Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation on employee behavior within organizations. Compensation is an important factor influencing motivation, job satisfaction, and employee loyalty. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study method to examine the relationship between compensation and employee work behavior. The results show that a fair and competitive compensation system has a positive impact on productive, participatory, and loyal work behavior. Conversely, unfair compensation can lead to negative behaviors such as decreased performance, absenteeism, and turnover. These findings indicate that the role of management in designing a transparent and fair compensation system is crucial in shaping a healthy organizational work environment.

Abstract

The digital era has driven the rapid development of social media. Digital streaming service companies view this phenomenon as an opportunity to utilize social media platforms to retain consumers. Consequently, the digital streaming industry faces intense competition, making social media marketing an effective strategy to increase consumers' repurchase intention, particularly through enhancing brand engagement, brand image, and brand awareness. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing on repurchase intention in digital streaming services by examining the roles of brand engagement, brand image, and brand awareness. The research employs a quantitative method, with data collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 265 respondents. Data testing and analysis were conducted using SPSS and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on AMOS. The results show that social media marketing does not have a positive effect on brand engagement but has a positive effect on brand image, brand awareness, and repurchase intention. Moreover, brand engagement does not positively affect repurchase intention, whereas brand image and brand awareness do positively influence repurchase intention. These findings reinforce the importance of social media marketing in building consumer repurchase intention through brand image and brand appeal.

Abstract

In this digital era, easily accessible technology allows the public to easily obtain, read, and disseminate various types of information on social media. This study examines the Role of social media in the Dissemination of Information and the Enforcement of Law related to Alleged Domestic Violence (DV) Crimes in the digital era. Social media has become an important platform for raising public awareness, providing space for victims to report cases, and encouraging law enforcement. This study uses a normative juridical approach with an analysis of relevant legal regulations, such as Law Number 23 of 2004 on the Elimination of Domestic Violence (PKDRT) and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law). The results indicate that social media not only accelerates the dissemination of information but also helps domestic violence victims gain public support and legal evidence. However, it is important to consider legal and ethical boundaries in its use. This research recommends digital literacy and collaboration between the government and social media platforms to create a safe digital environment and support effective law enforcement.

Abstract

As digital natives, Gen Z employees possess unique characteristics, including a strong affinity for technology, a desire for work-life balance, and a preference for flexibility in the workplace. A flexible work environment—which includes autonomy in choosing work time and location—has emerged as a relevant managerial approach to enhance productivity and job satisfaction among this generation. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 Gen Z employees working in various startups across Indonesia. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression to examine the relationship between a flexible work environment and work motivation. The results indicate that a flexible work environment has a positive and significant impact on Gen Z employees' motivation. Flexibility fosters a sense of trust and autonomy, which in turn boosts enthusiasm and work loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze conflict management strategies that can be effectively applied to enhance teamwork within organizations. Conflict often arises as a consequence of differences in perspectives, values, interests, or roles among team members. Rather than being viewed solely as a disruptive element, conflict can serve as a constructive force when managed properly. This research adopts a qualitative approach through a literature review method. Data were collected from a variety of academic sources including scholarly journals, books, and prior research studies relevant to the topics of conflict and teamwork. The findings reveal that conflict management strategies such as collaboration, compromise, internal mediation, communication training, and the establishment of team norms are proven effective in strengthening teamwork. These strategies not only resolve interpersonal tensions but also reinforce the social fabric of the team, contributing to a more positive and productive work environment. The success of such implementations is largely influenced by open leadership, an organizational culture that supports dialogue, and the team’s readiness to cooperate and adapt. This study recommends that organizations embed conflict management practices as an integral part of their team development programs. With the right approach, conflict can become an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and achieve organizational goals more effectively.

Abstract

This study aims analyze the influence of work motivation on employee performance at the Fire and Rescue Department of Surabaya City. The theory applied is Maslow's hierarchy of needs, which categorizes motivation into five levels: physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to employees as respondents. The collected data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. The two indicators with the greatest influence are physiological needs and self-actualization. These findings suggest that fulfilling basic needs and providing opportunities for self-development are crucial in enhancing the performance of the personnel.

Abstract

Highlights how important legal accountability is to maintaining Indonesia's judicial system and legal clarity. A key tenet of the legal system is legal accountability, which governs the duty of people or organizations to answer for acts that transgress the law in both the criminal and civil spheres. This ruling highlights that evidence and the circumstances surrounding the actions are taken into account in addition to elements of intent or negligence when determining liability. The decision further states that the application of legal accountability principles must be consistent with the moral, ethical, and just norms that are now prevalent in society. As a result, this ruling is an essential rule for evaluating and determining legal liability in an impartial and reasonable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the physical development conditions of elementary school-aged students at SDN 1 Karangmangu, in order to support the creation of an optimal learning process through the strengthening of children's physical aspects. Physical development is understood as a biological change that includes the growth of muscles, the brain, and bones. The role of teachers and parents is crucial in stimulating and monitoring this development, so that children can grow into independent individuals in adulthood. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research location is SDN 1 Karangmangu, with participants being the students of the school, and analysis is conducted based on child physical development theory. The results of the study show that, in general, the physical development of students is progressing well, although some children experience growth that is not in accordance with their age. These differences are suspected to be influenced by genetic and environmental factors. Therefore, parental involvement is essential in guiding children's physical development towards a more optimal direction.

Abstract

D'wish Cafe, as a provider of coffee and light snacks in Bekasi, faces challenges in determining optimal selling prices and accurately evaluating the profitability of each of its products amidst fierce competition. This study examines the implementation and role of Job Order Costing (JOC) in improving the accuracy of determining product selling prices at D'wish Cafe. Through a qualitative approach with management interviews and observations, it was found that although D'wish Cafe has informally applied Job Order Costing (JOC) principles in identifying direct costs for custom orders (e.g., catering or special cake orders), the formalization of this system is still limited to regular products. A more systematic application of Job Order Costing (JOC) is believed to provide more precise cost data for each menu item, enable more strategic pricing, and provide in-depth insights to identify the most profitable products and areas of efficiency that need to be improved.

Abstract

The oil and gas industry is a strategic sector that requires systematic approaches in workplace management through Good Housekeeping and occupational safety implementation to achieve optimal business performance. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the influence of Good Housekeeping and occupational safety implementation on business performance at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) RU III Plaju. The research employed a quantitative approach with random sampling technique involving 125 respondents from a population of 919 employees. Data were collected through Likert scale questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) and multiple linear regression through SPSS 30. The results demonstrate that Good Housekeeping significantly influences occupational safety (t-value 6.877 > t-table 1.979; p = 0.000) with regression coefficient of 0.383. Occupational safety shows highly significant influence on business performance (t-value 15.844 > t-table 1.979; p = 0.000) with regression coefficient of 1.013 and explains 76.9% of business performance variation. Good Housekeeping also directly influences business performance (t-value 2.215 > t-table 1.979; p = 0.029) with regression coefficient of 0.103. This study confirms that integrated implementation of Good Housekeeping and occupational safety provides dual benefits through simultaneous improvement of occupational safety and business performance, with recommendations for developing comprehensive and sustainable implementation strategies.
