Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of career management and career planning on employee motivation, loyalty, and retention at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Banten Province. The work environment of BPBD is characterized by high risks and heavy workloads, which necessitates an effective human resource (HR) management system to maintain employee quality and organizational sustainability. The research method employed is a qualitative descriptive approach by analyzing working conditions, career development systems, and their impacts on employees. The results indicate that meritocracy-based career management can enhance employee work motivation by providing career path certainty and competency development. Furthermore, clear career planning increases employee loyalty as it creates a sense of security and emotional attachment to the organization. Employee retention strategies can be implemented through non-financial rewards, strengthening training programs, and transparent career path mapping. Thus, career management and career planning have a significant impact on improving the quality of human resources at BPBD Banten Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the workload of employees in the Human Resources Management Division at PT X, covering workload conditions, factors contributing to the workload, and the impacts experienced by employees. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method to obtain an in-depth understanding of the workload conditions experienced by employees. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis process involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that employees’ workloads are high and do not align with their work capacity. Employees must complete routine tasks and periodic tasks simultaneously while meeting high demands for precision and speed. Regular working hours are deemed insufficient to complete all tasks, leading to frequent overtime. The high workload is influenced by limited staff numbers, time pressure, the complexity of interdepartmental coordination, technical constraints in operational systems, and the introduction of new tasks lacking clear guidelines. These conditions have physical and mental impacts on employees, such as fatigue, stress, and increased work pressure. Furthermore, the high workload also affects employee performance, as evidenced by decreased concentration and attention to detail, thereby increasing the likelihood of work errors. The results of this study indicate that workload is influenced not only by the volume of work but also by work systems, coordination mechanisms, and organizational policies that do not yet fully support employee work effectiveness.

Abstract

The cafe industry in Pamekasan Regency has seen significant growth in recent years. Increasingly fierce business competition requires businesses to not only provide quality products but also create a consistent service experience to maintain customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation on customer loyalty in cafes in Pamekasan. The study used a quantitative approach using a survey of cafe customers who had made multiple purchases. TQM variables were measured through the dimensions of customer focus, continuous improvement, employee engagement, management commitment, and service quality control. Meanwhile, customer loyalty was measured through repurchase intentions, recommendations to others, and commitment to the cafe. The results showed that TQM implementation had a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty. Customer focus and consistent service quality were the most dominant factors in increasing customer loyalty. Furthermore, the study found that cafe customers in Pamekasan tend to consider service quality, cleanliness, comfort, and staff responsiveness before deciding to return. The continuous implementation of TQM has been proven to increase customer satisfaction while strengthening long-term relationships between cafes and consumers. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of quality management studies in the culinary business sector, while also serving as evaluation material for cafe entrepreneurs in increasing business competitiveness.

Abstract

 The rapid development of digital technology has facilitated the utilization of various forms of traditional culture on digital platforms, including gamelan as one of Indonesia’s cultural heritages. The use of gamelan on digital platforms, such as social media, streaming services, and audiovisual content, serves not only as a means of cultural preservation but also as a source of economic value through commercial activities. This phenomenon raises legal issues concerning the protection of gamelan as a Traditional Cultural Expression within the framework of Intellectual Property Rights. This study aims to analyze the legal status of gamelan as a Traditional Cultural Expression in Indonesia, the forms of its commercial utilization on digital platforms, and the legal protection available for such utilization. This study employs a normative legal research method using statutory and conceptual approaches. The legal materials consist of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources, which are analyzed qualitatively. The findings indicate that gamelan is recognized as a Traditional Cultural Expression protected under Indonesian copyright law. Nevertheless, the increasing use of digital platforms poses challenges to the effective implementation of such protection, particularly with regard to commercial utilization and the management of economic benefits. Therefore, strengthening legal protection mechanisms is necessary to ensure both the preservation and fair utilization of gamelan in the digital era.

Abstract

This article examines the practice of dual office holding by ministers and deputy ministers in Indonesia's Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 period and its implications for government performance and good governance. This study employs a normative legal research design using statutory and conceptual approaches. The data were obtained through the analysis of primary legal materials, including Article 23 of Law No. 39 of 2008 on State Ministries as amended by Law No. 61 of 2024, Constitutional Court Decision No. 128/PUU-XXIII/2025, and various secondary legal materials such as journal articles, books, and institutional reports related to constitutional law and governance. The findings show that despite the explicit legal prohibition, several deputy ministers continue to hold concurrent positions as commissioners or supervisors in state-owned enterprises. This practice creates conflicts of interest, weakens the independence and professionalism of public officials, and reduces cabinet effectiveness due to divided governmental and corporate responsibilities. Furthermore, dual office holding contradicts the principles of professionalism, accountability, transparency, legal certainty, and impartiality within good governance. The novelty of this research lies in its integrated analysis of constitutional prohibition, judicial interpretation, and the practical consequences of dual office holding in the post-2024 cabinet structure. This study contributes to constitutional law and governance studies and may serve as a reference for future research concerning public office ethics, institutional integrity, and government accountability.

Abstract

Mesjid merupakan institusi keagamaan yang memiliki peran strategis tidak hanya sebagai tempat ibadah, tetapi juga sebagai pusat pemberdayaan masyarakat. Namun, dalam praktiknya, fungsi mesjid sering kali masih terbatas pada aktivitas ritual semata. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran mesjid yang makmur sebagai sarana pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial, ekonomi, pendidikan, dan kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi literatur, melalui penelusuran berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan dengan fungsi masjid, keterlibatan masyarakat, dan pemberdayaan berbasis mesjid. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kemakmuran mesjid sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan aktif masyarakat, kepemimpinan takmir yang profesional, pengelolaan keuangan yang transparan, serta optimalisasi fungsi mesjid secara terpadu. Mesjid yang dikelola dengan baik mampu menjadi pusat pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi, dan kesehatan yang berkontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat, khususnya kelompok rentan. Dengan demikian, pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis masjid yang makmur dapat menjadi alternatif solusi dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan umat secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran akuntansi di jenjang SMA/SMK menjadi semakin penting di era Revolusi Industri 4.0, namun realitas di lapangan masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara sistematis jenis media digital yang digunakan, frekuensi dan pola pemanfaatannya, hambatan yang dihadapi, serta persepsi siswa terhadap kontribusi media digital dalam pembelajaran akuntansi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara semi-terstruktur dari 146 responden siswa kelas XI dan XII SMA/SMK beserta guru akuntansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video tutorial (87,7%), spreadsheet (76,0%), dan LMS seperti Google Classroom (71,2%) adalah media yang paling dominan digunakan, sementara penggunaan software akuntansi spesifik seperti MYOB atau Zahir masih sangat rendah (28,1%). Frekuensi pemanfaatan lebih intensif di SMK dibandingkan SMA, namun pola yang terjadi masih didominasi pendekatan satu arah (guru menayangkan, siswa menyimak). Hambatan utama meliputi koneksi internet tidak stabil (82,2%), keterbatasan perangkat (67,1%), dan kurangnya pelatihan guru (58,9%). Meskipun demikian, persepsi siswa tergolong positif (79,5% setuju media membantu memahami konsep abstrak; 81,2% menyatakan pembelajaran lebih menarik). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran akuntansi masih bersifat parsial dan belum terintegrasi secara sistemik, sehingga diperlukan penguatan infrastruktur, pelatihan guru, serta pengembangan konten digital yang adaptif terhadap kurikulum dan kebutuhan dunia kerja.

Abstract

Prinsip checks and balances merupakan salah satu pilar utama dalam sistem ketatanegaraan demokratis yang berfungsi untuk menciptakan keseimbangan kekuasaan antar lembaga negara serta mencegah terjadinya penyalahgunaan kewenangan. Polemik revisi Undang-Undang Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (UU Pilkada) yang muncul pasca putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi menimbulkan perdebatan mengenai efektivitas penerapan prinsip checks and balances dalam sistem ketatanegaraan Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi prinsip checks and balances dalam kasus revisi UU Pilkada serta mengkaji hubungan kewenangan antara Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat dan Mahkamah Konstitusi dalam perspektif hukum tata negara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach), pendekatan konseptual (conceptual approach), dan pendekatan kasus (case approach). Bahan hukum yang digunakan terdiri atas bahan hukum primer, sekunder, dan tersier yang dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui metode deskriptif-analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa revisi UU Pilkada menjadi salah satu indikator penting dalam menilai efektivitas mekanisme checks and balances antara lembaga legislatif dan yudikatif. Kewenangan DPR dalam membentuk undang-undang harus dilaksanakan dengan tetap memperhatikan putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi yang bersifat final dan mengikat sebagai wujud penghormatan terhadap supremasi konstitusi. Dengan demikian, penerapan prinsip checks and balances yang efektif menjadi faktor penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan kekuasaan, memperkuat negara hukum, serta menjamin terselenggaranya demokrasi konstitusional di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study is entitled "The Effect of Average Years of Schooling, Gender Empowerment Index, Life Expectancy, and Marital Status on Women's Labor Force Participation Rate in Jambi Province." The study aims to examine and analyze the extent to which these four variables influence the Women's Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) across Jambi Province. The research employs a quantitative approach through panel data regression analysis, covering the period from 2020 to 2024 across 11 districts and cities in Jambi Province. The findings reveal that women's LFPR in Jambi Province throughout the study period exhibited fluctuating movements without a fully consistent directional trend. In terms of partial effects, average years of schooling has a negative and significant influence, while life expectancy has a positive and significant influence on women's LFPR. The Gender Empowerment Index shows a positive effect on women's LFPR, although this effect is not statistically significant. Meanwhile, marital status does not have a significant effect on women's LFPR. When all four variables are tested simultaneously, the results indicate that average years of schooling, Gender Empowerment Index, life expectancy, and marital status jointly exert a significant influence on women's LFPR in Jambi Province.

Abstract

Child grooming is a form of crime that targets children and adolescents through emotional manipulation for the purpose of exploitation. This legal awareness program aims to increase adolescents' understanding of the dangers of child grooming and ways to prevent it. The results showed an improvement in participants' awareness and vigilance regarding this issue.
