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale of 1–5 and analyzed using SPSS software and Cartesian diagrams. The study findings indicate a negative gap across all five SERVQUAL dimensions, indicating that the LMS service is still considered inadequate to meet user expectations. The reliability and responsiveness dimensions were the aspects with the largest gaps, particularly in the attributes of system stability (R3 = −1.03) and service response speed (V5 = −0.97). Based on the Cartesian Diagram analysis, attributes in Quadrant I (Top Priority) include the physical appearance of the LMS (T1), response speed (V5), system stability (R3), and user attention (E4). This study concludes that STIKES YRSDS needs to continuously improve and develop the system, with a primary focus on increasing system speed, service stability, and user support to optimize user satisfaction.
